I am glad you had a fun time on the friendly island. However, a word to the wise is usually sufficient. It is very unwise to walk away from Carolinas and walk over to Hypnotic / seamans. A number of fellow mongers have been attacked and one stabbed on that route. In front of every club are usually a few locals willing to drive you to the next club. Walking all the way to Petite from Carolinas is just asking to be mugged.

What you say reminds me of a friend saying that his father smoked 5 packs of cigarettes a day and did not die of cancer.

I would not recommend you do it again. Rent a car it is usually 25-30 dollars a day.

My new amigos drop me off and I go to bed thinking about that awesome session at Hypnotic. The next day, I decide to get a workout before I left the island so I walk down by Chateau hoping I see the curvy girl but only one girl was around. The Rihanna girl then came out to get something to eat so then I walked off to Carolines. The were quite a few girls out as one approached me but I declined. Then I saw the cute brown skin girl from the previous night. A guy volunteered to translate for me and she and I went to the back. I had a great time during my trip to St Maarten last week. Now let me give you an idea of the type of guy that I am, curious. I was warned by a number of people not to go off walking around at night by myself in some areas because of the potential of being robbed. I do take warnings like this seriously but I am not the type of guy to put myself in a situation without being prepared. With that being said, if I didn't go off and walk around, I would not have had such a fun time.

My first stop was Caroline's as a cab drove me there. I was staying not to far from that area. The driver agreed to come back for me in an hour but that didn't happen due to me losing track of time. Carolines was filled with over 10 girls and the choices were mostly nice. There were about 3 girls that caught my eye instantly, one short light skinned gorgeous girl with glasses, another tall leggy pretty girl, and a enhanced brown skinned girl with retainers in her mouth. I eventually picked the latter but not that night, instead I had her the next day. Carols was packed but I was uninterested in the 2 girls who approached me. I've gone down this path before. But this hits home for me since I stay in the quiet, quaint, tranquil hamlet of Oyster Pond. Appears a Swedish couple was out for a walk around 10:15 pm car pulls in front of them. Guy jumps out. Bam, they get robbed. 10:15 pm, especially in beautiful Oyster Pond,. It's not too late to be out, and hell enjoying a walk in the tropics vs. The cold of Sweden? This sucks and my heart goes out to these folks. For all visitors that have a genuine interest in the day to day goings on in the island, I suggest you check out dailyherald.com or todaysxm.com. You will get a real sense of the daily crime activity occurring. Someone once admonished me here and told me to lighten up. This is real stuff happening daily. Sure it happens in the states daily, but don't we want to run away from this bullshit to a kindler / gentler place? And then this happens. This really pisses me off about the shit going on with robberies, burglaries, and so forth that stain the beauty of the island we so much enjoy. Keep your guard up at all times. Not trying to be an alarmist here, but anyway whoever's been to Oyster Pond, knows it's like a mini-French Riviera. And it's sort of a dead spot on the island. Dutch police won't cross the border and the Gendarmane's are over in Orleans. However, some stay at the Columbus Hotel, next to Captain Oliver's. Sure shit can happen anywhere, but it sucks for this couple and my heart goes out to them.

On another note. Go into youtube and do a search on St. Maarten fireworks captured via a drone. Seems as if some guy on a sailboat anchored in Great Bay had a drone and he had the thing aloft New Years Eve for the fireworks. Pretty interesting video.

In all my trips to SXM, I think I've been to Platinum once. Just when they opened for the evening, and I didn't feel like hanging around to the wee hours or at least for a couple of hours for things to get hopping. As I said before, I'm guessing the Maho / Simpson clubs cater to the husband, or 2 husbands travelling together with wives, that want to duck out after a night of dinner, casino and drinks. Nothing like telling the misses you're going down for a night cap with your buddy at the hotel bar, and then sprinting over to Platinum, paying a cover, buying a few drinks and getting a couple of lap dances for a cool hundred. (if I were married and this were my only out, I'd do the same thing). So for the hundred of play money, there's no sex, but a pretty good illusion and fantasy since there's no way your going to pull off a trip to P'Burg and Suckergarden late at night with wife or significant other waiting in room. In other words. These clubs know their customers and have a niche market. Fortunately for me, I'm not that market. Nor should any single guy with mobility, who wants to maximize their return on their investment.

