I am new to the St Maarten scene. I am planning to go the week of 7.20-23. Is this a good time of year to go. Will I find good prices for chicas?? I have been looking at the Holland House Hotel, Is it true that they accept the girls like every one says?? This forum has been very very Informative. Also I am looking for thick Black girls..which bar do you guys recommend?

The answers to all of your questions are here in the thread, but I will give you short answers anyway: july is low season in st maarten, hotter and not as much to do, you can negotiate lower prices ($30 vs $40) but don't expect superior service in return, holland house is girl friendly, for thick black girls try Casa Blanca, then Petit Chateau, then Sunset Retreat.

You have to park at Bobby's Marina and walk back to the hotel. It is a 10 minute walk and I wouldn't advise it at night.

I second Zing. There are indeed less expensive places elsewhere, but still pricing is reasonable in Saint Maarten. Short time sessions have standard pricing: 40$ (some bargain it down to 30$, but then don't expect good service from the chica). TLN is negotiable as Zing explained depending time of the night etc... 300$ is the starting price for TLN, I usually pay 150 to 200$ later in the night. I even once managed to get a chica for all the afternoon for 50$, only because she just arrived and wanted to visit the island's beaches (we didn't only visit beaches BTW).

The good thing about TLN in Saint Maarten is that the chicas are far from home and don't need to go back early in the morning to take care for their children. They need to be back at the Club only at 11am. In many places, the so called TLN finish in the (very) early morning. I remember in Dominican Republic , I paid 100$ for a so called TLN. I had to pay for condoms, lub, baby milk at the pharmacy, she was hungry, asked me to eat before. We arrived only at 3am at my hotelroom. She asked to leave at 5am as she needed to take care of her baby, asked me money again for taxi. Well, this was not anymore a TLN for 100$, but a quicky for 200$!

There are quantity of other good things about Saint Maarten: its a paradise island, there are upscale touristic facilities with direct flights to USA and Europe and best of all, prostitution is safe and legal (remember, it's a Dutch island).

I can deal with unsafe third world countries in South America, and I'm happy to monger there too. I love diversity and discovering new hunting grounds. But I can understand that some prefer to pay a bit more and a be in a developped and securred environment. It's a matter of personal choice.

I've mongered in St Maarten. It is alot of fun. Casablanca, Seamans and Carolina were just a few of the places that I hit. But I still like the Dominican Republic better. There is no place like it. Sure I've have a chica that wanted to leave early when it was TLN but that was my fault since I din't negotiate well enough. Over all, I'd rather have a chica leave early after paying 50-60 USD for TLN rather than pay 200-300 USD to keep her til 11am. When I'm in the DR I usually do 2 chicas a day. The second one is always TLN. Some times I find non pro a go a few nights for free. As far as all the extras that you paid for, food taxi etc... that's on you. Live and learn.

When I entered Carolina at 130pm yesterday it was dead. They were playing a Mexican soap opera (telenovela) on the big screen, where it seemed the woman was going to shoot herself in the head because she was getting gordo (fat). Or not. I had an odd experience yesterday. Keep in mind that I visit St Maarten once or twice a week.

I have been seeing Luisa at Seamans for 6 weeks: she was recommended to me by a previous favorita (see previous report) and she was fantastic. I went by the St Maarten airport because Luisa was flying on DAE to Curacao at 1145. I thought I might catch her checking in between 1030 and 1100, but I did not see her. No big deal, because I was excited to see her roommate Yajaira, who Luisa had recommended to me as "tranquila" (i.e., a girl who would give unrushed GFE, with Luisa telling her what I expected I suspect).

I second Routard and Zing. Everything is negotiable, depending of the number of clients she will expect (therefore you should get a better price during the low season - a higher price if a boat comes on the shore the same day...), the beauty of the girl, the time when you will pick her up, the way you look like. But personnaly, I do not like to bargain, because I know they are having a hard time and I hope to have a better service - i.e. GFE (which was unfortunately not the case during my last stay except but once). I only bargained once with Samantha (see my report) because she was asking 400 at 1am! Finnally, I paid 280, fine included.

I guess I misunderstood the post refering to $300 for TLN and thought that was an average figure. And I really can appreciate the "girls away from home" factor.
