Yes I have to agree with you 100% on the memories of the chicas. I'm not sure if that is a good thing or not. If you are trying to be anonymous it can be a drawback. Not only do they remember everything but have a "data" exchange amongst their friends. It is surprising when you are recognized by someone you haven' met before but she knows about you.

Speaking of memories. I was surprised last trip on my first visit to Empire. Before I was even able to get into my seat at the big, big bar a Coors Light came sliding my way. LEO (Lionel) the old bartender at Hypnotique recognized me when as I walked in. Haven't seen him since they closed Hypnotique. I geuss I must have spent too much time in the bar or maybe just too many Coors Lights. I guess he had been working at El Capitan although I didn't see him in September and started working at Empire this January. A really good guy and he can give some good tips on the chicas.

Having recently returned from about a 10 day adventure on the island, I'm happy to report that all is well with the casas. Although this trip for me had a completely different vibe than my visit last September it was a good, if not great, trip. Only the names and faces (as well as some other fun body parts) have changed. The only disappointment was the weather. Not much rain but a lot of wind on the French side beaches. I think I've done most of the touristy things to do on the island so I do enjoy my downtime on the beach. Won't return in February again.

I will preface my thoughts by admitting I am likely, age-wise, one of the more "senior" members here. My tastes may be very different than others but I still have fun.

My Observations:

Safety:

Like everywhere else you must always be aware and try to avoid doing too much stupid shit. Fortunately, I've never had a major problem. Last September my rental car was blocked in at the Empire parking lot. It was fairly late at night but when I asked someone if the could find the owner, they did. The car was moved and no problems. It does get scary running the gauntlet to get to the door of a casa but usually there isn't a problem.

I try to avoid the 12-5 am crowds. I've been visiting the casas in the afternoons. Usually it's not too busy and you can have a chance to get to know some of the girls. If you find one you like you can set up a "date" to meet say at 9 or 10 and with any luck maybe she's had a few hours to rest and is a little "fresh".

The Casas:

Carolinas – By far they have the best-looking talent on the island. As usual. The line-up had a good assortment of body types. Mostly younger chicas and almost all attractive. I didn't ask but I assume they have about 25 girls here. Once again, too many enhanced butts for my liking though. My first night I sessioned with a dark-skinned girl from Cali. I don't recall her name. It may have been Lucy. All was going good until we got to the room where she asked for payment up front. This kind of turned me off although her CBJ was excellent and full of enthusiasm. While I finished doggy, I just couldn't get into her after the up-front payment request. Too bad.

One afternoon I stopped in and met up with a cute spinner, Lilly. Great service. I would have repeated but this was my next to last day and had other plans for later. I also chatted with another chica named Sara. Would have liked to give her a try but ran out of time. Another thin blonde also caught my attention but didn't get her name.

Crystals – I only went in here once after my visit with Lilly. It looks like they have the second best looking line up. There were what briefly seemed to be several girls that were doable but, being exhausted, had to pass on a couple of good prospects. The only name I remember was Eva. I assume the same shark Eva that was previously reported on here. She grabbed me on the way out of the door saying she gave great professional massages. With her tongue.

El General – Again didn't stop in. The place is now kind of hard to find during the day as there was a large tent like vehicle inspection structure in the front. Their new LED sign really lights up the night.

Empire- I was told that there were only about 12 girls here at the time of my visit and nowhere near the talent level as Carolinas nor during my visit last year. Some new ones arriving soon I was told.

I did spend some quality time with an older girl named Milena. Not the greatest looker, and she has a few extra pounds but the service was exceptional. Never a rush and always willing to talk before and after the deed. She had an amiga named Crystal I wanted to take for a spin but supposedly her Canadian boyfriend was in town so she was mostly occupied.

El Capitan – I wasn't sure that I wanted to go in here since I knew an old friend was here. We met a couple of years ago and have met up several time since. We did have a bit of a falling out a few months ago (long story. Aren't they all). All worked out well and we spent quite a bit of time together. They have a very large line-up here. Reportedly about 35 girls. Unfortunately, the overall quality doesn't rate real high on my personal 1-10 scale. Maybe I just didn't see them all. A few cuties but mostly older and thicker girls than Carolinas or Crystals.

Overall thoughts – The quality level overall was not up to par for the clubs in general with the exception of Carolinas and maybe even Crystals. You can thought find some great looking chicas and as far as quality goes. YMMV. For those looking to bang that dream Colombiana, Carolinas is surely the place to go. Daytime and early nights the music was at a tolerable level at Empire and El Cap. Not so much at Carolinas. Volume, as usual, went way up as the nights went on. Most casas were open until at least 5 am on weekends. Empire would open at 8 am but chica selection would be small. Probably would have to ask to get someone to the bar.

Interesting side-notes:

I had a chance to take several girls for their weekly medical exam. Interesting trying to fit so many people into a roller-skate sized (think Medellin taxi) rental car.

A new dancing bar (at least I didn't notice it previously) opened in the upper level of Empire.

Late one night, probably 11-12 a large group of cruise ship workers entered the Empire bar. Quickly they went over to the quiet part (of the bar behind the red curtains. They were followed by several girls. Surprisingly they were only there for a few minutes and walked out and just started watching the porn on TV. Window shopping?

The old timer guy at El Cap is still there and is really a PIA. The 20 minutes and $10 fee not good.

If you go back to the rooms at Empire, the "cashier" is a really fun lady.

Thanks for the update. I will be heading back to SXM around mid March. This will be my first time back since the big lady Irma passed through town. Besides the mongering I am looking forward to a meal or two at the Chinese restaurant adjacent to Carolina's and a happy hour or two at the yacht club. I understand my other favorite spot, the Dinghy Bar, got wiped out. Any recommendation for other happy hour spots?

Yes you have to do your research according to your own taste and preferences. I just recently wrapped up a trip to SXM. I was able to guide myself by what I read in the threads. I didn't even bother to ask anyone about recommendations of women because I know what I like and I will know what I want when I see her. Like as mentioned before, make a note of the one to avoid and things not to do. Take some time and do your homework and decide for yourself.

OK, your initial post was kind of vague regarding what you're looking for regarding recommendations. You're on the right track with renting a car. Where you will be staying is key also. The ride back from the clubs at night to the Simpson Bay / Maho Beach area, especially if you've been drinking, can be challenging. Read my report a page or so back titled "Updated Scorecard" and it will tell you every chica bar on the island. I'm not sure what the status of the strip clubs these days post hurricane, but I don't visit SXM to go to a strip club.

You've got some daytime options, as well as nighttime options in SXM. Daytime kicks off around 11 am And continues at full throttle until around 4 pm then kicks back in around 8 ish. Although you could stop in a bar and possibly find a chica or two during quiet time. There is a ton of information that's pretty current and even reliable going back a few years. Also, you can check out youtube for some videos that have been uploaded to help you find Carolina's and some of the other chica bars.

As far as specific chica recommendations, I go with my own personal tastes and gut instincts and just make mental note of who I need to avoid. SXM offers a good variety of clubs that are lined up so you can do a pub crawl in your car. The more remote clubs don't get that much press on here, but some gems can be found there as well. Carolinas get the most mention, but be prepared to deal with a busy bar during the day, if you look out over Great Bay and see cruise ships lining the pier.

There's a wealth of information on this thread, but if we've missed something, by all means specifically ask and someone will take point and answer you prior to your trip. Enjoy your upcoming trip and feel free to report back!
