I received your PM, but as it might be interesting for others, I answer on the public board. True is, there is no comparaison between German FKK and SXM brothels.

FKK Oase, World, Goldentime are simply the best brothels of the world. Nowhere else you can stay in amazing upscale facilities having fun all day and all night long with 50-80 gorgeous young naked babes coming from all over the world and ready to fulfill your wildest dreams. Picture the Playboy Mansion, you are pretty close to what to expect in German FKK. A Disney World for adults, German efficiency in the sex industry, there is no better place to go with a first timer, you can't go wrong.

Other destination I could recommend is Brazil. The Rio Terma's and the Sao Paolo's upscale clubs come close second behind the German FKK in the "best brothels of the world" contest. You won't find the same diversity in terms of origin, but the ethnical diversity of Brazilians is amazing, looks of girls are as high as in German FKK. But the difference is that Brazilian girls just...love sex. Nowhere else you will experience hookers orgasming so easily as in Brazil. If you are looking for the best sex, Brazil is your destination.

But, as Ricker said on the Colombian board, if Brazilians are born to fuck, Colombianas are born to love. There is no better destination for dating a girl than Colombia, even hookers fall easily in love.

Colombia however is not a destination for first timers. That's what makes these Caribbean destinations so popular, being able to meet Colombianas but in a more secured and touristic environment, excellent for first timers. But there is another reason, it has often been discussed on this board. The Colombianas coming to the Dutch West Indies are on three months contrat, far from home family, without any boyfriend. Most would never do that job in their own country, some do it for the very first time. They are all homesick and need emotional support. That's why the scene is even better than in Colombia itself. Beside, it's easy to make a difference compared to the average rough local guests coming to these Caribbean brothels. Some respect and empathy, some Spanish skills, some feeling for Latin culture, that's all you need, nowhere else a hooker can fall so easily in love.

Each Dutch Caribbean island has it's own scene. Curaçao has the biggest brothel of the Caribbean, 60-80 girls, amazing facilities, open 24 hours a day. The girls are alone in their room, you can easily negotiate a TLN and stay with her all night in her room. It's also cheaper, pricing of short time and TLN are half of those in SXM. Unfortunately, you can't take them out for the night, only during daytime. Beside, the girls are on average not as pretty as in Carolina in SXM. Aruba is opposite, girls are in numerous small bars. Each bar has only 2 or 3 girls. It makes it a more natural scene, meeting girls in small bars, but I don't like this scene, visiting 20-30 bars to make up a choice, not very convenient. My favorite island is still Saint Maarten, even if it's more expensive. Carolina and Seamens have simply the best quality girls in term of looks. TLN is also more convenient in SXM.

However, don't compare these brothels to German FKK, the level of facilities are way below. Also in term of looks, it's below what you may find in German FKK. If you like tall, slim and blonde, you are in the wrong place. But in Germany you won't be able to anchor your sailboat in crystal clear blue water in front of an exotic white beach and have breakfast with a sweet naked Colombianita that has made love to you all night long.

Don't worry about hurricane season. They are unpredictible and fast. You will most probably not have to experience one. And if you have so, it's a matter of a day or two...and as a tourist you don't have the trouble of repairing the damages...unlike those who live there.

May be I will shoot for late October, just to improve my odds. I am also planning on renting a boat and skipping hotel....I know it is slightly risky if a storm was to blow over. How bad is it in those two months? More importantly, In those months do the girls leave to go back to where they came from? It would be a bummer to go there in the "low season for Chicas". I've spent 3 weeks During September-October on SXM for the past two years (and will be returning again this year), and have had no issues. I actually like that time of year, because when there are less ships in port and tourists, I find it easier to get better service from a chica because as volume of men decreases, its more important to treat the ones they do get good (better GFE), with hopes they will return for multiple visits. When it's busier, they want to service as many men as they can resulting in chicas being all business. They are less likely to spend more time with you when the place is hopping.

Low season for quantity of chicas, is still a good selection though IMO.

In regards to weather....while yes it is the end of "Hurricane Season", they are unpredictable, and I wouldn't base my decision on weather. It's too arbitrary. The brothels are open rain or shine.

That time of year is also offseason for the hotels, so you should be able to get a better rate during that time of year as well.

I was there in Sept/Oct in 2004,2005 and 2006. Aug/Sept is the peak time for hurricanes in the Eastern Caribbean. The probability decreases slightly in October. Anything can happen... IMO, the island is NOT prepared for a hurricane. If it gets hit, it's not going to be pretty. I take my chances becasue I'm able to find extremely low prices on ebay, etc. I'm going to be there again this year in september.
The weather in general is hot and very humid. AC is necessary even at night, but the heavy showers never lasted for more than a day (never had to miss more than 1 day of my hobby for every 2-week trip.)
There seem to be fewer chicas in Seamans and Carolina because there are very few cruise ships in port (maybe 30-35 chicas in Carolina vs 50-55 in December!) Nevertheless many girls are having a hard time making $$ in the "slow" season and can be bitchy... On the other hand I've had the best GFEs in september/october. Also more rooms are available during the daytime, and it's somewhat easier to have long, uninterrupted sessions during the day. IMO, there is just as much variety in sept/oct as in "high" season, and there are 8s and maybe even 9s available. But again, there are fewer chicas, so the number of 8s and 9s is smaller.

I will be coming to sxm in 2 weeks and am staying at the Pelican resort. I was curious as to if anyone here nows about the resort? Do they have any problems with tln chicas? I kind of assume no, but wanted to see if anyone has had problems. How far is it to the brothels? It looks to me like a 15-20 minute drive without traffic, is that accurate.

Think basic motel with nowhere to park. Typical 3rd world or backpacker hotel. Don't expect airco (not that you need it this time of year) or satellite tv. The neighborhood is not so good at night because all the cruise ship related shops are closed. I think it is next door to a casino if you like to gamble.