If I recall, Platinum reminded me of a Myrtle Beach type strip joint, ala The Doll House, Crazy Horse, maybe Rachel's in Houston and Florida. Nice inside. But typical high end USA Strip club theme. I can't speak to the other 2. Bada Bing or Golden Eyes since I've never been inside. Hey, whatever floats your boat! Some guys, might not want to take the full plunge and may just want to dip their toe in the water and the strip clubs might do it for them on their visit to the island. Logistics and where you stay play a big part as well, since once I deplane, I never see the Maho / Simpson Bay area again until I'm heading back to the airport to depart. For firt time visitors, some of the casas, especially at night north of El Capitan can be a bit hard to locate and once found, maybe intimidating to a neophyte. That's the beauty of clubs being open in the afternoon to allow for you to explore, and gather intel, for the nigh time visit.

Many years ago when I first learned of the EE girls presence at the strip clubs on the island, I was kind of shocked, since based on approximately I thought of Latinas and nothing else. I was of the opinion as to "how the hell are girls from Russia and the Ukraine, making there way all the way here? Are things that slow in Europe? Actually they had a strong foothold in Amsterdam and the Netherlands, but now that's dominated by EE girls from Romania and Bulgaria.

No matter which way you slice it, whether strip clubs or casas, there's enough relaxing gentlemen's entertainment on the island for a good time to be had by all!

Great report. Still a bit surprised you paid three visits to SXM considering latinas is not your thing. Gotta try Colombia one day (even though it probably means I have to cancel my beach, sailing and French cuisine plans).

I just have to make a comment on the following:

Chicas at Carolinas must be present in the bar at 8 pm or else they have to pay a multa of $17 for being late on busy Saturday nights. So, you can generally be assured a full line-up at 8 pm or shortly thereafter but this is not true for the chicas showing up at 11 am. They take there time waking up and showing themselves in the daytime. Here are a a few quick stats for Friday, December 26,2014 to illustrate what I am talking about:

Ultra is spot on. One of my first days on the island I entered Carolina's shortly after 11 am just to find a bunch of bored guys and no chicas. They waited and waited, and no chicas showed up. At 11:15 they gave up and left the club for another. Shortly thereafter the chicas started arriving, and by 11:30- 12:00 there were between 10- 20 chicas circulating in the bar, leaving a great selection for me.

It's not that easy to predict how a day evolves at a chica bar like Carolina's, but Ultra's observations of slow arrival in the morning hours and "everyone" being there at 8 pm are very much in accordance with my own (and a bit unlike two years ago).

In daytime the "best" time for seeing a complete line-up seemed to be from noon untill 2 pm. From 2- 4 pm the situation could be more unpredictable. More chicas the more business, but at slow times the numbers could quickly drop. Siesta starts at 4 pm leaving the bar nearly empty with many chicas taking a nap or going shopping in Phillipsburg.

In December Carolina's had around 35 chicas, but you would rarely see more than 3- 20 chicas in the bar (depending on how much business to be found). And then there was this nice circulation with new chicas arriving and others leaving in the back. If you experience a too small selection of chicas in the bar, I would recommend asking the bartender for assistance / advice. There are probably a bunch of chicas in the back eager for business.

Still, some popular chicas were rarely seen due to TLD / TLNs. I learnt that many chicas left for TLD at 9- 10 am in the morning, or at 6 pm in the evening. The bar officially opens at 11 am, and the doors usually open 10- 20 mnts before that, making it difficult to identify the popular girls unless making several return visits to the bar.

A tip: If you have a date with a chica when the bar is closed at 9 am, make sure you have her phone number (unless you know the backdoor system)! I also learnt that TLD can have double meaning in Spanish: Either a full 22- 24 hrs date, or a 6- 9 hrs date in daytime.

Evenings: Great F/M ratios between 8- 10 pm. The gents seemed to arrive from 10 pm and onwards. The club was particular crowded at the weekends when the US visitors arrived for their short weekend trip and the locals were celebrating their day off.

Glad to hear your opinion again. You should do it more often.

Being a regular visitor to some of the German FKK Clubs for years I can assure you that many of the "sex providers" in the scene there are well-performing and taking their work ethics very seriously. Top performers exist, along with a few scam artists / underperforming girls (but fewer than you think when reading some of the reports). But sure, the intimacy mostly stops when leaving a room.

