I worry that even if I get over there then the island could go into lockdown or at least have curfew every night by 12 am. Then also got to worry about selection of girls that would be working, will there even be many there.
I still have a flight from St Maarten to Panama and then onto Medellin I need to use up By end of next year to so saving my money and delaying until Easter time maybe a better option for me and then do this trip which I had plan to do April of this year.

Hey FunTime,
Hope you are well. Yes I heard the sad news about Tatiana, she was a favorite of mine, had a great personality and was fun to talk with. My prayers are with her family and young daughter. I currently have booked 2 weeks for Christmas and New Years trip to SXM. Hopefully some of the COVOD hysteria will subside in the next 30 days otherwise I may cancel and wait until springtime 2021. I'm sure we will cross paths again in the future!!

Posts: 63Question about Curacao, campo alegre back open?
I travel there for business but if you had to add in the airfare it's not worth it. I had a quick look a Curacao and it's a no-go. Curfew from 11 to 5 .
Speaking of Lesser antilles, question in curacao back open, specifically campo alegre that place was amazing most of the time.

Hi all.
Anyone remember a girl called Tatiana that worked in Carolina's circa Spring 2019, maybe longer. She was tall, natural, attractive and always used to wear glasses. Friends of my friend used to be her regulars and I had her once and she was very good.
Sadly she passed away at the weekend in a car accident in Colombia. She was a lovely girl from what I knew of her 😢.
Not sure when I will be next on island, hoping for let getaway this Christmas but Covid lockdowns May well put blockers on that.

Posts: 2040Arriving in SXM mid November
Sailing into SXM middle of NOV. The paperwork is incredible for sailors. I had to hire an agent to enter.
My crew and I have to be in quarantine until we are tested on board and have been cleared after the test. . the test is not the regular test I think it is called rt-PRC. I will get it the day before I leave the USA and have to submit the a application and wait for an approval. While at sea we have to check in every 48 hours. On arrival as mentioned another covid test.

Anyhoo, to answer some of your questions, and without getting into a debate on what the state of the island will be in November, historically prices are approx. $5 room + $50 USD girl on SXM for approx 30 minutes. You'll need a rental car to get to the casas. Food on the island is great, with lots of bars, local and touristy. Can't speak to scuba diving, but I hear it's much better on Curacao (where, for reference, girls were at about the $40 USD mark).
Again, this is all before COVID, so I make no predictions for what the future will hold.

I'm thinking of Thanksgiving time and have never been there so looking for some suggestions. I've been mongering for many years through Asia and last year it was Costa Rica. The three mains things I look for are.
-easy access to girls within walking distance of my hotel, though in a lot of threads it seems you go to the bar or massage place and they have rooms there, is that the standard?
-decent local beer bars, bar girls to bullshit with and food.
-scuba diving.
If anyone can offer some average pricing and how it compares info that would be great. My averaged experiences are; Thailand 500 BHT barfine, 1500 girl, Vietnam 40 USD to 80 USD, girls from Line, China 50 USD (outside of big cities) Costa Rica 80 USD to 150 USD.
Any info would be great.
Thanks, Raul.
