Wow, these are some really good posts! So it seems the general consensus is that the best we can really do is just always try to be polite, clean, and respectful. I suppose we're preaching to the choir here. I've been in the places a few times, and seen some of the locals that are trying to hook up, and I've felt sorry for the chicas.

I guess the one thing I kinda do wrong is that I let the chica be in control completely. Like she tells me when to take off clothes, she says when to start sex, etc. I've never yet done anything like the greats here where you try to really improve the BFE that you give to the chica. Maybe I should just start with some simple massaging.

I agree 100% with you. But i believe that no woman is born to be a hooker, path of life and necessity bring them into the business. No one should blame those girls for that. Problem is that to survive in such environment and to deal with the emotional turmoil, they learn to protect themselves and they modify their attitude towards men, any men. It's probably impossible to "rescue" an experienced hooker. I still hear loud and clear the warning of a working girl that I consider as a good friend: "Nunca te confies a una puta!" However, in my humble opinion this does not apply yet to the girls who just start in the business. And each time I would have liked to rescue a girl, she was a complete newby. What saves me from doing it is that I have my own family to protect.

However, I'm proud to tell I rescued successfully at least once in my life a hooker. This was before I was married and before I became a mongerer. She was 19, and was a semi-pro in a disco doing TLN only. Needless to say, I was not one of her customers, I never paid her, and of course I never took her money. We had a passionate romance. I loved her but I had clearly warned her from the beginning that I could never consider her to be the mother of my future children. At first, she continued with her job while I was dating her. It made me sick of jealousy. But I managed to change her attitude, find her another job, a new environment and new friends. At first, she did it for love, not for herself. But she changed completely. I then disappeared forever to another country. I learned from friends that even after I left, she still continued with her new life and didn't return to prostitution. I hope she now lives happy and is married with a man that unlike me doesn't know anything about her past.

Rescueing a girl does not mean marrying her. But it means a tremendous self investment and not anyone can afford to give it. But anyone can afford to give to all these girls the respect they deserve from us.

Sometimes I ask them if they like their job (I freeze and start asking stupid questions!) and they say no, and sometimes they say yes. I dunno. The girls certainly have a tough job. I agree with the other commenters. In another post in the FKK section, I noted that girls in SXM have a number of major worries:

1) a girl gets murdered (a girl was strangled at petit chateau club last month)
2) a man steals money or valuables like iPods from the girls room (where they also live)
3) a man is dirty or smelly
4) a man is rough, fast and brutal without worrying about what pain he may be causing.

I never tried to rescue a girl, but I did have a long experience with a girl who was rescued by someone else. She hated most of the clients at Defiance and was making herself sick over it. Eventually she ran away from the club and moved in with a client on the french side. She didn't want to go back to Colombia, because there was no money or job for her there. But she was in St Martin illegally, with no passport (it is held by the police until they leave). But within a month, she was back in Colombia anyway.

I don't think being rescued worked for her either, because she would beg me to come over and see her when her rescuer was away at work. And sleep with me, and get money gifts from me.

In addition to what Mel mentioned, some establishment in SXM seem a lot more "hardcore" than others, and conditions in SXM in general are a lot worse than even in San Nicolas in Aruba, where I've seen girls who refused to go TLN on Friday/Saturday nights becasue they thought they could make more by working in the bar. I haven't seen that in SXM yet. It must be very hard to go back to those "bars" and service scary looking and often dangerous locals after spending time in some nice resorts.

As far as I can tell most of them don't do it to buy drugs or a new Mercedes. Most have a child at home. So yes, I think it's a "rough life" for most of them, and they are in SXM becasue of necessity, or, in other words, to earn a little more than what's possible back home.

I still have to meet the girl whose childhood dream it was to work as a prostitute in some club in a foreign country far from friends and family.

Even though you’ll see them singing and dancing and having a good time in the club, the reality is that they have a tough life.

It seems there is no huge difference between the Columbianas in St.Martin and the Brasileiras here in Suriname. Most of our girls are between 18-30, divorced or single moms with 1 or 2 kids or high-school drop-outs from poor parts of their town.
It sure is a sad situation because they are really very sweet.

