St. Maarten (The southern Dutch side)

Part of that last post got hyperspaced. Here is my ranking of the clubs in terms of looks: El Capitan, Hypnotic, Crystal, Carolina's, Petite Chateau, Casablanca, Sunset Retreat and. Defiance. I had great experiences at Defiance in the past, but it has plunged to the bottom. The best crop of DR girls in my memory. Younger, more energetic, more GFE-like. Smaller framed DR women in many clubs. But still have an alpha dog mindset if you are going to score them. The Colombian girls are always fantastic. This year's surprises: El Capitan heads above the other clubs in looks, personality and energy. Petite Chateau is now a "must go" club. And the DR women won me over this year.

Next year will be the same approach. Sample the clubs and just go with the flow. Good things happen after that. I have no doubt there will be surprises next year.

The Clubs: My favorite layouts of the clubs would be Sunset Retreat, El Capitan, Hypnotic, Casablanca, Crystal, Petite Chateau, Carolina's and Defiance in that order. Unfortunately, when the bar is crowded, Carolina's is difficult to get to the bar, and difficult to mingle with chicas. By far, the busiest club with the most girls. The best atmosphere with the chicas energetic was El Capitan-no close second.

Room charges / Take out: typically $50 US for 20 minutes, but often 30. $100/ HR. Small room key fee. TLN rates vary, but the girls are asking $400. That is way higher than before. But it is still negotiable and you should negotiate. I had good communication with Veronica and we worked out things that were not typical. Bar fines vary by club. El Capitan was $140 for night takeout, and $70 for daytime. It is my understanding that Petite Chateau does not charge a bar fine, but takes a cut from the chica.

Communication: My Spanish gets better every year, but not good enough to get into deeper conversation. DR Spanish is especially fast, while the Colombians are slower paced. But everyone there seems to be using WhatsApp, a free download on your cell phone that allows free calls, messaging and transfer of pictures. Just need wifi or data plan to get internet access. Google Translate is a great tool to translate English to Spanish or vice versa. All the clubs have wifi now, and all the chicas have smartphones. So communication is so much easier now. I put this to great use last week. Most of the chicas give you their phone numbers and you can message them at any time during the day or evening.

Cruise Ship Schedule: Take advantage of www.portofstmaarten.com to track the cruise ship schedule. It is a great tool for gauging traffic and club traffic on any given day. For sure, Thursdays are the busiest cruise ship days. I have been in St. Maarten when there were 6 in port in one day. This year, 4.

General Observations: Island got a lot of visitors starting Friday. It appears the busy season is starting. Getting around during rush hours is still slow. But club hours are such that you rarely need to worry, unless you are returning a chica from a TLN or day takeout. The bridge to nowhere by the airport gets you to Marigot in minutes from Simpson Bay. A good place to hang for lunch and local beaches. The trash strike on the French side had crippled traffic on Wed, but is now resolved. The workers had pushed trash bins into the streets to make it impossible to penetrate the only road toward Grand Case. Weather is always very good this time of year. Disappointed with the night life apart from the clubs. Philipsburg has nothing in the evening except a couple casinos. In Simpson Bay, some popular night spots with music are now closed. The Coconut Grove next to Pineapple's is now closed for good. This used to have great Latin dance music and many chicas used to go there to dance. The houka bar that was on top the building that has the grocery store is also closed. It had great DJ / disco, but is gone now. Maho seems to be the only place for some spirited night life.

I hate leaving every year, and I think of St. Maarten all year long. It is such a fun playground in the clubs. Be bold, friendly, approachable and good things come at all the clubs.

The one thing that is universal. Women are women. And at these clubs, if you have a great session with one of the chicas, or come back for another, the other girls view you as "off limits". That is why playing at all the clubs is important. Don't crap in your kitchen if you want to continue to eat at the table. So I make it into the bar and greeted by her close amigas, who look fabulous. A few minutes later, Veronica is draped over me and shortly thereafter, she is changed and ready to head out. Her attitude has improved, and she is full of energy again. She asks to go back to EC for one beer and to say Hello, to her former clubmates. It is a lovefest when she arrives. The girls are hugging like she had been away for a year, but the energy at EC went up a number of notches. The club was not very busy, so the girls start dancing with each other and on the pole. It was fun to watch. And despite the exit of three beauties from this club, there are plenty left. We left and grabbed a pizza at an outdoor seating place in Simpson Bay and listened to some relaxing music. Then, we played on the beach and had a nice final night together. I had her back at 9:00 am, said goodbyes, and headed back to NY.

Girls have to be back at 9:00 am at PC. That sucks. But I dropped her off on time and told her I would see her later that night.

I skipped the afternoon sessions to hang with my amigo. But come evening time, I was definitely heading to Casablanca and Sunset Retreat to check things out there. Arrived at Casablanca around 8:30 pm. You get here by hugging the road to the right as you come down the hill on the main road past Defiance. Street sign on the road by a white wall you follow a steep driveway to the top. This is a great bar area. About 8-10 decent looking DR girls sitting around as I walk in. A couple of patrons. I said Hello, to the girls as I walked in and was immediately approached by Rosa, a caramel skinned, curvy and sexy woman, probably 35 +/ She had just arrived on Friday and was very talkative with good English. I was here to scout, not drill, but I got a lot of good info. Club is open 6 pm to 6 am. No bar fee, no time limit in the room. Rosa is a sweet, meaty woman and I would not have hesitated to take her to the room if I was not going to see Veronica again this night. But I was.

