I often wonder what it would be like to be in St. Maarten for an extended period. Would the "kid in the candy store" feeling wear off? Would the thrill and fantasy go away? I would like to think not. So figure $50 per day, a room key and a couple of beers per visit, and $2000 a month will get you laid EVERY day of the month. So find a place for a month or three, and give it a shot. I tell myself this many times. If anyone who reads this Board is on the island for extended periods and has the luxury of mongering these clubs, I would love to hear your thoughts and experiences.

I am not that fortunate, but what you describe would of course fit Zing spot on. He visited the clubs at least twice a week for many months in a row for many years, AND reported it all to ISG (at times just about every visit). We are blessed to still have his reports among us on ISG if you or others make a search (around 2007- 11?). Very rich and solid source of information, not to say unique. At times I still read those. I am not able to detect any less interest for the girls, the clubs or this hobby as time went by. Seems the only risk is a total fascination for Colombia as a must-see destination.

Am I the only one missing his reports immensely?

AFAIK SXM is first of all regarded as a short term mongering destination for North Americans (3- 7 days). Even Routard suggested this way back. If you plan a longer trip, you may consider Curacao, Aruba and Bonaire (or DR or even Colombia) in between to get a wider spread (BTW thanks for the update on Barbados!).

My trips to SXM are usually 1- 3 weeks, and all I can say is that I always wished it lasted longer. But note that I do have a Colombiana addiction (in addition to some interest in sailing and tropical adventures). Sure, at times I get "pussy overdosed" and need a 1- 2 days break (I am not man enough, I confess), but shorly thereafter I find myself back in the club. It IS a drug. The real problem is when you find a sweetheart to return to at 2- 3 clubs, and you want to spend more time with them. It can get expensive. But also, so much fun!!

Our ship docked in St Maarten on the 11th. After walking around downtown to burn some time before 11:00, I asked a cabbie how far to Carolina's. It was pretty close, but I would not have wanted to walk. Really run down Industrial area, but I go inside, and there are 6-7 ladies and a couple of guys sitting at the bar. Defiance is not hopeless just because I have other plans for tonight. Actually, there is a chance you might have liked it here right now knowing your preference for the more laid back clubs. Let's not forget that you get just a little bit more mileage for your bucks trying the clubs outside "El Centro" (Suckergarden). I still experience this.

The challenge is finding the right girl. The Defiance lineup is pretty average and nothing to write home about IMHO. But two of the eight chicas stand out a bit. I tried one of them. Monica is a tall, all natural, slim beauty with long hair coloured light brown. Easily noticed as she is so tall and the most hardworking chica dancing on the bar and hooking up guys. Nice friendly attitude. In the room I was given standard service (CBJ and MPOS FS) with a little bit of kissing / DATY (fresh smelling). Decent, but nothing spectacular.

I would have liked to try the other one too, but there is just too much that attracts me at the other clubs right now. I was bummed when I was down there a couple of weeks ago that the club was basically dead. I've had a few great experiences at this venue. Plus, I recall being there on a Sunday for the pool party out in the back from 4 to 7 pm Great time! I miss the old layout of the bar though, which was basically an island and you could walk around the whole thing. Plus they used to have a video poker machine on the premises which helped kill some time in the afternoon when I used to drop in back in the day. Well eight chicas is better than the none that were there when I stopped by earlier this month. This used to be mostly a Columbiana chica club, so interesting that the owner is mixing it up. Like the mythical Phoenix, I'm sure Defiance will rise again, it's always been a favorite jaunt of mine when on the island. But when you stop in and you're the only soul. That's not fun at all. Hopefully better days are ahead!

First off, I am very thankful for finding this forum. Over thanksgiving week I visited St Maarten, thinking the only places to go were seasmens and Casa Blanca. Discovered this forum after my trip. From reading through this forum realized there are more and possibly better options.


Once again thanks to the users of this forum. Never even knew about LE petite chateau or Carolina's. Planning on making a trip back very soon.

Had a few questions hoping. Some of the members could answer for me.

Amongst the establishments, which would you rank in order from best to worse. And I stayed at a hotel on Simpson bay for about 150 a night. Very nice hotel (Flamingo beach resort). Was wondering if there are better place for cheap.

Ranking establishments from best to worst? In what way? Number of girls? Not entirely easy since we all have our individual preferences for physical characteristics of girls.

I prefer Seamans & Carolinas for the close proximity to each other and that they have Colombianas.

I'm quite sure that Seamans has the best girl's rooms in regards to size & amenities. Some guys don't care about the rooms, but I like quality AirCon and love feeling isolated from other activity & noise when I am getting intimate with a girl. Carolinas has smaller rooms and is noisier due to thinner walls, plus bathroom window / vents that vent out into the hallway or outside the building that brings in more noise.

Carolinas typically has the most physically attractive girls. And I've mentioned it enough to sound like a broken record or a skipping audio CD, but I like the fact the Carolinas has the adjoining restaurant. It makes it a one stop shop for my afternoon fun.

So why didn't you just send her on her way unpaid? She know full well what's expected.

There are certain things that are worth the hassle, and that was not one of them. $50 for a half hour, very rushed, and just not good service. But I made the decision to choose her, she was cute and had a nice smile and a nice body. The service part just was not there. Maybe it's just me, but I'd rather eat it up as a loss and find another chica because there are lots of them. I don't like to make a scene and argue. It's a different story if let's say I see an incredibly hot chica who wants $80 for half an hour, I resist because I know the price is high and then eventually give in and she turns out to be a starfish. I'd be more upset because I decided to pay a higher price. But for the standard service price, I will chalk it up as $50 lost, and I just won't repeat with the girl. I'll get back out to the bar, grab another girl who will hopefully perform better and if she does, there's a chance for a repeat which means more sex for me, and more money for her from a customer who will want another session with her.

That's just my view on these things. It's never a good feeling to know that you got crap service, but it happens and it's just a decision that did not go my way.
