You get what you pay for

I had a pre paid reservation. I arrived at the hotel at 1 pm and was not allowed to check in. I was told that they had rooms available but if I wanted to check in before 3 pm, I would have to pay and additional S$ 30. The check in clerk told me that this was a corporate wide policy for all Fragrance Hotels in Singapore. This is the first time that I have been asked to pay more for early check in. I have seen extra charges for later check outs. So, if you are staying at any Fragrance Hotels, don’t expect to check in early without paying at least S$ 30 more.

I also wanted to leave one piece of luggage overnight at the hotel when I checked out since I had another prepaid reservation at the same hotel couple of days later. They were ok to store my bag for a few hours but refused to store my bag overnight. I asked them if they were short of storage space or otherwise, what was the reason for their refusal? They said that it was corporate policy.

It seems to me that Fragrance Chain’s general policies are not very friendly to their customers. I would like to hear from other members if they have experienced the same kinds of policies at other hotels.
    Yahoo one,

I have also stay at Frangrance hotel in Geylang before great location near the actions and cheap for Singarpore standard , this is a 2 star motel chain and you are not going to get 5 star service ,this is a high rent city they need to charge you for storage luggage for over night and late check out is just business and company policy and low cost hotel is not easy to find here .

About a year ago I stayed at the Fragrance Emerald on Lorang 6. I arrived around 1PM without a reservation (I had made one thru their website but never got confirmation) and had to wait about a half hour because they didn't have a room ready. But they called housekeeping to expedite my check-in. No extra charge. Overall I liked the place -- it wasn't 5-star but neither was the cost.

They weren't super-friendly but I didn't find them to be rude or cold. Maybe there's some variation by particular site or maybe there's been a tightening come down from corporate.

I was planning on staying with them again on an upcoming trip. Maybe we'll look at Hotel 81.

    First visit to GL

Last week I had an overnight transit through Singapore, but know having discovered this forum and its knowledge of Geylang I changed from my usual Orchard road 4 Star hotels to one in the local area. Checked into a Frangrance hotel (can't remember which one) and headed out to see the sights. Walked every Lorong just to get the hang of the place and was stunned by the sights.

Grabbed a pretty little Indo girl (Davey) and agreed to $70 and back to the hotel. Talk about rush, she was undressed, on the bed and urging me to get on with Mish only so she could get away. I was totally unimpressed.

About 2am I went out again thinking that a bit older, and more experienced provider would serve me better and found Lee, a mid - late 30s PRC who agreed to $40 ST. Well this babe was much better except she said my dick was to big for her, and I have to admit she was very tight. I have never considered myself that big and thought the providers just told me so to make it quicker and easier for them. Well I had to give up with Lee as she was just too tight. She ended up giving me a nice massage and HJ to finish and a couple of hours of true GFE which I prefer so I was happy.

Can anyone tell me if there are any more upmarket hotels close to GL? When I stay the company pays so cost is not a problem, but I do like being close to the action.

    Choice of Hotel and girl

I stay in Geylang Hotel very often like once a week. I think Hotel 81 chain still give the best value for money. I compare in term of the bed and bed sheet quality, towel size, air-con noise, shower room, room smell, orderly of room. Etc.

Has been mongering in Geylang quite often too. Give me a very good choice of Chinese, Thai and Malay. Chinese girl 1hr s$100 if book overnight at Lorong 10. Quality good but usually above 20s. If got below 20s will be very good. Oh, but service usually no BBBJ. For Thai girl, Lorong 20 is of better value. If want overnight, no matter what time you go, quote s$180. The OKT not working there anymore and very close to me told me can get this price. Oh, do not let the OKT tell you at this price the girl has to come out to work halfway. You just walk away and see how he react. At most later come back and negotiate the price again. Usually provide BBBJ. Also above 20s. Once I got a 18s SYT there, all her parts look new. Usually I book 1 hr s$70 not included room.

Malay girl has a big group at Lorong 12. Malay girl often provide BBBJ. Its taken as standard option. They are from Indonesia.compare to Chinese and Thai, they are the most daring group, sometimes they won't bother to use condom. Age also in 20s. Also cheapest compare to rest.

Did you stay at any other Hotel in Geylang or Singapore?

Putting aside the Hotel inconvenience, how was your overall Geylang experience? Did you enjoy the atmosphere and ample supply of street walkers? Would you stay in Geylang again?

    Thanks!

It is a small hotel. They only had two people at the front desk. I was dealing with the manager himself. As a matter of fact, the reception clerk was sympathetic to my request. I even asked the manager to see if he could call the general office to see if I could be accomodated but he was not even willing to do that. It appeared that he had strict instructions to not override these policies.

GL report - vast number of Chinese girls

Had a trip to Singapore recently. Went to GL. Taxi fare is about 6-7 dollars from downtown hotels one way.

