I just got back after a week on island.

Thanks mate nice to be appreciated, I actually haven't been to DR or Colombia and my few posts on those boards were inquiries about the scenes there, I ended up choosing SXM due to the crime and language barriers (real or perceived) in those places. I don't mind one or two off topic informative posts about other destinations with similar identities since they're generally helpful for most readers and "what's the best place to have sex with gorgeous Latinas" is a worthy question all should endeavor to understand. My POV is a late 30's American who knows a couple Spanish words.

A brief rundown of Tijuana spas:

1) Massage parlors: don't go to these. The lineups are tiny (2-3 girls most of the time) and lack consistency in quality and service; these are a trap for the uninformed.

2) Club girls: these are much closer to German FKKs than SXM brothels. The meet and greet areas are enormous multifloor strip clubs where every woman is available for p4 p in an attached hotel. There will be 30-80 available with no siesta break and a plethora of women with Lia-tier bodies and prettier faces. Standard service is $100 for half HR of CFS with GFE being easily negotiable for money or charm. Oh and the chicas in Tijuana speak MUCH better English so comms are very easy compared to SXM.

3) Non-spas: escorts in Tijuana are where you can expect a caro-quality chica to come to your hotel for an hour of standard GFE and many potential extras available. Escorts typically run about $100-150 but take care to avoid bait and switch. The seeking scene is also very active but not for me, I prefer the reliability of professionals.

Comparing Tijuana to SXM:

Tijuana beats SXM in most aspects of mongering tbh. It has 24/7 access to a harem of model tier chicas, larger quantity + variety of other tiers of women, greater English proficiency, and actual club / hotel / hygiene infrastructure. SXM has a niche at the $50 price point: half an HR with a quality chica isn't hard to find in SXM but there isn't much available in Tijuana for $50 except streetwalkers who tend to be much lower in quality than other options. At $100 in Tijuana you'll get a half hour with a supermodel or an hour of a sloppy GFE escort from the comfort of your hotel, those options don't exist in SXM.

Tijuana is definitely preferable to SXM in the categories of logistics and safety. Getting to Tijuana is super easy via San Diego and the hotels, food, and red light district are all walking distance so no need to rent a car. Mongers are protected since we're a huge source of income.

SXM trounces Tijuana for non sex tourism. SXM is a lot more vacationy. The beaches have white sand and crystal clear water, beautiful topless nonpros sunbathing on the french side, you can go snorkling or jetskiing or parasailing, there's drinkable tap water, and there's a wonderful blend of Dutch, French, creole, and cruiseship cultures while Tijuana is local Mexicans who are lovely but its a monoculture with some mongers sprinkled in.

48 is a bit exaggerating. Back in December, barlady told me there were around 25 girls, to which the number was questionable to me at first, but after few days of daytime and evening visits, it seems realistic.

The women are gorgeous and very reasonably priced, the crime is safer than Colombia, the beaches are great re: plausible deniability of the trip, and the entire island outside of chica bars speaks english. I would 1000% come back if someone opened up a higher end establishment where the barfine isn't $500 and the showers are hygenic and accessible.

Carolinas: I hate how small the bar is and the rooms feel like a prison. Outside smells like a sewer, inside smells like an ashtray, and the threat of violent crime is very real late at night. With regards to crime outside, I know someone was jumped by 3 youths by tennis court car parks late on a Friday night, They managed to get away as the attackers were disorganised. If you park your car more than 10-15 metres from the entrance ask security to walk you to your car if you are on your own, also get a roady bottled beer for the drive home, so you have something to defend yourself with just in case.

Also be wary of the youths on scooters or bikes.

Who is the source? The bartender said 20- 25 in December. That was hard to believe as I never counted more than 10 in the bar. But after making several visits day and night I must admit the bartender was right. They are there, but just not in the bar.

Pre corona there were reports (not personal experience) about 60 chicas in Carolina's at one time. That's during high season in St. Martin (from January to March / April). So 48 girls may be true.

There are also rooms upstairs in the Carolina building. I do not know how many. They are rarely used for guests. I have only been there once. They looked better than the rooms downstairs. A chica showed me a VIP area with jacuzzi. That was a long time ago.

Before the time of smartphone (yeah, I am getting old but vaguely remember) Carolina's had a lot of stricter rules. The chicas had to be in the bar and sign in at 11 am and 8 pm every day. - The chicas are allowed to rest and take a few hours or a day off whenever they feel like as long as they have paid rent to the bar (pure speculation of course, but I imagine that the chicas of today are not as tired as they used to be way back, typically being able to sleep during day after a stressful TLN).

- The chicas order food and have their lunch / dinner break in the back (you can observe this all the time).

- They shower and spend time brushing up (hey, these are females. It takes time to look that good!)

The important thing these days is to remember to have a little patience. If you do not see who you want when entering the bar, sometimes it pays to sit back and relax to see what's happening the next couple of hours. But not always. I still got things to learn about the dynamics of a chica bar.

Regarding rooms at Caro, yeah sometimes you get taken to a barebones room. Other times the chica will invite you to her personal room where it's a lot more cosy. If they invite you to their room, they are usually happy to lend you a towel etc if you want to shower and clean up properly.

Welcome to St. Martin. I bet you are glad you have a car and are not walking. Souliga Road has 6 speed bumps. At the second from the Salt Pickers you have El General on your left. The third is around the bend. The last three just 10 yards from Caronlina's / Crystals. Take Suckergarden Road/ Arch Road if you want to avoid the speed bumps.

I've been in SXM for 2 days, initial thoughts.

General:
