Today, 87 degrees, lower humidity, sparse clouds, nice breeze. Island is not busy at this time. Checked portofstmaarten.com for cruise ship schedule to gauge traffic at the clubs. Two ships in today. None on Wed, so tonight should be a good selection of girls with fewer patrons, but tomorrow may be a slow afternoon at the clubs when the girls scurry for beaches, shopping and errands because of no cruise ships being in port. Thurs has 4 ships in, so clubs will be hopping early afternoon. Friday, one ship but none on Saturday. This is how I start with mapping out the week, along with the great intel you guys share here. I expect a fun night, and I will hit the big-3, starting with El Capitan, then Carolina's and then Hypnotica (old Seaman's Club). I always just go with the flow of wherever things take me. Single sessions to start the week, then see if longer sessions or TLN will evolve during the week. I will hit all the clubs this week as I have had great sessions in most of them. The Colombian girls are my favorites, but I have had great sessions with the DR girls as well. Open mind for looks, personality and talent as a "package", and rarely disappointed. This approach has worked well for me, so just sharing it for those who are thinking about coming here to play. Will report as I go.

Thanks for the quick trip report. The chicas at Carolinas always push for a drink right after the introduction as of late. Usually they want a Red Bull if they don't know you (as a pick me upper) but depending on the time, others will go for a mixed drink. Seldom could I push one in the direction of a two dollar Presidente! Actually the drink buying becomes the tone setter. No drink, no interest in the part of the chica. With cruise ship clientele in, they move on to the next guy rather quickly. And since Carolina's is the Times Square / Grand Central of the casas, the chicas are the demand (using simple economics) and you are the supply.

That's why I like bopping over to Crystal's and having a more relaxed interaction with a chica that may not be a 8. 9. or 10, but there are some 7+ pluses there at times. As for Hypnotique. Most of the chicas appear bored during the day, since this is the "overflow" club for guys that either know of it, or have been frustrated by not getting the chica they wanted at Carolinas, so they head here either on there own, or via the cab driver they've hooked up with.

Casa Blanca has now become a nighttime only busy club, that actually stays open the latest of all the clubs. Until 5 am On the weekends I do believe. There was a time years ago, when you could go in during the afternoon and see 10 to 15 casually dressed chicas, milling around that would manhandle you like a swarm of sharks you've never seen! Seems this has all changed. The place, although open in the afternoon is virtually dead, with the exception of one or two chicas just playing on their phones.

I still like the ability to club hop that SXM offers, and if you know the island, you can pull off a circuitous route rather easily. The drive on the island to all the clubs is rather easy. Campo is still on the bucket list. And from what I've read on that thread. Seems there are some other spots on the island being invaded by Venezuelans!

Having just returned from Bogota last month, you still can't beat the power of the dollar vs. The COP peso in terms of value. Just checked airfares also and it's 150 USD less to fly to Bogota next month vs. SXM and you don't rent a car in Bogota, so that's another couple hundred of savings. Only drawback of Bogota, is the climate and dam. It's nice to go to the beach!

And to keep things real. My airfare, hotel, meals, drinks, taxis, airport parking, souvenirs, and 4 Colombian chicas in Bogota for 6 days /5 nights came to less than $1100 bucks. And you've got EE girls at the Platinum room wanting a thousand for a night. Come on. Avoid at all costs! Unless you want to window shop!

I spent 10 days in SXM and between fishing and sailing did manage to make it to Carolinas, Hypnotik (or whatever it is called now) and Casa Blanca. And while I have been able in the past to work some affordable take out arrangements over 2 nights, where one is the lady's day off, I had zero luck this time. So despite there being a bunch 8's and maybe a 9 if you like EE women. $1000 is just crazy too much for what would be most likely an average session with a hot girl. Of course it is important to understand that the Platinum girls look at themselves mostly as dancers and not working girls. Many people have reported picking up the girls at the Mullet Bay beach during the day time for less money but even here they asked for $500 for one go at it. So remember Platinum is a strip club with take out for the stupid rich.

So if you like the Colombianas you probably will have more than enough for four or five days. Many, many more chicas at the other casas but mostly from DR.

When I returned in March there was a larger selection but mosty different girls. Some likely arrived just after Christmas and many had just arrived, so they said, I guess to replace those who arrived in the Fall.

I be returning to SXM next weekend so I will let you know.

Excellent. Thanks. I like the idea of shoulder season prices on hotels and good weather, while still having a variety of dining options and chicas. Not sure I am only looking for Colombianas, but it sounds like they tend to be the cream of the crop. Good looking, quality girls is my goal. Bottom-Line.

I had read that the chicas visit on 6 month visas, and was not sure if the Colombianas would stay home until after Christmas; making early November questionable. Sounds like there will be enough talent for me to give this trip serious consideration. I might also be able to get to MDE, but the connections make it more like 4 days. So I thought I might try somewhere new where connections allow me to get a ful 5 days.

The slow season is usually when hurricane season rolls in, which is from about May until the end of November. So the high season begins in December and lasts until the end of April. There are quite a few ships in port during the busy season, and the shops also tend to stay open a little later from my experience. I've been in SXM pretty much during all different seasons, and while it seems like the busy season is a great time to come the costs for tickets and for hotels is also reflected. The clubs are more busy, and it does seem like there are more chicas but that also means that you may not get the chica you wanted because she's just so busy. I've seen this with a couple chicas during high season, walk into the club and she's already being talked to and then gets whisked away. Try back later and she's gone for the night. So there are always pros and cons with going during the high season. The island is very busy and traffic can be terrible with traffic to / from the airport. With the low season, you might see a lower number of chicas but you get a little bit more attention and the quality of chicas is still good. Some will say that the hottest girls come during the high season simply because there are more chicas visible during that time, but the low season has good looking chicas as well. They're just not all out in the bar as is normally the case during high season. I have had good experiences no matter how busy or quiet the island is.

This is just my opinion, but unless you have the means and a specific chica that you want to "borrow" from the club for an entire week, my recommendation is to avoid Dec 20-Jan 4. I'll second what Puntz79 already wrote. I'll also add that I've seen time and again vans pulling up to Carolina and leaving with 6-8 chicas. The club is still empty at 7:30, and by 8:30 half the chicas are gone, by 10-11 pm out of 50 chicas there's maybe 8-10 left. There's so many private yachts and private jets on the island, and guess what? The owners. The guests, the crews and the pilots need "relaxation" too. That's in addition to 5-6 cruise ships in port, massive traffic jams during daytime, and other "inconveniences. ".

IMHO, November and early December probably the best time for mongering. It's less hot and humid than in the summer, the prices are still like in the "low" season, all restaurants are back in operation, and there's probably as many chicas as there will be during the holidays.

One last thing: the chicas get Christmas off. I suppose you could take a chica (or 2, or 3) out of the bar for that day, make it a "special" day for her (them.) I've never tried that. I'd imagine there will be many suitors. Every really hot chica from Carolina or Hypnotiq / Seamans seems to have a number of local "friends" already.

The only place I would ever visit over Christmas is SE Asia, specifically Thailand. But A few days after Christmas into the New Year; MDE is the Bomb! SXM Interests me very much, based on my readings in this forum. I may try to pull off a quick trip, in early November, because the connections are perfect and I have the miles. But I read the time to visit is during the cruise season; which coincides with the greatest number of chicas visiting for their 6 month tours. When is this time? Seeing as how many of them come from Colombia and DR, would there be many there that close to Christmas?