What amazed me was the number of Chinese girls. I arrived at Lorong 8 and Talma. At around 9pm on a weekday. The girls are standing on the curb one next to another. I mean shoulder to shoulder!

I was already shocked by the vast number of girls. Back in Aug when I transit through Singapore. But this time. There must be at least 3-4 times of the Chinese girls alone the curb on Talma and other back roads from Lorong 8 to 12, maybe further down.

Most of the girls are very good looking. Some are even model quality. The cost is 100. Talked to one of the girls. She complained that even 2 weeks ago. There weren't this many Chinese girls. Seems the 30 day visa suddenly is very easy to get now. The girl complained that there are so many pretty girls and customers just walk around and didn't know whom to choose from.

Most of the girls do not speaker much English. I was able to communicate because I can speak Chinese.

With increased number of girls. Other issues come up. Police patrol of the area increased. You will see girls run off streets into hotels or main roads. Once the patrol passes, they will come back to curb side again. One interesting incident was a Korean got drunk and got into a fight with some one. To have his say on the issue, he stood in front of someone's BMW (presumably the owner of the BMW was involved) and completely block the traffic on Talma for quite a while. Until the policy came. The girl I was chatting with cursed and saying he is damaging her business:.)

The girls all have cell phones. And you can have them come to your hotel. Using phone calls or text messaging. I had my girl come over the next day. It was a very good experience. She is very nice girl from northern China. Pretty, straight forward, and very GFE like. Very good services. Generally speaking. Treat the girls with respect. And they will return the the favor.

    Geylang area - Lorong 14 to 20.

I was in the Geylang area recently. I had never been to Geylang before but wanted to go there to check out the reports that I had been reading at ISG.

I went to Lorong 18 and there was a lot of action there. I saw mostly Indian girls mixed in with some Chinese or Indons. They were in the age bracket of 25 to around 35 with a median age of around 29. The Indians were mostly originally Tamil Indians i.e. from the Southern state of Chenai in India but had been in Singapore for some time. They did not appear to be transient workers on a 30 day visa. They did not speak any Hindi at all and spoke minimal English. Most of these Indian women were wearing cheap sarees. The gentry of customers looking at these women consisted of very poor lower working class Indians in Singapore. I would rate these women as a 1 to 2 on a scale of 1 to 10. They were asking S$ 20 for one shot and S$ 40 for two hours. You will find these South Indian women on Lorong 16, 18 and 20 and on the small connecting lanes between these Lorongs. In total, I guess I saw at least 100 South Indian women between these three Lorongs. I was there around 9 pm on a Week day. I would advise that you stay away from these women unless you know Tamil and can negotiate things up front otherwise, you might be disappointed in their performance.

There was open gambling going on these side lanes as well. They use three dice and people bet on the numbers that will show up. This type of betting is most prevalent. Additionally, you can bet on the total count of the three dice. The two betting options are between 4 to10 and between11 to17 for the total count of the three dice and you get even money. I guess if the total is 3 or 18, then the house takes the money. The minimum bet was S$ 10 and I saw people betting as much as S$50. There were lot of people betting on each table, may be as many as 10 to 15. I had a feeling that some of these people were in cahoots with the operator to try and bring in the others. But, I did not see any cheating, it seemed to be a fair game. They always had a lookout who was watching for Police and I saw these people disappear in 15 seconds and it looked like they were never there to begin with. But they always settled and never ran away with anyone’s money.

As you move from Lorong 16 to Lorong 14 on the small connecting lanes (closer to Geylang Road), you will find some North Indian women there i.e. from Delhi or Mumbai area. They speak good Hindi and English. But there are very few of them there, may be four or five at the most. They are afraid of going to Lorong 16 or higher lorongs as they get harassed by the Tamils and get chased away. These women were at best 2 or 3 on a scale of 1 to 10. They also wanted same money as the South Indians. I talked to a Gujarati girl at length. For those of you that are not familiar with India, Gujarat is a state in western India. She was about 31 years old. She spoke excellent Gujarati, Hindi and understood English but did not speak it.

She said that she had just come from Mumbai about 5 days back. She had borrowed Indian Rs. 20,000 (S$ 800) for the air ticket and Singapore visa from another girl that comes to Singapore regularly for this business. She was there on a 30 day visa and had to pay this girl Rs. 25,000 back within 30 days (including Rs.5,000 as interest plus the original). She also mentioned that a lot of the girls from Mumbai are coming here since the beer bars have been shut down in Mumbai and there is no other place for them to go and pick up customers. I guess it must be easy to get a 30 day visa to Singapore since a lot of girls from Thailand, Vietnam, China and now India come there for this business.

