Has Casa Blanca reopened?

I was hoping to pay a visit my last time in SXM but never made it. When I return in a few weeks I might give it a try if it's open. Stopped in last year just for a bit of recon and it did look somewhat promising with some nice Dominican chicas.

I am sure you already know, but your girl Tamara is still there and should be there when you are on the island. Have a great time!

Just curious on currency. More favorable to use Dutch Guilders, USD, or doesn't really matter? I always wondered when I stayed on the French side I was disadvantaged by the conversion rate USD. EURO at the time. Any thoughts on this one?

You will like Princess Heights. One of the nicer properties I have stayed at but they have gotten a lot more expensive since I last visited. The rooms are very nice and would impress any date that you bring back.

4 Days in SXM January 21-24. I will be writing an abbreviated version of my trip since a lot of the girls were repeated. If you want to know my ratings for each, please search my previous reports.

THU: I landed at 4 pm got my car and headed straight to Hypnotic. No girls in the bar but many congregated in the parking lot and restaurant. I made contact with Tamara from my trip in October and she recognized me as well. We exchanged pleasantries and I decided to take the plunge. Great BBBJ to start a pretty solid sessions. Tamara is a one of the more popular girls and very friendly. She told me she will be here till March. In the evening I went back to Hypnotic to see the full lineup. There were about 20 girls. Tamara greeted me and told me that there were a lot new girls that arrived since October. She then introduced me to Amanda. Tall, slender with jet black hair. A distinguishing characteristic is she also had an upper lip stud. We chatted and she was very affectionate the whole time. After a drink and some small talk, I decided to go with her. For a first session, she was top notch. BBBJ, multiple positions and she even let me finish in her mouth! After that, I knew I had to do a few more sessions with her. The funny thing is that she generally is not the type of girl I go with. She had smaller boobs, a lot of tatoos all over her body and I am not a big fan of the lip stud. However, her service and passion more than made up for these minor flaws.

FRI: Woke up and went back to Hypnotic. Met up with Amanda and had another great session. Hit the beach for the rest of the afternoon. Returned to Hypnotic and had a drink with Amanda. I had my eye on this petite little stunner who looked quite young. Amanda was nice enough to introduce me to her. Her name is Angel (it was quite fitting considering she had an angelic face) and she was only 21, no kids. She told me she is just working to put herself through school. She had only been on the island for 4 days. So after a drink, off to the room. The session was a little generic. CBJ a few positions and I had to really try to make myself finish. She was nice, but a little inexperienced in the service dept.

Saturday: Went to Carolinas and sessioned with Marianna. During her siesta, I took her for dinner. Over the last few visits, we have become pretty good friends. She told me it has been rather slow of late which surprised me given that it was considered high season. If I had fathom a guess, it's the strong USD and a weak Canadian dollar, which has hurt travel from the north. I know personally, the expenses for this vacation was more costly due to the poor FX rate. In the evening I passed by El Capt and Crystals. Neither had anything I really liked. El Capt is mainly aggressive Dominicans and Crystals is a mix of both DR and Colombians, but a little older and thicker. I also checked out Bada Bing and Platinium Room. Bada Bing is mainly Dominicans from what I can tell. If you compare with El Capt, the quality is definitely higher but the premium you pay, is not worth it. Platinum Room had about 15-20 Russians. A lot of smoke shows, but I just looked, didn't go to the back room.

Sunday: I sessioned one more time with Amanda and then headed home.

Some observations from this trip:

1) Hypnotic and Burger King has the best free wifi I encountered on the island.

2) Carolina's had very few women. I counted only 12 the two times I went. Marianna told me that there were only 15 girls working! That is a very low number for January. Perhaps the Visa issue has some traction to it. Mel, if you have any inside info from the owners, please share.

3) Carolina's also had a very weak lineup. Out of the 12 girls I saw, maybe 3 were worth taking a session with. This is a disturbing trend. Hope they get some new girls. After reading some of the Curacao thread, perhaps all the top Colombians are at Campo. I do know that most girls have expressed they prefer working there, given the more relaxed atmosphere and better rooming situation.

Thank you for sharing your experience at Defiance. With the age old problem of "so many women and so little time" I wanted to see if devoting time to clubs other than my favorites, Carolinas & Hypnotic, would be a good use of that time. If I start to run low on "my type" of ladies at my favorite clubs I may check out Defiance based on your recommendation.

