Posts: 173Bada bing is gone, finished. I hear the owner Has no interest in coming back either.
Platinum room has a usual number of stunners but maho is like a ghost town. A friend of a friend was taking platinum girls out for around 500 dollars a night due to girls lack of business there.
Red diamond is up and running too but never went in.

Posts: 9Air Fare Spike to SXM.
I have been trying to plan a trip to SXM and / or CUR. Earlier this year, I could fly to either with one stop for about $800 without excessive layovers. I am now looking for late April or early May, and ticket prices to CUR haven't changed much, but preferred flights to SXM have almost doubled, to over $1500. Does anyone know if this is typical for low season, or perhaps related to the airport's effort to recover after the hurricane? The round trip flite between the islands is only $300, so I will probably book to CUR for 2 weeks, with a week in the middle in SXM. Mongering is part of the reason for the trip, so I will report back. I also want to get to know the islands regarding a possible 2-month stay next winter. I'm recently retired.

Thanks for the update. Reading the reports around here it seems 5 out of 8 clubs are up and running (Carolina's, Defiance, Crystal's, El Capitan and Casablanca), 1 is possibly still under construction (Petite Chateau), 1 is still closed (Hypnotic aka Seaman's was closed down BEFORE the hurricane), and 1 is unaccounted for (Sunset Retreat). Does anyone have any update on Sunset Retreat?
Also; does anyone have any update on the three strip clubs on the island (Platinum Room, Bada Bing and Red Diamond)?

Unless something has changed since I was there in Nov / Dec after the hurricane, Casa Blanca and El Capitan were also open. And Petite Chateau was under construction with repairs on going and I would hope it open by now.

Love the reference to Ace / Safari, sounds familiar might have been what I used before.
I much prefer the relaxed atmosphere of Carolina's. If that is the one with the eat in restaurant. I like establishing a rapport and having longer term fun with the girls better than the more business-like atmosphere I saw at Casa Blanca. Also I like the idea of health checks over free lancers.
Overall I was treated extremely well and think the Dutch format very satisfying. I try to treat them well and in turn they, almost always, treat me very well.
Once again your assistance is appreciated.
See.

A few days a week or so.
My favorite Colombiana who I met in Medellin is working for a few more months, and then hopefully retiring from the biz.
I'm with you, I always rent a car, and get full insurance for peace of mind.
Usually runs about $35 a day with the insurance.
Way better than taxis IMO.
No security issues yet, Knock on wood.
Seaman's is still closed.

Hey Caseyb7,
I have not been to the island after the hurricane, so bear this in mind when trying to give a general advice:
I always rent a car and ask for full insurance cover. It's worth every cent IMO. I have never had any problems. It's effecient, flexible and feels safe. Reading the reports here and on other media it seems all roads are in good shape. Unless you are a heavy drinker / smoker, I don't see any disadvantages ("potential insurance liability issues?"). But to each their own.
Never walk between clubs (except between Carolina's and Crystal's). It was never recommended for safety reasons. Not prior to the hurricane hit the island, and certainly not after. Not that it can't be done (the island is small), but you are playing with your luck (in particular after dark).
I have never used Uber on the island, and will let others respond to that.
If not having a car rental, my preferred choice would be taxi. If noone is around, then let the hotel or bartender call one for you. Once you have found a good driver, tip well, get his phone number, and make appointsments for pickups later in the night.
Seaman's? It's still closed as far as I know.
Have fun & Stay safe!

Glad you managed to catch her before she left, my friend was with her at weekend and he told me she is due to leave any day now.
He has been a regular of hers for past 9 months and always spoke highly of her. I never indulged myself but she did look great when I was their on vacation.

