First time i visited Geyland today. Went to Westerhout Rd (street connection between Lorong 16 Geylang and Lorong 20 Geylang) and then.....pick a number. Choose house No. 8 on random.

Was met by the OKT immediately and went inside. That's what I meant - assuming the white people we're talking about are tourists like me and Geylang is not a hotel hot-spot for them. So, we monger during the day and then watch footie nearby the hotel (in a different part of town).

Anyways, it's all a moot point since Geylang was pretty deserted during the daytime as well - no white people (except me) and very few locals as well.

I was in Singapore very recently and visited Geylang almost every day - during the DAYtime, and then did some sightseeing and spent the evenings around my hotel area (Orchard/Scotts) watching the footie matches on the big screen at the outdoor restaurants. Blix helped satisfy the night-time urges.

I dont think so. Me too I watched football matches on giant screens, in Geylang, at 2-3am, and I was the only white guy, in a crowd of Chinese, Srilankans, and the like. At the same night time, no giant screens in Orchard. I think white people simply do not go there night time. They prefer to stay in sanitized areas like the Quay, Orchards, etc.
Day time is different. You too went to Geylang in the day, but got back to Orchard at night.

You got an answer from FriendlyPlanet at the general board but here is some additional information from me:

You can find Fishbowls at Lorong 6, 8, 14, 16, 18 and 20. And I believe also at Westerhout Road. That is the lane between Lorong 16 and 20. There are lamps or candles outside these brothels, and often papa-san is standing outside trying to get you come in and look. So you will find the brothels and as I understand, they are all legal. But if there are a lot of flowers, lamps and candles outside then it is probably a Buddhist temple or funeral parlour. I suggest that you do not get in there, asking for sex.

According to my limited experience the brothels are safe and clean. Actually, both here and in Indonesia the girls seem to be concerned about you're cleanliness. So they wash you in the shower. And a shower together is a nice way to start.

Regarding the girls' appearance, I think you can find what you want. There are a lot of brothels. Last time I think I looked at fish bowls in 25. 30 places before I made up my mind. It is easier to see how a girl look when she is in a fish tank than in Orchard Towers. On the other hand you can have a long conversation with the girl in OT, if you are interested in the personality.

Regarding massage I remember that at one brothel papa-san said that only one of the girls could give massage. My experience from Europe and Asia has made me sceptical to combine professional massage and full service. If possible I use to have professional massage first. As a warm up.
