Well I was able to get out around 1 pm on Sunday. Went to Caroline's. Front parking lot was full but only one DR girl with a big butt and one from Columbia named Eve were there. Just arrived and only needed vaccination card and EHAS pre-approved letter. (plus passport). Had to wait 72 hours before the flight to get approved on the EHAS web site, but one took less then 5 minutes. The other took only 45 minutes to approve. Airport arrival was smooth. As of today you need a test within 72 hours of departure and the form no earlier than 72 hours. Keep an eye on it as it is changing daily.

If you are from a low risk country only proof of vaccine is necessary.

USA is High Risk.

This is only partially correct as it only affects unvaccinated people.

Fully vaccinated people from the USA no longer need a test at all.

Did you have any luck with Ehas, I tried filling the form out but don't think it allows you to submit the form more than 3 days in advance of the arrival date.

So I would leave on a Thursday morning and get there by the afternoon and then leave Sunday afternoon. I would pretty much take your advice and stay in Maho / Simpson beach area and then taxi / uber to the clubs.

I would definitely rent a car. It is dangerous to walk between the clubs in the evening.

Wanted to know if staying only 3 days is still worth the trip? I'm saving my last week of vacation days for Dubai but could still sneak away for a quick 3 day getaway and leave on a Sunday. Once again thank you for the all the replies and recommendations.