I heard that one of my favorites was at Carolinas. I took a detour in my boat to St Maarten to visit for a day.
I went into Carolinas and just missed Angie as she had gone back to her room for an hour.
I waited--She is worth the wait.
The last time I saw her was 3 years ago in Bogota. When she came out she smiled and said my name. The chicas have a memory like the Watson IBM computer.
She said are we going to the boat and dinner at LaRosa-like we did 5 years ago? I said I was sorry but we were sailing away in the evening.
We went to the back for an hour. She is still a spectacular kisser and has an amazing spinner body. Almost 6 pack abs with a very nice see+new bolt-ONS.
She was as good in the bed as always and worth sailing 150 miles out of the way to be with her. She has been there for 9 months and is going home soon.
He is a soft sweet chica and a must do. I have been seing her for about 8 years. Her birthday is one day this week.

Simpson Bay area bars Lotus, Rhythm and Booze, Soggy Dollar, Red Piano all have local girls free lancing but they think their pussy is made of gold. Carnivale is in full swing through April so check out those events too for something to do as well.
Don't forget to report back on your trip, enjoy SXM! I'll be back there Apr 26.

Hi all,
I'm returning to St. Maarten next week after a 5 yr absence & would appreciate updates on a couple of questions please.
I don't have much of a posting history on the International Guide, but I am a senior member and contributor on the US Guide (RI, CT mostly). My international travel experience has been limited recently but in the Caribbean I've been to the DR, ABCs, Costa Rica & St Maarten. So I know the ropes a bit.
Five years ago I liked the format very much in particular Seaman's, Carolina's. But I spent time in see Blanca, Crystal, El Capitan as well. I wish to repeat that positive experience next week and am reading the Board to understand new names, hurricane damage and the like.
My questions have to do with safety near the clubs and transport. Feel free to pm me if preferable to public response.
While I had great inside experience last visit the parking lots and walking between clubs was dicey. In the evening there was outside security, but the officers cautioned to park as close as possible to the door and walk in groups as there were clusters of young local males hanging outside.
Second question is transport. Last time I rented a car which was great to get to Casa Blanca, etc. , but I dread the potential insurance liability issues and don't intend to this visit.
My impression is Uber / Lyft are not options there and taxis might be the best to / from the clubs options. I will be close-by in Philipsburg, could walk if it were safe past the pond.
Advice and guidance on these 2 issues, or others, is most appreciated.
Many thanks in advance.
C.

Thanks for posting that!
Funny, I met her while I was eating at the Asian restaurant.
I was having some soup.
I asked the normal night time waitress, Diana, for some bread.
It was like I had just asked for caviar, Lol.
They hunted the kitchen and found 2 slices of bread, and brought them to me on a plate.
Anyway, Luna comes into the restaurant, and I hear her ask for a sandwich.
They tell her that the Gringo just got the last of the bread.
She looked sad, I really didn’t need the bread, so I delivered my bread, to her table and offered it to her for her sandwich.
A friendship then blossomed, Lol
Very nice lady.

Posts: 1065Just back from a few days on the island.
Thank you to Shark for the map that you made a while back, and the all the guys here for good intel.
I was actually there to meet up with a girl I had met in Colombia, but of course made the rounds to all the clubs.
For me, Carolinas was by far the best club, followed by Crystals and Defiance.
I actually didn't see any girls at Crystals or Defiance that interested me, however, they had girls available.
I hooked up 3 times, with 3 different girls in Carolinas.
They were all very nice and sweet, with one standout, Luna from Cartagena.
Great time with her, and afterwards we ate a bowl of Frosted Flakes in her room, LOL.
I saw the cereal box on her refrigerator, told her I loved them, and she insisted that I have a bowl.
Very nice girl!
Overall, I enjoyed my time, however, these clubs and girls are nowhere near the clubs and girls that are actually in Colombia.
The price for a 30 min session is OK, takeout prices are actually funny to me.
One girl at Carolinas quoted me $600 plus the fine of $70 to the club.
I know it's negotiable, however, still very high.
I realize it's not Colombia, however, for a guy that's accustomed to Colombia, it's way over priced.
I was very nice to the girls and told them that I am glad they're making good money.
And I really am happy for them. Most are very sweet.
I know most are there to make big money to help family, buy a small house in Colombia or to study.
I also speak Spanish very well so I was able to have a nice conversation and bond before I chose any girl for fun.
Good time!
Thanks again for the reports and intel!
