Are the strip clubs basically very expensive brothels or are they true strip clubs with no additional mileage? I'm going to be in town and trying to figure out whether its even worth going to those. Thanks mates.

The strip clubs of St. Martin are genuine strip clubs (look like a typical American strip club) with 30 dollar a dance (5- 7 mnts). Drinks not overly priced (subject to opinion of course/they are 10 dollar a drink and 20 dollar for a "pink soda girl drink" if I remember correctly). Entrance either for free or 10- 15 dollar including a drink. There are constantly 1- 2 girls dancing/stripping.

Some of the girls will come up with "indecent proposals" when you are looking at a show. There are no rooms for doing the deed at the strip club (as you would at a normal brothel). You will need to leave the strip club and take the girl to your hotel (or the girl's hotel). Just to be clear: I have never done this myself.

Remember you are on Dutch ground when visiting the Dutch side of the island, and prostitution is legal. Contrary to the US (and the French part of St. Martin) there is nothing wrong with suggesting sex for money or pay the girl for sex.

I do not know why the club does not have any rooms for sex, but I am guessing they only have license for being a strip club. That would make sense at least. It would be fair to consider an outcall as a private agreement between the gent and the girl and has nothing to do with the club.

I visited only Platinum last month and did not have time for Red Diamond. Just like FunTime is saying Platinum has a tradition for being the best strip club on the island. I can verify that the girls are burning hot (some can be hotter than what you normally experience at even the best FKK club), but I don't think all the girls are available for takeout. The club said 40+ girls. I counted 20+ the couple of hours of a Friday night I was there. A mix of Romanian and Ukrainian with a few latinas. The offer is 250 dollar for one hour at your hotel + a 500 dollar bar fine to the club.

By comparison the going rate at the Suckergarden bars is 100- 120 dollar full hour + 20 dollar room fee. Room at the premises and no bar fine necessary. If taking a chica out of the bar, there is a 80 dollar bar fine. Going rate for all night is 500 dollar (12 hours) (or 3- 500 dollar for 6- 8 hours in daytime).

I spent last Monday through Friday in SXM. I want to thank all the contributors to this site as it helped a lot. Overall, it was a great trip and wanted to provide a summary of what I learned on island. The island is beautiful, and the Chica Clubs are like icing on the cake. Would I go to SXM for just the clubs, no. But the combination together is great! I rented a car and stayed at a hotel on the beach in Phillipsburg. Getting around was very easy and I did not feel unsafe. You can find Crystal's via Google Maps. Although, I agree with others it would be crazy to walk around at night in the area of the clubs as there is not much around and its dark. Especially that strip of road between The General and Carolina's.

I went to mainly Crystals and Carolina's. I spent 80% of the time in Carolina's and I visited the club in both the daytime and nighttime. At night there are more girls and more of a party scene with more locals. I felt like the perfect time to come is between 9 pm and 10 pm at night. My first night I got to the club at 8 pm and no one was there, and it really did not get going until 9. By 11 pm things are in full swing. As for the daytime I went on days where there were 4 and 3 cruises on the island. Around noon-1 pm is the time to go. I think a lot of the cruisers start showing up around 1 pm. By noon-12:30 most of the chicas are out and not a lot of customers at that time. If you wait in the day to 2 pm you will probably find Carolina's with as many or more guys than girls in attendance (if there are lot of cruises).

My first night out I made a rookie mistake and drank too much but had a fun time. Hell of a hangover the next day. Went to the rooms with 2 chica's and broke my cherry. But after that I vowed not to drink too much or spend all night in the club. Every single chica I spoke with said they were from Columbia. For the most part going rate is still $60 for 30 minutes and $120 for an hour (room rate 10/30 minutes & 20/60 minutes). However, there is a group of chicas that are charging 70/140 and it does not include BBBJ. If you want that its extra. I recommend avoiding this group. One day I was happy to start a conversation with Maria, who I noticed the previous night, and she is pretty with black and blonde hair, slim waist, big round titties (was surprised as her outfit did not do them justice) and the usual fantastic Latina ass. The hottest of the women I was with. She quoted 140 for an hour and I was like cool. I forgot to ask about BBBJ as I was excited and found out it was $50 extra when in the room. Local vs cruise vs hotel, how long and where are you in your trip (beginning or end). They are not dumb if you are toward the beginning there is more upside of repeat business. Also, if you get the chica's Whatapp on a previous visit, some chica's will text you when you come into the bar instead of approaching you. So if you don't see someone you previously met or did not set up a "date" meeting check your phone.

