    Orient Beach update

I just got an e-mail from an Orient beach hotel I usually stay at. Quote: "All Orient beach restaurants are now open only restaurants near to Club.

Orient (aka Club O) are very damage".

I assume all the areas will be cleaned up before Nov 1. Not sure if all the places will be open by December holiday season but it sounds like most will be.

By the looks of the videos on youtube. There will be a shortage of boats.

Thanks for the great report and update.

I plan to hit SXM the third week in Nov. I usually stay in Orient Beach area. Sounds like it will be a quieter this year due to all the damage. I see that a plus for beach walking and finding a chair. It can get pretty busy there.

I will see if room rates have dropped.

French Side Scouting Report / Casablanca

There are three beaches I like to take chicas on daytime takeouts, so I thought I would explore a bit to see what damage, if any, they sustained from the hurricane. Friar's Bay and Happy Beach are west of Grand Case. Friar's Bay has two bar / restaurants with rental chairs / umbrellas. Not many people go there, so it is a nice, relaxing place. The bar furthest west was damaged by the storm. Only the tiki bar is open. No food, but chairs and umbrellas available. Beach appears fine. The other bar was completely destroyed. From this former bar, you can take a trail along the ocean for about 1/4 mile and you will come upon Happy Beach. This is a clothes optional beach and a great hidden gem on this island. I did not walk to it this afternoon, but I am sure the beach is fine. No bar or restaurant there, so carry in whatever you need for the day. A vendor who sells sodas and beer is sometimes there. Orient Beach was hit really hard. Many of the beach bar / restaurants were severely damaged, but the good news is that several are back up and running, and others under repair. Beach erosion was severe, but should restore itself over time. Generally on the French side from Grand Case around to Orient, there was widespread tree damage, and broken phone poles and downed lines. Most shops and restaurants were closed in Grand Case today. Apart from the waterfront damages, it appears that the structures on the French side survived rather well.

As I continued around the east side of the island, I got to my afternoon objective- Casablanca. Last year there were 10 or so chicas hanging at the bar during the early afternoon. I arrived to find just one girl sitting in the bar. She immediately came over and presented a very attractive package. Dark skinned Colombian named Andrea, tall, slender, with natural see-cups, long torso and beautiful ass. Sassy, long curls and cute face. A nice Colombian handshake had me moving to the room. No room fee, $50 for her, no time limit. A nice BJ, followed by a really good CG ride, more BJ, doggie pounding and scissor. Offered and accepted invitation to the back door. A really good session. As I was leaving, passed another dark skinned chica with reddish tint hair. Not bad and a nice bod. Disappointed so few girls in the bar, but I had a really good time nonetheless.

One cruise ship in today. Tomorrow there are three, including the giant Freedom of the Seas. None Fri and one on Sat. I may skip the afternoon mongering tomorrow because traffic will be difficult and the clubs will probably have high afternoon traffic from the ships.

Just one last note. The "bridge to somewhere" is complete and open. Pick it up at the end of the airport runway and it will get you to Marigot in a matter of minutes from Simpson Bay or Maho.

Will hit a couple more clubs this evening.

    Back in St. Maarten

Arrived yesterday not knowing what to expect given the recent hurricane. But in driving around a bit yesterday, last night and this morning, most everything is intact. Sonesta Great Bay hotel side is closed, apparently due to roof damage. Some of the more open-air dining places were a bit messed up in Simpson Bay, but open. All roads were fine on the Dutch side. A bit of vegetation displaced. Airport was fine. Internet and cable TV are fine. Apart from the expensive boats laying damaged along the shore of the lagoon by the airport, everything else seems business as usual.

Last night I ventured out around 9:00 pm, to scout some of the clubs and to get my toes back in the water. First made a drive-by of the Philipsburg area clubs. Petite Chateau had a number of cars parked in the lot. The street from the circle past the stadium and past the club is now well lit, although I would hesitate to walk this myself at night. Crystal had a couple of girls standing outside the door. Across the street, the parking lot at Carolina's was full in front and the side. El Capitan had an empty parking lot, but a new outside bar on the parking lot near the main road. I drove back to where Seaman's Club used to be (closed last year), and it is now a place called Mystique. No cars in the lot. Then up to Defiance where there was just one car in the parking lot with the driver heading back to the car. I did not ride to Sunset or Casablanca.

