That sucks about the car! Yes, widespread closure on the island. The place I am staying is like a ghost town, I kid you not. The staffers yesterday mentioned in the later morning police suggested non-critical staffers go home. I drove to Carolina's 1:00 pm and it was shielded up with those rolling slider doors. I noticed the small supermarket just around the corner was closed up too. For the kick of it, I drove up thru Pond Island road into Phillipsburg. Closed. Drove thru Simpson Bay, same. Needless to day it was an odd and slow night.

I will take a drive in a few hours to scope out whether Carolina's is open. Good luck today.

Today I tried to rent a car, but seems be a problem because everything is closed. Taxi is to expensive. Tried to let a girl come to the hotel, but the prices are ridiculous. Parking used to be across the street. At night it reminded me of the film Dusk till Dawn. I never went there at night. They used to have a few girls mostly Dominicanas working.

Golden Girls has been renamed. The old place I don't believe even had a sign, but not sure. It is a tall building on right-hand side if heading toward Oyster Pond, rises literally several yards from road's edge on a curve.

Empire may have been renamed from sunset. There is a clear sign up now with bronze / black lettering. It may have been the old Sunset. This one you cannot see the entrance until you drive up a short ramp, then opens up to a well-established parking lot with a wide entrance. You'll pass it a short distance back from what I described for Golden Girls.

Little update for weather, Tropical Storm Fiona swept thru last evening and is kicking up earlier today (Saturday). Was not that bad, wind and rain, but everyone was hunkered down. The staffers at Princess Heights left early today.

I did stop by El Captain. Not bad, mix of Dominican and Colombian girls. I found a slightly older girl named Andrea, fairly tall, nice personality, longer black hair. Looked great in a body suit but just OK once the suit comes off. Lots of toys in the room, etc. I did not partake in extra-curricular stuff. I like the vibe in Carolina, always have. The first entry is always a tough transition, trying to stay cool and not necessarily jump on the first approach without surveying the room. I will often say "I am waiting / meeting someone," which more often than not isn't true. Since girls are there for up to 6 months, a girl you've seen already will come over immediately. Is the weather tolerable?

I've been here a few days and not a drop, however large cumulus clouds can move in quickly. I've had a couple of beautiful days so far.

Do things change with respect to Carolina's, El Capitan, etc?

Nope. Visited Carolina's last night after checking the place out in the daytime. Met a great girl from Columbia (all girls from Colombia) and had a good time with her for the $10/$70 as stated by others. Girls generally come on at 11:00 am, nap in later afternoon / early evening, back out starting at 8:00 pm. 9:30 pm was pretty hopping with patrons and girls, from what I could tell there were 20 girls.

Going to try the El Capitan tonight which also looked busy when I went by last eve.

Is tourism down significantly? Yes. I've come in April. June before. The condo / property I always stay at is virtually vacant. Great place, but discovered on my return this time there is a crazy rooster sounding off down below and often. I am now used to, but geez.

I've never stayed in September, which is characterized as "sticky and wet" . I don't mind the weather changes or rainy season, but wanted to ask you all if you had any insight on staying on the island during Sept. Nov. Asking like:

US $ is universally accepted. They sell gasoline in florins and convert to dollars. The florin (naf) is a fixed rate to the $.

All the entertainment is on the Dutch side. Euros on the French side-I wouldn't waste my time going to the French side except for Orient Beach.

Good luck with Anal, You might try Luisa the Brazilian at Crystals. If you speak Spanish it might get you further. My impression with Carolinas is that the majority of the chicas think they have golden pussies and Anal is a non starter.

I Think your best shot if Luisa is not around it to ask around at El Capitan.

If you want the B team you could get anal at Petite Chateau.

Parking at the clubs is no problem. Do not walk between Carolinas or Crystals to El Capitan.