We met over beers at the Dinghy Bar at Captain O's I believe. And we usually stay at our favorite spot in Oyster Pond! Have a great trip! I've been getting the itch, but have actually met a pretty hot Brazilian girl here in the states, so the need to head south is on hold right now. Getting to your question. The last few trips to SXM I've been disappointed in Defiance. This used to be one of my favorite clubs, but every afternoon that I stopped by, there were maybe 2 or 3 girls, tops hanging out in the bar, and with cell phones in hand, once I showed no interest, they buried themselves back into textland. And the talent level seems to have dropped off a bit from the past.

Because of my disappointment in the afternoons, I haven't been there at night in quite a few visits. In the past, you'd see some great chicas in casual attire in the afternoon, and then get the lingerie / bedroom look at night. With nothing much being offered up in the afternoon, I kind of wrote the club off for any nighttime possibilities. However, here's my past experience.

The club attracts a lot of locals, due to it's location being set back up the hill from Suckergarden. There's obviously only one way in and out, under the arch. But in all the times I've visited the club at night, I never had any problem in the parking lot, and felt totally safe. In fact I'd usually pound a couple of Presidentes in the parking lot before heading in. The only problem is if the place is hopping, parking can get tight. And there was an incident a few years back, where some local guy went nuts, and wrecked cars in the parking lot on his way out to kill his girlfriend in Dutch Quarter. But again, a totally isolated incident. Obviously anything can happen anywhere at anytime, so try to park as close to the entrance as you can and just keep an eye out for whoever is hanging out. There is an outdoor BBQ across the street from the club and that little sitting area near the entrance and sometimes there might be some guys hanging out, but for the most part they are just chilling.

So check out Defiance in the afternoon, see what's around. Ask how many chicas are there. If only 2 are out and 20 are sleeping, then it's definitely worth a nighttime look since they must be dead tired from the previous evening. If 3 are out and 6 are in the stable, then not worth the night visit.

Also, check out Sunset Retreat around 4 pm For the happy hour with great Latin music. You can do an afternoon test drive, or tee something up for later at night, after 10 pm Don't let the parking lot and the long walk up the stairs spook you. There's a security guy up top. And just be careful crossing the road with the traffic. You'll be fine at Sunset at night. And it's old school. The chicas aren't aggressive at all. They sit in chairs along the wall and wait for you to be the gentleman to approach them. And hey, there's always Casa Blanca as well!

Heading back to Sint Maarten in a couple of weeks. I typically split my time between Carolinas & Hypnotic as they typically have the greatest number of Columbian ladies.

This trip I am debating whether or not to devote some time to exploring other clubs. I was wondering if any one has been to Defiance lately. I have not been there in a few years. If so is there much Columbian action to be had there? Also curious about night time safety for a solo visit. Last time I was there the parking lot was a bit scary as I recall. It was not well lit and had to park at the opposite end to the club entrance.

Any recent info would be appreciated.

The dollar is the way to go on the Dutch side. If there is an attendant at a gas pump on the Dutch side just use your calculator on your phone to make sure you are not getting ripped off.

The top clubs, (Carolina's and Hypnotique and El Capitan), are probably only a 15 minute drive from that hotel. But, and here's the big but. The road at night can be a bit challenging. During the day, you'll have no problems. But although paved, and lit in certain stretches, it's fairly windy and not super wide. There are drainage ditches where the shoulder should be that are a good three and a half feet deep, concrete lined that drop off the road. If you were to drift off a bit, you'd be screwed. Hung off the road with most likely a broken front axle and serious rental car damage.

I have to agree with you on dangerous road. While I haven't made the drive 100's of times I have made several night time drives and that ditch is scary. Maybe it's because the first time I made the drive at night a car coming towards me was driving more in the middle of the road. I moved over a bit to give him some room and suddenly realized that large ditch was right where I was going. Unless you are really aware of that it is there, it is really hard to see. Fortunately I saw it in time to correct my path but ever since then I am extra aware that it is there. Probably to the point that I am over concerned but it's a whole lot better than being too casual about it.

I must have driven between Casa Blanca and suckergarten (carolinas etc) at least 100 times.

I have also driven this stretch roads 100 times and agree with the Mel.

I would add, however, there are at least 2 sharp turns at the bottom of hills going from Suckergarten towards Oyster Pond that are trouble when it rains heavily. They are prime spots to hydroplane if you are not careful. I know because I had a local that was following me and she went right off the road. She was going the speed limit but braked in the turn instead of before the turn.

So follow Mel's advice of driving the speed limit and keep your eyes sharp when it rains.
