Then I walked around Loring 14 to 24 . But could not find anything.

Were they closed since it was around 2. 00 am.

I just had a visit to 16 Lor 18. Place is pretty decent and the person out front was very nice and friendly. I did not find him very pushy or insistent but he only spoke Chinese. At around 4 pm there were only 3 ladies as the rest were already busy serving others. All of the ladies looked like they were in their late 20's to early 30's, about 5-7 ish in terms of looks. I went with number 27 as she was smiling and had a welcoming look on her face, a lady called Momay or May. A curvy lady with an average build and small breasts along with a few small tattoos. $60 for 30 mins, the room was small and pretty cluttered but overall still clean and pleasant. I have to say that she is one of the nicest person I have ever met. Her English was poor but understandable and she made me feel really comfortable and relaxed. She did not rush through anything and gave 110% effort in her service. I stopped over in Singapore for two days on my trip to Jakarta and stayed at a hotel in Lorong 8 in Geylang. I sampled Chinese, Vietnamese, and Thai each. Thai and Vietnamese houses are mostly in Lorong 16,18, 20 and Chinese houses in Lorong 12 and 14. The prices are $50 to $60 for Thai and Vietnamese for 30 minutes, and $100 for the full hour. And Chinese are more expensive, $80 to $110 for 30 minutes, and $200 for the hour. If you want more wholesome experience, go for an hour, but most if not, none would be open for GFE, DFK. True fishbowl experience, you get one chance to see and pick, if you miss and go back the girl may not be there or the Mamasan will not let you in thinking you are just kicking tires. You will also find freelancer street talent after dark and early morning on the main Geyland road as well as side roads connecting these Lorongs, I found a couple of them are pretty, but to the most part they were low standards, they will ask you to go to their hotel, won't come to yours. The street freelancer prices are the same or even more than the house prices. Unless you find a cute gem willing to do what you like, it's better and safer to avoid street talent and stick to Lorong houses. There are also massage places along this Geylang road, $30 for 30 minutes, $60 for an hour, some offer extras mostly HJs for $50. Things and actions have certainly gone down after covid, but not bad to the extent I was afraid.

Back in the day (actually not that long ago), there were swarms of streetwalkers roaming around Geylang at night. Lots of cute Indonesian girls, as well as some Thai and Vietnamese. Anyone have any thoughts as to whether they will ever come back? I was hoping that post Covid there would at least be some. But there seem to be none.

During my visit in the last week of February, I tried to find out different options. But I could score only in Geylang. There are many reports in the forum about this location. There are a lot of wh**e houses in LOR 14 to LOR 20, which I explored. They look like most other houses in tire vicinity in the day time. In the evening you will find that there are a few man (often only one) in front of those houses. A Chinese lantern is generally lit. The names of these houses are quite indicative of what you may get inside. The price is a little high for the Chinese, followed by Thais. Viets are generally the cheapest.

I visited a lot of those houses and finally chose a cute looking Thai for 60 SGD (half an hour). Kisses were not allowed. Only CBJ was available, before the actual deed. The girl did not even allow me to lick her be**BS. She had untrimmed pubic hair, which was a turn off. CBJ was for 3-4 minutes and then she made me put on the protection. As I was going a little slow, she got impatient and told me to pound harder and faster. BTW, generally they can't speak English. I find it somewhat surprising that people are paying significant amounts, $200 sgd for a short time. A few years ago, I stayed in Geylang on a stopover. I paid $50 for a Thai from a pimp, $60 for a Chinese hooker, $80 for an Indonesian FL SYT, and $60 for 45 minutes at one of the Lorang houses. Have prices have gone up overall or foreign tourists are being quoted high? I'll be visiting next week and provide an update.

LOR is the street. I just took a Grab there.

There is a usually a guy out front waving you to go in. You look and if you like you select a girl, otherwise you go back out to the next house. They are one right after another. You can ask the guy a few basic questions but not talk to the girls.

The two I chose each had their own rooms in the house, and they take you to their room. I quite liked this as it had all of her personal belongings and it smelled like the girl. It was not a room used by many girls. I went once at night and once in the afternoon and there were no problems.

I didn't bring a girl to my hotel and I didn't try Ipanema.

It has now. But before Brix and Ipanema were where most tourist used to go. Ipanema has reopened at a different location in the CBD and has the same scene. Mostly Viet girls asking 300+ for short time. No local resident will pay that but sometimes you can go and get their numbers and they will see you in the day for half that. Less customers since there are no major hotels in the area, just office buildings.

Because Geylang is mostly a local scene and there are other boards devoted to that where you get detailed reports on houses and girls. They don't post on ISG and most visitors don't get past Orchard Towers.