On a different evening, I saw over five hundred Chinese girls, some near perfect model quality, in Geylang Lorongs 6 thru 12. They were younger in age and rated between 5 to 9 on a scale of 1 to10. They all wanted S$ 100 for short time (i.e. one shot). None of them knew any English, and I really mean no English at all. I do not know Chinese so could not communicate at all. The customers in this area were mostly Chinese and they appeared to be well heeled business type people.

MisterMax - I think traveling from Geylang to the Harbourfront FT will cost around 15 to 20 Sing Dollars and will take appr. 20 minutes, perhaps a little less, but maybe some of the local guys here on the board can confirm. If you're going to the Ferry Terminal, be sure to mention it the taxi driver, the Harbour Front is a pretty big shopping center, so he can take you to the right entrance of the Harbour Front from where the ferries are departing. Cheers.

    Singapore stopover

From a recent visit, some Thai puppy snouts, pls find attached. Lovely 20 yo girl, enthusiastic performer, found her close to Lorong 18/corner Westerhout.

I'd given Singapore a miss over the last couple of years, but it looks like during that period of time monger prices have steadily dropped. If memory serves me correct, years back prices had start at 80 for Thai etc and 100 to 150 for Chinese Singaporeans. Now it's 50 to 80. Can anyone confirm that being the case? What happened?

I hadn't expect much mongering at all and booked a hotel at Sentosa, cost me 3 taxi rides to Geylang in the end, loved it. First trip I arrived just shortly after lunchtime, looks like a perfect time to go, absolutely spoiled for choice, very favorable girl/guy ratio.

Second trip at night time around 11:30, place was buzzing with activity. Walked over to Lorong 12 to check out the Indo chicks. Anyone met miss B? If you're up for a bit of sleaze, can't miss her. She's the one with short cut bright red hair on the corner, the hair may be green, purple or pink by now.. greets you as "hi my husband" and introduces herself as "from Bali". No way she from there, maybe the sex industry has taken her there and then onwards to Singapore. Was slightly irritated by her "touristy" type of sell at first, ignored her and moved on to the next Lorong, but then moved back to check some of the chicks on the side of the road.

Obviously miss B came onto me again with the same BS, but this time she also pressed herself against me and she actually felt pretty good. I then inquired about the price. "70. .. and you can fuck my ass". And you can fuck my ass.. two weeks of hypocritical Europe and that was just what I needed. A sleazy ass fuck.. in one of the ST shacks we went to, she was undressed before me and came on to me naked and started kissing me whilst I was unbuttoning my shirt. Seriously, the girl doesn't mind the sex, kissing was absolutely perfect, she has a lovely soft tongue - one hand behind her head the other one massaging her naked soft ass. Rock hard in less than 5 seconds.

On the bed she felt so good to me, I had to come down to the ass business pretty quickly before I would unload on her. So, she turns over, offers herself and unfolds her ass with both hands.. I look down and see this tiny asshole. Obviously she had been trying to make a hard sell out on the street. My dick size is pretty standard, but no way this was going to work.. no lube either, thus, using some of her own saliva she starts fingering herself in her ass as to widen the opening. This girl is a positive thinker. I start helping her, fingering her in her ass and after five minutes or so give it a try with some of my own saliva. Another five minutes later "take off the condom" she says, "it makes it easier". Right. Miss B is really a complete sweetheart, but also high-voltage, even fucking her with a condom is risky enough, thus after another five minutes of trying later, I give up, turn her around and resume that fantastic kissing with her. Some juicy snogging later, job done, but only the conventional way. Hop in the shower and a 20 minute taxi ride later, back at the hotel jump in the bath tub for a good hour soak.

For two days, I had been playing the higher end of the market in the disco at the Marriott and oustide in the general vicinity. I had already had some great action for relatively little cash (relative to quality/service and relative to what's available back home). The reports are in the other Singapore thread here, here, here, here and here.
However, I realized that at the rate I was going, even with deep discounts, I would be broke within a few days, and I've got a couple of weeks left on the road. Besides that, there was something missing from my experience. The girls were catering far to much to the foreign market. I decided I didn't just want to fuck Asians, but also, I wanted to fuck, as Asians fuck.

Everything I read in this forum about Geylang informed me that although it's still enjoys the relative safety of being in Singapore, Geylang could indeed get a litle dicey at times. Nonetheless, it's where some real bargains might be had, and where one might partake in these pleasures in an environment quite different than the posh disco or luxury hotel suite. The sights and smells of Geylang were definitely different than what I'm used to. I wanted to stop for dinner, but every time I tried to check out a restaurant, I'd see a sign, advertising the specialties such as "pig organ soup" or "fish head chowder," and I'd have to move on. Finally, I just took the plunge, pointed to noodles, sauce, and took the suggestion from the chef on a piece of fried fish. Washed it down with a Tiger beer, and it was all damn good.