Concerning “rescuing” them: All of them know what they are going to do abroad. They are in the clubs on a contract basis and they can refuse clients they don’t like.

In Suriname, they can either go back after their period is done or stay longer. The longer they stay the more they can earn for themselves and the family back at home. Some go back to their country and return after some time, others simply just stay here without going back.

Many of the girls have a “boyfriend” in the club and it also happened that they got married. Some of these marriages lasted, others didn’t.

So what I’m trying to say is: If the girls weren’t lured under false pretexts, try to accept the situation just like they do.

The best thing you can do is just to be nice to them. A BFE will get you a GFE and that’s the whole purpose of what we do.

Great insight! It has to be really bad work for them. I've thought a lot of the same things you wrote. That's why I was curious if anyone had ever tried rescuing them from the job?

I write this note not as a flame but as a note for information.
I have been friendly with working girls for over 30 years. In Fact, a madam of a rather fancy New York house was my girlfriend for over 10 years.

That might be great for us north Americans and Europeans but the HIV rate amongst the locals is very high. The girl is still terrified.

I feel particularly sorry for these Columbian girls, as they tend to be very very sweet and loving.

As Routard mentioned it is heart breaking to bring the girls back to the “house” after having a real GFE and returning to their shit.

I feel particularly guilty and sad after taking a girl out for a week and living like boyfriend girlfriend, Jacuzzi, beach, boating, dinners and then knowing that tomorrow they have to fuck anyone with a couple of twenties in their pocket.

Regardless of what the girls say, they do not like this work.

Since Routard's post on Suriname I've started to explore the Saint Maarten forum as well (here in Suriname people are more focused on Curacao and Aruba).
Seems that I'll have to visit your wonderful island asap. I also planned to go to Belem (brazil) where most of our working girls come from, but due to some problems couldn't make it this year.

It seems that former Dutch colonies are always a good bet. I had the time of my life, Suriname is definitely to be considered as a mongering destination. From Saint Maarten take Air Caraibes to French Guyana and cross the boarder. However I would not recommend to do it illegally like I did, I have been informed I could have get serious trouble as passports are scanned for stamps at the hotel desks. I have had no trouble as I had chosen to go to a "love motel" were they don't ask for ID.

Compared to Saint Maarten, the destination is of course less touristic and convenient, but safe. Prices are very low, TLN for 100$. There are about 7 brothels too, but they are much bigger than in SXM. Like in SXM, girls are on contract and come in the classier brothels from Brazil and the low end brothels from Dominican Republic. Definitely GFE available!!!!

The Colombianas made me start learning Spanish, I have started this week learning Brazilian and plan a huge trip in Brazil on july!!!

I may be wrong on this but a girl told me that all girls at Carolina would get time off on 24th December to have a big fiesta on the beach somewhere. I therefore assume Carolina is closed on that day (or part of that day) but open on 26th Dec. Or I could be completely wrong about this, as this was told me in Spanish (by Ana Maria in fact) and my Spanish is not good!! ;-)

My experience is that 11 am is a good time to show up, as all available girls will be present the next hour. Another good time is 8 pm when the girls come back from their siesta. Siesta time I think is between 6 and 8 pm. If business is slow, there may also be fewer girls present between 2 (or 4) and 6 pm. On a late Saturday night not so long ago, practically all girls were gone (on TLNs I guess), leaving a ratio at a certain time at 4:1, i.e. 4 men for each girl, gentlemen! But usually the ratio is favourable.

And yes, Ana Maria is a very sweet girl. Colombiana (as 95% of the girls are), medium height, thin, curvy with enhanced chest, pretty face, and straight long black hair. English almost non-existant. A little shy sometimes. Would not agree when I told her how pretty I thought she was. Looks 7- 8 in my book, but I think YMMV (check chemistry before deciding to go further). Shares room with another beauty, Camilla, the only black girl there at the moment I think (sorry, don't recall room number, but it was somewhere in the middle of the hotel complex).

Recently there were over 30 girls at Carolina, of which at least 20 were present at peak times (see above). I would rate at least 10 of them a 7 or better in looks. But YMMV, and sometimes the 5- 6 category girls were better providers. Then again, many of these girls will go home for Christmas and this information may not apply any longer.