AFAIK being an "exotic dancer" at a strip club is a total different profession than a "sex provider". As an "exotic dancer" primarily offering pole / lap dances, you can only simulate sex acts, not actually do the sex acts. Thus making the "exotic dancer" at a strip club appear more of a "heartless, money grabbing, cold hearted B-Word". I would assume the American phenomenon / invention of "strip clubs" and "exotic dancers" has more to do with adjusting the adult entertainment business in the states to US law rather than what a club (or girls) theoretically would be willing to do.

I have many times expressed my sincere affection for Colombianas. Their seductive mix of romance / erotica is simply amazing. I think Routard once reported: It's in their culture. It's not that they are any less calculating professionals than any other ethnic group, it's just that they do not know any other way!

A few stats: I had approx. 30 sessions with around 20 latinas on my last trip. All - except for 1 - worked hard to please. No star fish experiences. No upselling, shortcuts or alternative pricing. And for that last one I still am scratching my head a little as of what it really was (coming up).

Again, I just love the way a Colombiana is mixing eye contact, smiles, salsa moves, sensual caresses, hugs and kisses as part of the seduction process. Just be friendly and nice and buy a chica drink and experience a world of wonder. The more Spanish you know, the more of this world you can experience. This friendliness and dedication still took me by surprise. Sometimes I just got too embarrassed of her generousity and friendliness and had to leave (hint: This is why some of us still frequent Hypnotic / Defiance and other clubs to find that ONE girl even though Carolia's may have an overall better-looking line-up).

I never asked for rooms for STFS at Platinum, but am confident there are none considering that the hardsell is all about lap dances. Also, when I'm indicating how nice it would be to have FS with a Platinum dancer, the only option that has been offered me by (various) dancers is takeout to my hotel. So, AFAIK the only options are lap-dance and takeout at Platinum Club.

The price for a takeout has always been quoted at $1.000 to the dancer + $250 to the club. I am not sure where you get the $1500 from, but I guess you calculate to spend a few dollars on lady drinks and lap dances before you pick a dancer for take out. It sounds fair.

As mentioned previously, I think there is a good chance you can agree to a lower rate with a dancer, say $300- 500. But in stead of having a full night of "romance" (8- 12 hrs?) you will simply agree to a shorter time of take-out (like 2 hrs). Some excotic dancers will probably be more interested in this than others, and all you can do is to shop around a little to find out. Again, I have never done this myself, so above is only my loose theory based on discussions with the Platinum dancers.

Also, if you have a little bit of game you can probably ask a Platinum dancer out for free. For free?? Yes! Just like the Colombianas they are lonely and far away from home, so if an excotic dancer has earned her money by 5 am, she may see leaving the club with a nice gent to a nice hotel with swimming pool, jacuzzi and clean bed with quality sleep a better option than staying with her girlfriends. Maybe even with some dream / hope to one day marry a rich American gent. Other gents have reported this previously in this thread.

Me? I have only done this occasionally with my Colombianas at the chica bars. No, not marrying them, you silly! Only taking them out of the club for free. It's wellknown that they SOMETIMES do this in their siesta at 4- 8 pm or after work at night (3- 10 am). Sometimes for a minor fee, sometimes for free. No multa at those times. If money is not mentioned I usually spend at least a few dollars on snacks and drinks on those occasions, and offer the chica a good bed for quality sleep at my hotel and / or a relaxing time in the Jacuzzi and / or maybe a good professional massage, and let her decide what she wants. Note, I always pay for the time we are intimate at my hotel, if that's happening, and maybe a tip. It's only fair IMO.

In fact, the "accident" during dance #3 only happened with 1 out of 4 the excotic dancers, and only 2 out of 4 dancers offered to try to get me off. I am not even sure if it is permitted by the club! There are probably clear rules about how far an excotic dancer at Platinum Club can or cannot go, just as there are rules about how a gent is supposed to behave when getting a lap dance (have no worry, the dancer will encourage/guide you through it). An excotic dancer is under no circumstances obliged to try to get you off, and you just have to try your luck and charm out there. And, just to state the obvious: I encourage everyone to respect a dancer's (or chica's) limits. Be a gent!

Those are actually tiny little toads native to the Caribbean. In Jamaica they are called Whistling Toads. Not sure what the locals call them in SXM. When I hear them I know I am the islands.
