Heading to SXM mid March. I have been reading the board about Carolina's and Empires but my question is about transportation. As a gringo, are taxi's and or Ubers (if they work there) safe for a solo traveler to go to the clubs? Are rental cars risky or affordable? It looks like I may stay in Little bay area for 2 nights and Simpson bay the last night. Probably will only do the clubs 1 of the 3 nights. Like one of the other posters said, tinder worked well for me in Dubai and Rio. I will go back through and see about the chica friendly hotels but any advice there would be helpful. Also, any non-mongering adventures as well. Probably going to go do the rainforest adventures and go to the french side one day.

Where is the best place to stay in terms of access to all the parties but also not too far away from Carolina / Empire / etc? Check out Huppel the pub on Mondays and Friday nights, it's located in Simpson Bay next to Zee Best. It has a more mature crowd 40+ with a few younger yachties sprinkled around due to its location. The pub also shows lots of live sports as well. It was my regular first drink or last drink of the night bar when I was on island.

I also miss Campo, it was the best. I knew the owner and he would rent me a room in the Campo compound along with the putas. I used to have a chica bring me coffee in the morning and then proceeded with desert. I stayed many weeks in the compound.

Divi bay is good location as it's close to bars Carolina's / empire / el capitan and it has its own huge parking lot.

If you want to explore bars or lounges, I believe Monday night is at Red Piano at Simpson bay, Tuesdays are at salty dog and you can always check out bars / lounges in maho area every night.

When you go to Carolina's, park as close to as possible to entrance. Crystals is right accords the street from Carolina's and you can walk there. Anywhere else, do not walk. Take a car. Empire has its own parking lot but still park close to entrance.

Bring positive vibes, be friendly and easygoing with chicas, buy them drink even if you do not like them, treat chicas well and you'll have a blast. I'the say take time first day or two to scout clubs for chica you connect and really like. If you find one you really like, work on building connection as each next visit gets better and better, just do not go for first chica that approaches you. Thanks mate nice to be appreciated, I actually haven't been to DR or Colombia and my few posts on those boards were inquiries about the scenes there, I ended up choosing SXM due to the crime and language barriers (real or perceived) in those places. I don't mind one or two off topic informative posts about other destinations with similar identities since they're generally helpful for most readers and "what's the best place to have sex with gorgeous Latinas" is a worthy question all should endeavor to understand. My POV is a late 30's American who knows a couple Spanish words.

A brief rundown of Tijuana spas:

1) Massage parlors: don't go to these. The lineups are tiny (2-3 girls most of the time) and lack consistency in quality and service; these are a trap for the uninformed.

2) Club girls: these are much closer to German FKKs than SXM brothels. The meet and greet areas are enormous multifloor strip clubs where every woman is available for p4 p in an attached hotel. There will be 30-80 available with no siesta break and a plethora of women with Lia-tier bodies and prettier faces. Standard service is $100 for half HR of CFS with GFE being easily negotiable for money or charm. Oh and the chicas in Tijuana speak MUCH better English so comms are very easy compared to SXM.

3) Non-spas: escorts in Tijuana are where you can expect a caro-quality chica to come to your hotel for an hour of standard GFE and many potential extras available. Escorts typically run about $100-150 but take care to avoid bait and switch. The seeking scene is also very active but not for me, I prefer the reliability of professionals.

Comparing Tijuana to SXM:

Tijuana beats SXM in most aspects of mongering tbh. It has 24/7 access to a harem of model tier chicas, larger quantity + variety of other tiers of women, greater English proficiency, and actual club / hotel / hygiene infrastructure. SXM has a niche at the $50 price point: half an HR with a quality chica isn't hard to find in SXM but there isn't much available in Tijuana for $50 except streetwalkers who tend to be much lower in quality than other options. At $100 in Tijuana you'll get a half hour with a supermodel or an hour of a sloppy GFE escort from the comfort of your hotel, those options don't exist in SXM.

Tijuana is definitely preferable to SXM in the categories of logistics and safety. Getting to Tijuana is super easy via San Diego and the hotels, food, and red light district are all walking distance so no need to rent a car. Mongers are protected since we're a huge source of income.

SXM trounces Tijuana for non sex tourism. SXM is a lot more vacationy. The beaches have white sand and crystal clear water, beautiful topless nonpros sunbathing on the french side, you can go snorkling or jetskiing or parasailing, there's drinkable tap water, and there's a wonderful blend of Dutch, French, creole, and cruiseship cultures while Tijuana is local Mexicans who are lovely but its a monoculture with some mongers sprinkled in.

Carolinas: I hate how small the bar is and the rooms feel like a prison. Outside smells like a sewer, inside smells like an ashtray, and the threat of violent crime is very real late at night. With regards to crime outside, I know someone was jumped by 3 youths by tennis court car parks late on a Friday night, They managed to get away as the attackers were disorganised. If you park your car more than 10-15 metres from the entrance ask security to walk you to your car if you are on your own, also get a roady bottled beer for the drive home, so you have something to defend yourself with just in case.

Also be wary of the youths on scooters or bikes.
