I know this is a very long thread now, but taking some time to go back several years and look at Routard's posts will give you a good indication of how he played the game successfully in St. Maarten. I took a lot of good advice from him and got a good comfort level in the clubs when I first started coming to St. Maarten many years ago. His willingness to share information and insights is why this site has become such a valuable tool, and I can't thank him and others enough for taking time to do so. Those willing to spend some time doing homework on how to successfully play in St. Maarten will find posts from guys like Routard, Mel and others invaluable.

They have a sign up in Casa Blanca stating This.

The chicas do not have time to go to the French side to exchange currency and western union does not take Euros to send money home to Colombia.

As far as non mongering activities go (beach, diving, fishing, site seeing, etc.) we really don't care as we are there 110% to monger. Campo is open 24/7 but it's pretty dead during the day, as are the clubs in SXM unless there is a cruise ship in. This is why I love Del Rey so much in CR, 24/7 action! I can wake up and grab a girl in the lobby to satisfy the morning wood, hit another after breakfast, lunch. I haven't found that convenience at any other destination to date. Perhaps Sosua or Medellin can combine the bargain prices of Campo with the hot girls and 24/7 convenience of Del Rey. We will have a winner for sure!

Island Monger great reports and awesome insight. Especially about the good ol days (any destination). I love SXM but in my opinion 15-20 years ago it was head and shoulders above what it is now, every year getting worse and worse. But for the guys who just started going the past 4 or 5 years they think it's great. Ditto Campo.

But your quote about mongering getting laid with a huge variety of different women, etc. Between campo and SXM Campo still wins hands down. But for me the mongering is only the icing on the cake not the whole cake and I choose SXM over Campo, personally because I go for the beaches, food, cigars, sports gambling, shopping and most importantly I have many really good friends here. Plus the rest of the year I live in a city where the hobby is legal and I get laid like gangbusters 365 days a year. Not bragging but wanted all to know where I am coming from. If there was no mongering on SXM I will still go 6 weeks a year. If I were in pussy prison and needed to get away and be surrounded by tons of women ready to put out 24/7 I'd go to Campo on a budget to Del Rey spending more $.

But years ago with heavy duty getting laid a top priority of min Campo was paradise.

Costa Rica. Still my ATF, stayed at Del Rey both times. Yes it's a bit of a clip joint and Sportsman, Amistad, etc. Are better value hotels that are Chica friendly, but we like to stay in the heart of the action. What I love about Costa Rica and Del Rey in particular, is it's 24/7 action! 9 am, 3 pm, 4 am, you have a huge selection at any hour of the day.

Yes the problem in SXM is that it pays to be able to hang out very late. Me I am constantly looking for daytime action and unles you are in SXM highseason the day action can be weak. Try getting laid walking into any of these clubs cold between May-Nov at 5 PM!

St. Maarten. We hit this place back to back a few years ago, and it's a great destination for our needs. Carolina's and Seamans were the go to joints, but we hit Casa Blanca and a few others also. $50 plus $5-6 for the room for a half hour. Rental car is recommended here. TLN and taking the girls out of the clubs are possible but too expensive for our needs, and we share a hotel room to save cash. Generally here you hit the clubs in the evening (not a 24/7 destination as the girls sleep most of the day unless cruise ships are in) and you take the girls to the rooms in the back. 1/2 hour is the standard and you can do an hour, but rarely anything more in house. Good selection and pricing is great, but when you hit as many different chicas as my friend and I do, Chica politics starts to creep in, and we developed quite a reputation by the end of our trip. Last night at Carolina's I was sitting at the bar and looked around, and I had fucked every girl in the room. When the girls see you back and forth at the same pace as them, they start to get pissed. Don't know why.

For some reason the women in SXM think they own you after you session with them one time. Which is why I try to find a favorite early on in each club. They're the wh0 rez but you are a "jerk" because you went with someone else (affter they banged 7 guys already that day).

Abu Ghazi Schawarma is very good late night food, considering it's also one of the very few places that are open late. They also have another location that is more easily located on Welfare Road. But, whenever I go to that one its a lot more disorganized and I have seen my order missed on more than one occasion. The small location on the corner of Arch Rd. And AT Illidge is better for fast service. Any other late night recommendations?

Maybe it's just a coincidence but I almost always seem to have good service from Seaman's / Hypnotic chicas that are in rooms 201 and 204.

Also agree that in the last year of going to SXM (I've been there like 5 times. Maybe 6. I should really know this.) I have only heard the knock on the door once, at Seaman's / Hypnotic and had a roommate knock on the door at Carolina's.

I must have bad luck (and partially good luck). I have had the door knock several times. Plus one time (look at some old report) I had the roommate come in and change for a TLN. I think your taking my report the wrong way. I love SXM (wish I was in Carolina's right now) and we have already made a repeat visit which for me and my friend, says a lot. I had an absolute blast and any criticism is simply "knit picking. " It's an amazing destination, girls are gorgeous and half the price of CR. Up until our recent visit to Campo, it was our "go to" destination which all other visits were compared to.

Overall I just liked the Campo experience a little better, I felt the girls were more laid back, and for less than $30 a pop for Columbianas, pricing is even cheaper than SXM, which is pretty amazing. After our Campo trip next week I might feel differently, but God I hope not.

This will make 2 trips a piece for CR, SXM, and now Caracao, and given we like to try different destinations, we will likely try something different next year, most likely Medellin. I'm not out to paint a bad picture of SXM or any destination, simply share our experiences and what we liked and didn't like. Of all the places we have been, we would highly recommend Costa Rica, SXM and Curaao over others on our list. Regardless, I have never returned from a mongering trip and said "that sucked" or "what a shitty time we had", even my worst experiences have been fun.

Whenever I start to feel guilty about all the money I have blown on mongering trips, how I could have bought a new TV with that money or a new car, put it on the mortgage or whatever, I laugh and remind myself it's the best money I ever spent. The experiences I have had, the memories I have taken, the places we have traveled, and the fine ass pussy we have fucked, it's priceless. We grind it out and live for the future all year long, but for a few days each year, we actually live for the moment and just enjoy ourselves. Just don't get caught because alimony payments are a *****!
