The bottom line: IMHO, save you vacation time and your $$$ until "Mel's army" of Colombian girlfriends gets here, otherwise you might be very disappointed.

I was at St Maarten for a few days just before Earl went there. I agree that maybe St Maarten is a bit overrated as a mongering destination. In my opinion, it falls far behind for example Indonesia. Maybe high season is better.

I went (on foot from Philipsburg) to Seamans, El Capitan & Carolinas. The first two were almost dead. Carolinas had a nice selection of chicas. It is nice to find yourself surrounded by some 30 beautiful or even gorgeous chicas, all eager to be hired. But if you are not a bar type who likes to have lots of drinks at the bar for hours, it is not really a mongering adventure.

On the three nights I was there, I hired Andrea two times. Not gorgeous, but more friendly looking than the others. Other than I expected, the second time was not as good as the first time. Third night was for Catalina, more artificial than Andrea (a lot of nicely done body repair), but also quite nice. Standard procedure, standard rate (3 dollars for the room, 50 for the girl)

They do not keep girls as slaves in the bars I know. carol, seamans, Capitan ,petite. The other two are a possibility.

The two supposedly slave sex workers from DR worked at the brothel in St Eustatius, not St Maarten. They were noticed travelling barefoot on St Maarten airport going back to DR and started their slavery story. The DR consul in St Maarten confirms that they were sent back by the St Eustatius brothel because they were not fit for the job. And though the consul was concerned about DR girls having sex jobs outside the country, the story of ''escape'' was simply not true.

Understandably, even though the girls know the kind of job they are getting into, for some being a prostitute 24/7 may be at bit too much.

4 new chicas started in seamans yesterday (friday.) 2 look like in their 30s, 2 in late 20s. all 4 are taller and thinner than most currently working chicas and are reasonably hot. seaman's chica count in probably up to 20 or slightly more, and getting ready to challenge Carolinas lineup. the good thing about seamans is that the music is not as loud as in other bars, it's actually possible to hold a conversation, and that the chicas are not as aggressive. on the other hand, the multas are higher and they charge $3 for every 20min in the room, even in daytime. i paid $9 for a bit more than 1 hour in daytime.

went to Petit to see VIP show, they said it cost $20. wasn't it only $10 last year? anyway, the "show" was shorter than last year, fewer "performers." they mostly concentrated on the local lesbians who showered them with dollar bills. i might go next friday, or might not. The Petit looks just as hardcore as it did before. the do have some very hot looking tall, dark chicas, but i'm not into that.

Does anyone know about a Petit VIP-like show in El Capitan? Are thy running smth. similar too?

Just came back from SBH, where I stayed a few days.

My first visit was for Carolina's. More or less 25 chicas. For my point of view, many attractive women, event if it's not the best I saw.

After wasting monday due to the hurricane i got a chance to survey all the "usual" places over the last 2 days, and the results are such that i'm considering going home early and preserving (in my case very limited) vacation days. And it has nothing to do with the hurricane, and everything to do with the quality of the chicas. This trip so far has been the most disappointing one.
First off, Michelle bolted outta here quite a few days before her contract was over (according to the other chicas.) So i didn't get a chance to see her, which was my primary reason for coming here. The remaining selection is by far the worst i've seen in sxm. Last night I didn't feel like mongering b/c i didn't have an urge to f**k anyone i've seen in any of the establishments! So far i've talked to at least 20-22 chicas, and not one of them seems to be a TLN material.
Seamans and El Capitan have the fewest # of chicas i've seen in each bar ever. I didn't see any 8s, or even 7s. And, perhaps not even a single solid "6." Most chicas have 2-3 spare tires on them, all look/act bored and i didn't feel any "chemistry" with those I talked to. They stick with high prices, and performances have been terrible. As someone else already pointed out, both El Cap and "new" Seamans look more like a monastery than what "old seamans" and "old defiance" used to be.
Carolina has a much larger chica selection, i'd say at least 30 chicas. Unlike the other 2 places, the bar is always crowded at night. And unlike El Cap, most chicas "only" carry 1.5 spare tires... I guess there are three-four "7s" in Carolina, depending if they're your "type." But if there was a universal scale, i'd not give a "7" to any of them.
I'll try to hit Petit for a "VIP party" Friday night, and maybe will stop by Casa Blanca, although i'm concerned about going there without bodyguards or AK-47.
Maybe i'll even have to do the craziest thing and will have to try to "fish out" some chicas from the overpriced strip-clubs.

The bottom line: IMHO, save you vacation time and your $$$ until "Mel's army" of Colombian girlfriends gets here, otherwise you might be very disappointed.

So, if someone can recommend a good performer for TLN, someone not too tall and not too big, well, i'd appreciate it!
