St. Maarten (The southern Dutch side)

Thanks to all for the assistance in helping me find the clubs. I was out touring the island today and drove by while I was in the area. To be perfectly honest, the places kinda spooked me. They look pretty run-down and I wonder if I will be sorry I even went there. I am sure there are some lovelies in there, but wonder if I will be sorry I went inside. Can someone help me understand what it is like inside the bar and the rooms. I am quite selective with where I shag. And since I am heading to MDE for a week after I leave here, I wonder if I should just save my pesos, and leche, for the MDE Beauties that will visit me at my cozy and safe apartment.

Heding to the shower. Hope someone can share some insight or I might just hit the strip joint instead.

I hope you weren't expecting luxury. That particular section of St Maarten and Suckergarden Road is kinda beat up and is not at all a tourist attraction other than the clubs and the chicas. Depending on the time you were touring, the girls could have been napping in the afternoon.

Also depending on the number of cruise ships in port, you may hit a club that is packed in the early afternoon (11 am-3 pm kinda). On a day when there are few or zero cruise ships. The chicas will probably not be working and instead will be shopping or sleeping or touring the island. The club might be open but it will be lifeless and not fun.

As much I have the money and freedom to travel on my own, my work and current place in life requires me to not travel until 2017 or 2018, so I leave St Maarten's Colombianas in the hands of this thread's posters.

Go an have an adventure. Keep your eyes out for potential problems.

Don't drink too much. Don't drink and drive. Don't walk to the clubs at night.

Say Hello, to everyone and be confident. Don't be scared by the guys hanging around the outside / doors of the clubs.

Learn a bit of Spanish. I like making a connection of some sort, and speaking the chica's language is an easy way to make that happen. Just about all the chicas made it clear verbally or with body language that they were more interested in me after I began conversing with them in Spanish.

Don't be an asshole to the girls. Be nice. I took the gentleman route and tried to compliment them & joke with them. I didn't immediately tried to grab ass or grind on them. I did that later after we had a good rapport. With the ones that I didn't find that attractive, I at least tried to be polite. If you hang around the club enough, the chicas will talk to each other about you. Hopefully they will say nice things about you.

Tip the bartender. They don't have an easy job and they will certainly remember you. Don't be cheap in the bar-area and instead be generous if you can afford it. Buy the girl her & maybe her friend drinks. Don't be obvious & make yourself a human ATM-machine, but give tips. $5 is pocket change for most of us. It is stupid easy to blow $10 on Starbucks, cigarettes, or fast food. $5 to them is like $75 to us.

Bring your own preferred rubbers. Maybe a variety pack from Trojan. Different friction, texture, etc. Makes it different for you & her. Variety is the spice of life, you know.

Be recently showered. I know its hard for married guys or guys coming from the cruise ships, but if you can, shower just before going to the club. I use cologne & got a bunch of favorable comments in English and Spanish about smelling good. I got the feeling that plenty of grimy & sweaty guys visit the chicas with no regard to their hygiene. Back in her room, when getting ready for action, I would always ask to use the bathroom & washed my crotch. Again I received favorable comments about being clean.

Have fun while no one is watching. Since I did this trip solo & don't know anyone else in the club, I jumped at the opportunity to become someone else for a couple hours. As an example: I am self conscious & know I don't have good dance moves, but I didn't let that stop me from having a good time at the bar dancing with the chicas. If you can dance, well then, expect to get eager dance partners.

Rent a car. Get the maximum damage insurance. If new to SXM, get a GPS or use a smartphone. Use Google Earth & Google maps. If unsure, take a taxi the first time out.

Be local. I found it to my advantage to stay at a hotel on the Dutch side and be kinda close to the clubs. It made driving at night to get back to the hotel very easy.

You shouldn't have a problem. Once you get in you likely will be greeted by at least one, if not two or three Colombianas and you will forget your concerns. Just enjoy.

And don't forget to give us a report!

First video is short. It is the drive from El Captian to Hypnotic (I hope that is the official name) formerly known as Seamans. At the end of the video. You'll see where you walk in for daytime delight.

Second video is the drive from Hypnotic / Seamans to Sugar Picker's circle downtown. The drive goes past El Capitan then over to Carolina & Crystal, then onto Petite Chateau (typo on name in video) and then ending at the circle by downtown. This drive is the opposite direction I took from my post last year. I hope this is helpful to ones that have never been to the island.

The last video starts just before Arch Rd -- which is the road you take if you go from Carolina to El Captian) The drive takes you past Defiance (about a 4 minute drive from El Captian) and continuing on to Casa Blanca which is another couple minutes up the road. You'll also note passing Sunset Retreat which no longer has a sign on top. This time the video shows Casa Blanca better and I actually drive up the driveway. Looks like they are adding onto the place.

WOW. Tremendous thanks. Have a rental car for a few days and plan to go at least one of the days. I seem to have even seen video directions and what each club looked like from the outside, but have NO idea where I saw that.

How was the level of talent?

Not sure how long you're going to be on island. But during quiet time. 4 to 8 pm Sunset Retreat has a (at least they used to) happy hour in the side bar with a DJ spinning great Latin tunes. It's a local crowd, with the chicas sitting around in chairs. It's a great way to check out the talent and you can even grab one and give her a twirl on the floor! You may feel out of place, but everyone is cool, and they actually get a kick out of a new face that has made the walk up the side hill. Beers are 2 bucks. Totally relaxed atmosphere, again with some great music. Suppose you could take the chica back to her room if you really connected. Seemed to me this was their chilling time, before another quick nap, and then getting ready to come out into the club at 10 pm It will be light out and you can park in the lot across the street and just walk up the steep hill on your right. You'll probably hear the music. It's off the beaten path, but I've pounded some serious beers here and had a blast lighting up the dance floor with some cute Latinas! Again, you may feel a bit out of place, but if you don't act like a jerk, you'll be warmly accepted.

Excellent post. I, too, have had some really fun times there mixing it up with the chicas. The "happy hour" is a great time to go to avoid the spookiness of the parking situation at night. A mix of DR and Colombian girls. You can have fun in all the clubs. Just have to venture out a little farther, carry a bit more alpha dog attitude to deal with the DR chicas, and approach, approach, approach. Good things follow.

Just an update on the visa situation. I can confirm first-hand that Columbians do not require a visa to enter St Martin. They only require proof of a return flight and proof of where they are staying on the island.