Bought Rosa a drink and gave her $20 for the time spent with me at the bar. Her occupying my time while I checked out the other chicas, info on the club, and just a fun 30 minutes was worth the tip. Certainly not required. Left Casablanca and stopped in at Sunset Retreat, whiThch is a short way before you get to Casablanca. I really like the feel of this club. The bar is spacious, yet cozy. Nice bar area. Dance pole and plenty of comfy seating around the club. The problem is its remoteness and parking that is not lit. There is a road that branches off to the right at the club. You can park there and it is well lit. But you have to access the club from the main road with a sliver of sidewalk to take you to the main entrance. There used to be an entrance on the side road, but nothing there this time. Perhaps only open when the small bar is open 4-7. The main parking lot is across the road, unpaved, unlit and remote. As a single, I am hesitant to park there, but early evening a little less concern. I do not know if they have had trouble there in the parking lot, but I do not take that kind of chance.

Inside, several decent looking girls. Maybe 10 or so. I went to the bar and introduced myself to Queen, a dark skinned DR woman with some English. Attractive face, with some junk in the trunk. Spent a short while checking out the scene here and headed to PC. Later, it dawned on me that it was the same Queen I met at Casablanca a couple of years ago. I had a thunderous session with her back then, and my review is posted around the same dates in 2013 for those who want to know about her. Bring your alpha dog attitude with you if you want to do her and most of the DR girls.

Left Sunset and headed over to PC. I walk in and all the girls are saying "Veronica".

After a nice breakfast with Veronica, I had to get her back to El Capitan by noon. My amigo decided to get in the game, and came with me to see Jessica after I had told him how totally hot she was. I thought he was going to blow a load just seeing her. Then the drama hit. Veronica, Jessica, Martine and another amiga, Amber, were all told that they had to transfer to Petite Chateau. Apparently, that was the club they had been contracted to when they first arrived last month, but had somehow been able to switch to El Capitan after complaining about how slow PC had been. They were all happy at EC, but now frowning and crying over the transfer back. They all had to be packed and moved by evening opening at PC, which is 8:00 pm.

Veronica and I had already planned a beach day, so I arrived at EC with expectation of paying the afternoon bar fine ($70). Veronica still wanted to go after getting the bad news, but I was somewhat hesitant given I now had a woman who was not happy. But I thought with the wrong head, and off we go. I dropped my amigo back at the hotel and told him he would have to have Jessica at PC later that evening. Jessica wanted $500 to come out with us for the afternoon-which got a quick "no thanks". Are you kidding me. Her loss for being greedy.

Veronica and I headed to Friar's Bay on the French side. It is a short drive now from Simpson Bay now that the bridge to nowhere is finished. The Friar's Bay Beach Club has rebuilt after last year's storm, and is a great place to hang out. Really nice, calm beach overlooking Anguilla. Excellent food and drinks. If you eat there, you can get an umbrella and two chaises for $10. You can also walk a coastal trail from here to the best beach on the island, Happy Bay beach, which is clothing optional and rarely more than a few people. Got back to the hotel, showered, and headed off to EC to get Veronica ready for the move. She had to be back by 6:30 pm. The day was about what I expected, but I had a decent time nonetheless.

Back to the hotel where my amigo was anxiously waiting to score Jessica, now at PC. So off we went at about 8:30 pm. Arrived to find few patrons and many girls. I have never liked this club for the selection of women. But there were quite a few very decent women here. With the addition of Veronica, Jessica and Martine, this club is now a "must go" in my opinion. PC is across from the stadium on the road from Philipsburg to Carolina's. The road is now well lit. The PC parking lot is now paved and lit. You walk into the club seeing a pool table, some chicas hanging around and think "this is it? No. There are doors on the back wall that take you into a huge bar area. Tons of bar seating and good music where the other chicas are scattered about. The usual $2 beers and $5 drinks, no room key fee. My amigo took Jessica back for the spin he had been waiting for. He tells me that she wanted $60 for the room, and was on a strict 20 min time schedule. She was okay, but said her youth showed and her greed was a turnoff. But her body was awesome. We will see how she does with her higher fee demands. I would not bet on a good outcome. Meanwhile, I hung at the bar with Veronica and her amigas. Later, I would take Veronica back to the hotel again.

After Wednesday's big adventure, I chose not to engage the crowds at the clubs on Thursday afternoon due to heavy cruise ship schedule. Four ships in, including Freedom of the Seas, and suddenly 10,000 more people combing the island. So I went off to other things. Thursday night I managed to get a second wind and planned to hit Casablanca and Sunset Retreat to see what was happening at those clubs. As I was driving toward Suckergarden heading to those clubs, my steering wheel yanked me left into El Capitan parking lot. I had to have another session with Veronica, and it was again awesome. This woman is simply fun and fabulous, so I decided to take her back to the hotel.

