I went to a bar with some friends in Little India. Needless to say I was feeling drunk and horny around midnight, and lo, I found an open massage parlour. The proprietor was a hideous Chinese woman in her late 40s or early 50s, clearly a former working girl. But I went in. Very small, curtained cubicles. Dark. I couldn’t see the girl well. She started the massage and was doing a nice job, then suddenly left. After a few minutes she came back, and was suddenly much better, touching and groping and offering extras. We made a deal for sex for S$150, far too much but I didn’t know the prices then.

She was the proprietor! The nasty slag! Her technical skills confirmed that she was a former working-girl. When I protested, she said the first girl was really tired and wanted to go home. But I had already paid up, and technically, I was in the hands of a master. So I decided to finish the deed. But I could not. She was just too ugly. So she finished up with a hand job.

When I left, she promised me a young girl the next day. I did not return. So watch out for this place. It is a monger's lasts resort.

...to all who answered my question. I do remember very well passing by the hotels 81, but never stayed. During my last visit, I just had a stopover of 5 hours, and managed 2 sessions with fishbowl girls, so no hotel...
Will probably try hotel 81 in lorong 18...

I just wanted to add that there is no safebox in the room and be careful with your valuables in the room. You can use safebox in the receiption (if you are staying in Hotel 81-Star) if you really need it.

Hotel 81 chain is great ..(though) some are better than others. Be prepared for walk of shame. They know what's up. I got denied upon entry once, but guy behind the desk changed up quickly, and told me to wait 1/2 hr until a room was ready..1/2 hr later I was in shower with my OT sweetie.

I get the vibe they want to be respectable, BUT ALSO MAKE MONEY. So *****s are tolerated for now. Price is decent also...

Ha ha, Being caught walking around in Geylang after dark is already a "walk of shame'-let along actually staying in this area. So don't let anyone behind a counter of any hotel in this area disturb you as they will know you are in Geylang for one reason (SEX).

Recently enjoyed a day in Singapore. Hotel 81 - Star, that's the light blue hotel at Lorong 18.

It's slap bang in the middle of all Geylang street-action indeed, looks rather nice from the outside, good recommendation by Dimension. Never stayed there, but do know it's back alley .. Indian girls (not my fav) and a large amount of Thai girls (more my fav), who are also at Westerhout Road. Scores of Chinese girls everywhere, Lorong 16, 18 and 20. Indo girls at Lorong 14 and 12. Just wondered, who cares about a possible walk of shame right in the heart of a large 24/7 red light district? .. cheers, will post a small fr later.

Hotel 81-Star has a back door which is open during the day. If you use that, you dont get to see the reception desk. I like their front door setting also. As you enter, the reception is on the left, while elevators are on the right. Many times I have been there, they have never paid attention.

I know it must be somewhere in the forum, but screening back 100 pages is painful, so perhaps one member will be kind enough to answer the following question:

I have a stopover of 24 h, arriving and leaving early morning. Rather than going to my usual Orchard Hotel, I thought easier to stay in Geylang. Is there there a hotel there which is reasonably comfortable, with at least basic amenities, and not just a ST hotel? In other words, can I have at the same place a decent place to stay where I can also bring back whoever I want? I am not too bothered by price, since this will be in any case be cheaper than any orchard Hotel.

I have stayed Hotel 81-Star (I believe Lorong 18). It is ok hotel and has internet in some rooms. Rooms are small and clean. 24 hour action in very near vicinity of the hotel and the hotel is GF. It is also not that far from subway station. I stayed also in Hotel 81 (or Fragrance, I dont remember) on Lorong 20 which I didnt like. Hotel 81's on lower Lorong also looked pretty decent, though I have never stayed in them.

but in your case you are heading to beijing, so thats sort of a bit like bringing coal to newcastle.

have to agree with this comment. if you were going to somewhere less enticing i could understand wanting to get your rocks off in view of the impending drought but beijing? for me it would come second in asia only to macau with shanghai running a close third. bangkok fourth then hong kong and jakarta. just my opinion of course.

Use the Hotel81 or Fragrance chains. Just Google for them. Each has a half dozen hotels in the center of Geylang - all reasonably priced and very clean and built for girl-friendliness. Enjoy, AR+
