As for El Capitan and what you perceived, the club is big into partnering with local radio stations and with the new outdoor bar, and Sunday being the slowest day of the week, the club tends to have outdoor / indoor parties in the courtyard. You have to park in the lot to the left of the club, where there's some junk yard or automotive joint. They block the courtyard off and set up tents for food and usually have a DJ kiddie corner in the parking lot. It's open to all, and a festive environment.

Have you noticed any safety upgrades to our common place of stay? Enjoy the rest of your trip and have a couple of cold ones at the Dingy Bar, and many hot Colombianas at the casas for me!

The rooms are all poured concrete. Even the beds are concrete with a good mattres on it. They share a bathroom. The doritory for the chicas on the secon floor is the same.

I am friends with the owner and he was always saying I would be the first Customer. The day before I left the island the clubs license was not complete. The owner said go to one of his other clubs and pick a chica and bring her back. That club was officially christened by me in room #5.

The Old seamans used to be called the Japanese Club since the Japanese Tuna Fisherman used to go there before the tourist influx in the early 60's. It had a real old time Who** house flavor and was always my favorite spot.

El Capitan, is the site of the original Seaman's. Always worth a visit when I'm on the island, however. I play the fish, since it's a Dominicana feeding frenzy. The outdoor area is nice and parking is safe. The inside of the club is nothing like the original Seaman's. It's actually quite dark during the day. Chicas are aggressive, and I've never found one to my liking. I've played the game and then wandered to the outside bar and sat and had normal conversations with chicas on the benches during the daytime. I've not seen the rooms, but have heard good things about the renovation of the club. For the senior members, this club is a trip down memory lane. I miss the dusty parking lot! LOL! I usually include this venue during my daytime cruise between Carolina's and Hypnotique since it's a drive-by. Bartender is usually friendly and if you can deal with the aggressiveness of the chicas and hold your turf, you can have some fun inside. The chicas will recognize if you are in the know. If you're a newbie, you're fair game. Hold your turf and you'll be a wallflower, as word will get out your not as an easy mark. Lots of locals drop in, but everyone is cool. Definitely worth a look since it's right smack in the middle of the SuckerGarden region.