For the first night back, I decided to hit the place I thought had the best girls last year-El Capitan. As I walked up to the door, it swung open to have one DR girl and one Colombian girl rush onto both arms and literally drag me to the bar. I went with the flow to then get the lay of the bar while they both molested me. The Colombian was Julie, a tall caramel with nice enhanced see-cups and a lit extra junk in the trunk. She sat next to me giving me a Colombian handshake inside my shorts, as I had arrived with a raging hard-on. Rosana was a tall caramel, with natural be-cups, long torso body and a nice Latina booty. Adequate English from both. She too was playing with my member as I groped her nice ass. After ordering a drink, both girls began to give me a BJ right at the bar, and wanting me to take both back to the room. While this is going on, I am seeing maybe 10 other girls. Most are darker skin, and most with what appeared to be locals. This is quite a surprise as last October there were at least 20 Colombians working. So I decided to take both back for a threesome. Glad I did. Julie starts me off with a good BJ, then hops on for a nice CG ride, while Rosana is working my nipples, ears and neck while I play with her body. Then I ask for the switch and Rosana gives a good BJ and hops on for a spirited CG ride, while Julie works me and I her. Session continues to a spirited PM / HJ until I explode. They would not let me leave the room until I got off. $10 for the room, and $50 for each. Are you kidding me.

I decided to head back to my hotel, but on the way back decided I should check out Carolina's before retiring. Glad I did. Maybe 15 girls, llghter skinned Colombians with a bar that was mildly crowded. Grabbed a seat and beer at the bar. In short order I was approached by Brenda. She is probably late 20's, with a spectacular body, long black hair, and a smile that absolutely melted me. We chatted a bit, and realizing that I was hard again figured I would go for it-if nothing else, just to see her naked. OMG. Beautiful enhanced see / the cups, shaved pussy and great ass. Engaged in some lengthy DATY, then she reversed for a nice BJ and spirited CG ride. There is just something about the way these Colombian girls move that is like no other. A great session had me leaving with another great day in St. Maarten.

Today, I am going to ride around the French side to see what the storm did to it, and then hit Casablanca early afternoon. This is a good time to go there, as there are usually 10 girls hanging in the bar and few patrons. Last year, it was all DR girls. As I previously reported, I will have to go in with a macho attitude as the DR girls respond positively to it. I will hot other places tonight as well.

Overall, a great start and the Dutch side of the island looks like it has weathered the hurricane pretty well. Tourism is definitely down from this time last year. Some restaurants have chosen to stay closed for the month of October. And the clubs are not very busy, so mongering is easier.

    SXM Boat Bar

Seems that Orient Beach got whacked and lots of boats broke free of moorings in Simpson Bay. But appears the island is up and running. As an FYI. Sunset Bar has their own website. Probably with an email contact. You could always shoot them a message. Not sure about the Boat Bar. Is that the little joint near the roundabout and across from the grocery store before you either take a right to Maho or a left along the beach parallel with the runway?
Yes. Its right at the end of the runway at Maho Beach. The opposite end to Sunset. It's actually a bar carved out of the hull of a boat. .

    Thanks for the update!

Cool cool. Also LI based. Should be good to go to SXM in the first week of Nov. Hopefully my work schedule doesn't impact my up coming vacation to SXM. Got travel insurance with cancellation for any reason & get 75% back, in case of employer demands.

    BigRiddah,

Thanks for the response. Yes, I do recognize your name from other boards. I enjoy reading your reviews and comments. Yeah, it would be great to get together back in New York (I'm out on Long Island but can visit NYC). Hope you have a great visit to SXM.

BTW: I finally have a "legitimate" excuse to break away from my group mid-day tomorrow to visit Phillipsburg. Will be making it a point to visit one of the clubs for some afternoon fun. Down here for two weeks.

I too will be traveling to SXM in November about 4 weeks from now and I checked various forums and found my hotel to be OK. They had some trees down but otherwise in fine shape. I hope the clubs & chicas are OK. Mel has contacts with the lagoon marina and elsewhere so hopefully HE'll be able to bring the boat down in a few weeks time.

Just read the article on www.todaysxm.com about the damage to the island. Seems like SXM got blindsided and was not prepared for this storm (Gonzalo). Also, can't believe there is / wasn't much media attention given to this, since USA Citizens travel there in numbers. Unless I missed something. From what I saw looks like Pedro's and every beachfront bar on Orient Beach (including the one owned by the guy from Jersey) got taken out by laser guided bombs! Man o' man, it's going to take a long time rebuilding. Also, I'd guess a hundred? Maybe hundreds? Of boats sunk, broken free of moorings, washed ashore. Even one of the red SXM Coast Guard boats was a casualty. Can't believe they couldn't protect that asset. Simpson Bay lagoon looks like a killing field. Wonder how the marinas in Oyster Pond / Bobby's Marina in Philipsburg / and the big marina in Marigot fared. To me, it looks pretty bad down there, and again, I refer you to the article at todaysxm.com for the details. Anyone on island? With some real time reports? I was planning a trip in November, but am definitely rethinking it. Again, great video, but unfortunately of a bad event / situation.