Cruised up and down every alley way from Lorongs 16-24 and through the long, crooked alleyway that connects Lorongs 4-20. I know that the information exists on this forum, somewhere in previous posts, but I read a street-by-street guide to Geylang on some hobbyists' Singapore site, called Warrenssingapore. It's good but static information from one guy's experience, so no competition for what ISG provides. I ignored the Large Houses and Fishbowls, because I was already getting better quality or same quality at lower prices, back in the Orchard area. My target was freelancer street girls with whom I might be able to chat up and discover some chemistry before closing negotiations. I was also especially keen on trying a girl of a nationality I hadn't experienced, before, which was much less likely to happen at OT, Brix, or the Marriott.

So I cruised the alleys, taking in the sights of the girls, the people eating at cafes and restaurants, the "fragrant" hotels, and the underground gambling games, being played right in the open. I kept a vigilent watch for security threats, as well as opportunities. While standing in the vicinity of Lorong 20, past PRC territory and among a flock of Indonesians, I was talking to a couple of guys from Bali, when all of s sudden the flock of Indonesians, started to fly away, as no doubt, someone told them that the police or other disapproving authority was moving through the area. Can you imagine 50 or so cute Indonesian girls (none could have been older than 20) scurrying off in one direction and many directions?

I was feeling like I was in the groove with the place and had done a 'once over' of most of the areas, when I spotted an Indian woman, whose smile and eyes had caught my eyer earlier. I had never been with an Indian woman, so it really there was some real exotic quality to the experience. She was probably late twenties, possibly 30 though. Hard to tell, becuase I think a lot of Indians experience harder mileage. She had buck teeth, which I guess helped amplify the flashy smile that had caught my attention. Her hair was beautifully black and luxurious, and her eyes were so expressive. I wouldn't say she was the most beautiful, up against some of the Chinese, Indonesians, and others but among the Indians, she seemed the most inviting, the most accessible to me.

I offered SG$40, which I know I could have got her down to, but she melting me with her eyes, and I accepted her counter of SG$50, almost immediately. We went to a mini hotel that probably does most of it's business by the hour. No luxury appointments here, but serviceable, not terribly filthy, and anyway, clean towels and a condom came with the SG$12 price.

For a girl who claimed to speak no English, communication went well. Her name was Sharita from Delhi. We got naked, and there was light to moderate kissing, cuddling, fondling, all very nice. BBBJ with nice technique. I especially loved the feeling of her long black hair as it moved across my pelvis and thighs. Although I didn't see or smell anything particularly wrong, I had decided that I would bypass DATA from a streetgirl. I think I might not have been able to resist diving down into one of those young Indonesians, but Sharita seemed to be enjoying the fingering I was giving her, as se sucked my cock. We went to the main event which consisted of several variations of mish. Without too much effort, I was able to position my dick to hit her g-spot. She was quite responsive and vocal, so it was very easy for me to know, when I was getting warm, and when I was hitting the target. We kept it up for a good twenty-five minutes or so, until she came, and I popped. There was very nice cuddling, afterwards.

I guess she decided to play the chemistry card and ask me for a tip. Based on the experience I had just had, I wouldn't say she had not earned it, but I had already made my concession to SG$50 up front, and so, I tried to explain, I would pay her no more. I did make it clear that I had enjoyed her, very much. We held hand, walking back to her area. Gesturing to some of the other Indian grils, who occupied the nearby steps and doorways, I asked, "Your friends?" to which she replied, "No.. no friends, only you friend." Another genuinely touching momement. We lingered a little bit with a kiss, and then I felt her hand slip out of mine, as I turned and walked away.

I might have had a notion to walk around some more, befroe finding another girl, but I really felt like I wanted to leave on this high note, so off I went and had a good talk with my taxi driver about life and ladies in Singapore, as he transported me out of the immersive Asian experience of Geylang and back to the antiseptic safety of my hotel on Orchard Road.

She started out with first-class BBBJ. Never better, I almost popped off right then and there. And then the shocker. She looked up, and I realized that she was not the girl I started with. For SG$150, she probably should have stayed, but I'm guessing the fact of the matter is that as drunk as you were, the novice would not have been able to get you off. Servicing the drunk monger requires the skills and patience of the master. You didn't totally lose out, because you acquired a a very funny story to share--a cautionary tale in which you will revel in telling for years to come. The fact that you paid SG$150 to play a part in this theatre production only adds to the absurdité.

What I would have done--and I caution our younger viewers not to continue reading--is to turn the tables, by flipping that "old slag" on her back and going to town on her. If you can't get your mind on something that makes you hard, go down on her, and if you haven't got the stomach for that, use your fingers. Work like a pro and send her reeling over the brink of an orgasm, the likes of which she probably hasn't experienced in years. Then, as you tell your sordid tale of drunken 'bait and switch,' you'll relish the turn of the plot, and maybe just maybe take some mild satisfaction in knowing that somewhere, she might be telling her side of the story over drinks, getting wet, as she recalls the encounter.