El Capitan has a great group of girls and many are real lookers. Veronica introduced me to two of her amigas, Jessica and Martine, both were very beautiful. The three are in their early 20's with beautiful faces and bodies. Jessica's smile will melt you. Martine has a school girl look with glasses and speaks decent English. If I had not met Veronica first, either of these two girls would have been my immediate targets. What struck me about this group at El Capitan is how well all of the girls mingled and played together-often dancing with each other and having a good time. The atmosphere here was terrific.

I never made it to another club this evening.

I am new to this island and will have 3 days to kill after a sailing trip in early December. I have been reading the reports and the club names but have been unable to locate any of them on a map or online? Can someone tell me where exactly they are located? Ie Hynotique and Carolinas? I want to book a reasonable hotel room close to as many as possible?

Hate to be the fist one to say it but RTFF a bit more. In the reports of distinction area some members have gone through a lot of work to provide this information.

Sounds like you had a great time! Just something I tend to notice as well on my trips / visits is that they use a lot of theatrical plays to get more money out of unsuspecting people. It's almost like a bait and switch in marketing. You get one price but the owner gives you another one because he didn't "like" the original offer. Just be careful and look out for those next time. If it happens again and again then definitely its the bait and switch they are using to get more money out of you.

Maybe I'm lucky but I've never had any real issues with up-selling on SXM. I think if you take the time to get to know the chica a bit before you commit to taking her to the room you shouldn't have any issues unless you are expecting something really out of the ordinary. There are exceptions, of course, and some have been documented on this board in some reports but if get things sorted out before there probably won't be any surprises. If you are able to speak even a little Spanish it will help.

As for my deal last week it really had nothing to do with upselling by the chica or the owner. Just a procedural issue. No biggie. Here the casa gets their bar fine which you pay directly to the casa and whatever you negotiate with the chica you pay her separately.

On the island for a few more days (until Saturday) and because of "group" plans, am only get to Philipsburg late morning / very early afternoon time frame (11:00 am - 1:00 pm). Anyone have any good options for an early visit? Tried this early hour at Defiance last year and it was dead (girls were all still napping) then settled on Carolinas for some fun, as two places close to each other (Seamens and El Capitain?) were closed. Is Carolinas still the best shot at this hour or is there another good spot? Any help would be appreciated. Sculptor69.

From what I understand the chicas at Carolinas and Hypnotique (Seamans) are pretty much required to be available between 11:00 and 4:00 if they are not going with someone for the day. If there are no cruise ships in port the places might seem pretty dead but there should be a good selection. If there are ships in you likely will find many chicas in the bar if they are not occupied already.

Last Tuesday at Hypnotique there were several girls getting ready to start work at 11.

Things have to improve today. Now we have a refreshed and recharged Barkey ready to get back to Plan A or whatever comes our way. Today a calm, relaxing day at the beach. Other than being hunkered down under a beach umbrella for about an hour and a half while a strong storm passed, all went well. Nighttime is coming and now we are ready to roll.

First stop will be Hypnotique in search of Manuella or, at this point, just about any warm body that wanders by. I enter the bar and things are much more normal looking. Several chicas and hardly any customers. As I approach the bar Lionel recognizes me and quickly my Coors Light is in front of me. About as soon as I sat down I heard a loud, happy scream coming from the dark corner sofas. I quickly turned around to observe the action and BAM. My right elbow made heavy contact with, well. A nice firm boob. I turned around to see who I had damaged and found an absolutely beautiful chica with long black hair and an astonished look on her face. Being the gentleman I am, of course, I apologized and offered her a drink to make up for any damage I may have caused. She was now laughing about what happened and accepted my invitation. He first drink was a Red Bull with vodka. Nice way to get going. Say Hello, to Tamara a great looking girl from Medellin. She looked amazing. Petite, dressed in an exotic tight black dress with diamond like accents. I think I just found my novia for tonight.

We chatted for quite a while as her drinks changed to Myers rum mixed with something and I cautiously continued with my beers. While Tamara looked so fresh and innocent she is a veteran of Aruba and Campo. I believe she said this was her first visit to SXM but not sure. She said she arrived five days ago and will be here until April. Good to know. We continued to get to know each other a little bet better then it was off to her room. From what I could tell from her looks and her conversation I was going for a good session. Well. Not good but amazingly great. Far more than I could ever expect for our first get together. We extended our time in the room for a while and then returned to the bar for more drinks and conversation...

Sorry I couldn't get back to you sooner. Dolly is not at Hypnotic now and I didn't see her at Carolina's either. Too bad. I would have liked to get together with her. Last year I didn't have the pleasure of getting to know Vanessa and I don't really know her face. I asked one chica at Carolina's if there was a Vanessa there. Her non-answer might have given a clue that someone with that name was there but if it is the same one I wouldn't know. Personally I was hoping to find Lucy or Adriana from Hypnotiqe but they were not around either.

Lots of new talent arriving so maybe they might show up a little later. Who knows.