The other thing I was not prepared for is what I like to call the "first wave". When you first enter the club, a women will make a beeline for you. Often these are the heavier chicas, although not always. They are pretty aggressive and don't like to take no for an answer. Any advice on polite ways to reject undesirables? The second day I was at Carolina's a chica named Viviana came up on me at the bar and started to give me the sales job. She was good. Showed me a picture of her naked on her phone, then put my hand on her ass, then her boobs and eventually up her skirt. She also started rubbing my dick. I guess it depends if you like Eastern European girls, Platinum club has a number of 10/10 beautiful Russians and Ukrainians, also Red Diamond has a few as well though not quite as attractive as Platinum. Though you pay top dollar for them and a for bit to the club unless you get them on day off.

Let's try to be realistic here. St. Martin is a tiny, tiny island. The pure number of girls, not to say attractive girls, is SXM weakest points. It would be silly to compare our beautiful little island to big countries as Brazil and Colombia.

I assume there were approx. 80- 100 chicas on the island spread among the 7 chica bars when I was there last month. Perhaps there are a bit more now (idk). That's excluding girls at the strip clubs in Maho and the SW in Simpson Bay who I assume neither you nor I wish to spend money on (too expensive).

So, how many are attractive? It's a matter of taste and what you are looking for.

How many do you need? It's a matter of your modus operandi (do you need two new girls every night, or is 1 enough for your stay?) and how long you are staying.

Personally I found 5- 10 chicas at Carolina's and possibly 5 others spread among Crystal's (1- 2), Empire (1) and El General (1- 2) ranging from hot to reasonably hot. The challenge is that when you do not have their wa, the most popular girls can sometimes be hard (or very hard) to get (nowhere to be seen). No problem for me. I was able to "dance" all the days/nights I visited the bars. I know the ropes. I know what to expect in St. Martin. I like repeating with the best. It could be different to you.

Not much.

I do not think that any SXM lover has ever tried to persuade Brazil / Colombia / DR vets to try SXM. You can argue that St. Martin is, exactly as you say, just an expensive tiny island with limited opportunities.

Then again, I have read the same 10 pages and what I find is that the clubs are just a 5 mnts ride outside Phillipsburg (that's pretty convenient to me), most guys are paying 50- 60 dollar hh (not 100). And I guess if you are used to travel in Brazil / Colombia / DR, then St. Martin should feel pretty safe. Just take normal precautions.

Does St. Martin have any advantages compared to Brazil / Colombia / DR?

Not many.

- Shorter (and cheaper?) flights perhaps.
- Less linguistic challenges. English is widely spoken, but you will benefit with Spanish when inside a chica bar.
- The Dutch side of St. Martin is heavily influenced by American culture (I. E. Less cultural barriers).
- The island is tiny / easy to learn the ropes. All the p4p fun is located in one small easy to find area.
- As a tourist you will find that the island is an amazing melting pot of American, European (French and Dutch), latin and local Caribbean culture. Very friendly and laid back. Fantastic climate, beaches, food and night life. Perfect for a weekend getaway.

Ok, I can correct myself a little bit: You will need to walk on the shoulder of the road LARGE PARTS of the way to Suckergarden. Not all.

I find this video about Suckergarden helpful. Nice commentary from the local driver. From 1:58 you also find parts of the road you may choose to walk (Suckergarden Road from Arch Road to the eastern roundabout just outside Phillipsburg). Judge for yourself if this is something you would like to walk.

An alternative is to walk Soualiga Road in stead of Suckergarden Road. Memory is fading a bit, but I do not think the walking conditions will be significantly better (perhaps slightly worse).

Just to be clear: Personally I would never walk under the tropical sun from the cruise port to Suckergarden as I like to arrive as fresh and clean as possible. I highly recommend a cab. But to each their own.

Can you walk to Carolinas from the cruise port? From reading here, it looks like this is the current go-to spot, especially during the day. There are three ships in town when I'm there next Sunday, so I read that the chicas should be out with that many ships in port.
