The US has been putting pressure on Saint Maarten and Curacao because they are not doing much to combat [CodeWord908]. Also with the rise of illegal Venezuelan chicas on the islands and bada bing corruption case, the police and the public prosecutor had to step up so if the other bars doesn't obey the law you already know what is about to happen.

SAFETY: One of the concerns in the past was the dark parking lot at Sunset Retreat. It is across the street from the club, which is well isolated. You have to park there and walk up a stone stair from the street to enter the club in the evening. They have a high powered street light there now that does a nice job lighting the parking lot.

One night, I was at Carolinas between 1 and 2 am All parking spots were taken along the main road and along the side of the building. I parked further up the road that runs along the side of the building. The road zig-zags into a new housing area and continues out to the main road. As I was returning to my car, a gang of 10 older teenage boys walked toward me with a couple of fake uzis and long sticks. I turned around and walked back toward the club, when they approached asking for money. I am a black belt, but not going to take any chances on this one given the ratios. I went back into the club until they moved on and then went back to my car. Avoid parking there. If anything, park along the road in front of Carolinas further up toward the youth center.

TRAFFIC: Not bad as only one cruise ship in port every day. No construction delays anywhere. Cruise ship schedule gets heavy starting in Nov, so expect some slow going while ships are in.

NIGHTCLUBS: Two new nightclubs in Simpson Bay. Very young clientele, and lots of young, lewd and disrespectful local men. No police presence that I could see. Be smart and observant. Seeing this behavior all over the island, including Marigot.

My usual approach when I come to SM is to visit all the clubs to assess the talent and have some sessions at the different clubs with chicas I find attractive to me. Then, of those, I will go back for extended sessions in the room. If the chemistry is right, I will then think about doing something in the day or night with one of them. This year, I had a favorite return to SM who I had not seen for 2 years. She is at Carolinas. I took her for a TLN. Picked her up at 9 pm Went for a nice dinner and then back to the hotel. Some sex before sleeping and again in the morning. Then out to breakfast and back to the club. I am not a huge fan of TLN. She wanted $300, and the bar fine at Carolinas was $70. A nice time with her, but more GFE than crazy sex. For the cost of the night, dinner and breakfast, I could do 10 half hour sessions or 5 one hour sessions in the clubs. I will only do TLNs with girls I have a special bond to. Remember, the cost of the girl is totally negotiable. I have had many TLNs in past years where the chica asked for nothing. Just wanted to feel normal for an evening. But I would always gift her when I dropped her off.

The Hypnotic immigration raid opened up some opportunities this week. The one chica who came back to my hotel with me then wanted to do a beach day. I was able to pick her up in.

The morning and we went to Friar's Bay for the afternoon. Great beach with excellent beach bar. Great food. If you dine there, you get two chaises, two drink tables and an umbrella for $10. Great conversation and fun with her. From there, you can take a little known trail up to Happy Bay Beach. Sometimes no one there, or never more than a handful. Clothing optional there. In short order she was naked and playing in the water and sand. We openly messed around there for a good hour. Then, she wanted me back in the hotel and we had an awesome session. Followed with watching a scary Halloween movie on TV. Back to Hypnotic for check in by 8 pm She did not ask for anything, just a fun day out. I can honestly say it was one of the most fun days I have ever had with a date. But I did gift her when I dropped her off.

Clubs that are open in the afternoon usually tail off between 3 and 4. From that time until evening check in, the girls are free to go run errands, sleep, etc. This is a good time for a quick trip to Orient Beach or out to lunch with a girl you are not sure you want to do a TLN with, but an opportunity to get to know her. She should not be looking for compensation during these times. You are doing her a favor.

Don't get caught up with having to pay, other than the bar fine, if there is one. It is totally negotiable. Develop chemistry with a chica so that she wants to be with you, and you control the activities and the pursestrings.

In another strange twist this year, a woman who I have know for several years who works retail here, asked to get together. She is a beautiful Colombian MILF. I have seen her several times and it has been great. The mongering game has made it easy for me to approach women everywhere, and it is fun to hit on the locals who work the hotels, restaurants and retail on the island. You sometimes get lucky. And you get the TLN benefits for free. Awesome alternative. But you have to work at it.

Overall, the girls are younger than ever. Most early to mid-20's, and a few a bit older. They are speaking better English, even the DR girls. My Spanish and their English makes for a much better conversation and leads to some good things. Learn some if you can. Most of the girls have meat on the bone and some junk in the trunk. Hard to find the small spinner type these days. The girls are circulating a little better than the past few years, and not locked on their cell phones as much. All the chicas I have spoken with have been very friendly and pleasant. If you insist on having a perfect "10", you will find it difficult to be satisfied. The Colombian girls often have fake breasts and some junk in the trunk. But they are great sex partners, and perhaps the best in the world at it. They like being pampered in the room. The DR girls play hard and you definitely need to be an alpha dog talking with them and taking control of them in the room. They will take good care of you once you establish your control. As I have said in prior posts, when I started looking at the chicas as packages of looks, personality and talent, I realized that girls that were not stunningly beautiful or great bodies were great sessions. You will have much more fun if you approach the chicas to start conversation. They love men with confidence.

The immigration issues are definitely having its effects on the talent pool. As I reported on another post, Carolinas has, by far, the best looking talent in the house. But may get torpedoed next week if the rumor comes true. Hypnotic perhaps can bounce back over time when they can replentish the stable. A stunner at Sunset Retreat and at Bada Bing were great finds. But a lot of so-so looks this year. You just have to manage your expectations so that you limit any disappointment. Get over the looks part, these girls are fun and usually good or great in the room. I still am having a great week.

It has been a crazy different week for me in St. Maarten, which I will explain in a separate post, but here is the current rundown on the clubs:

DEFIANCE: Closed.

HYPNOTIC: Bar is open. Rooms are closed. Girls that were nabbed by immigration not able to return to club. This leaves only a handful of decent looking girls. Good opportunity this week forTLN or TLD. I like this bar. Nice sound system, good bar area, easy circulation. They expect to return to normal next week, but the number of girls will be small. Too bad, the talent level had been good here.

EL CAPITAN: Maybe 20 girls, mostly DR girls this year. I did meet a Brazilian girl there last night. But the talent level is nowhere near prior years. Great bar area to talk and play with the chicas. Easy circulation.

Casablanca: Only about 10 girls. All appear to be DR girls. Club not open in afternoon. A couple of slender girls, but a lot of beef on the rest. Bar is huge, sound is great, easy circulation. $5 cover is a first, but you get one drink with it up to $5.

SUNSET RETREAT: Only less than 10 girls working. Usually all DR. Absolutely the best body out of all the clubs. I did not have a chance to meet her but will try to get back tonight for a session. Light skin, flowing dark hair, great rack and slender hips with a great ass. She danced for several songs eventually removing all her wardrobe. Small bar opens 4-7. Lower evening bar after that. Nice bar area, perimeter seating, good sound, easy circulation. But no air conditioning operating which makes the bar area hot and humid.

CRYSTAL: Less than 10 girls. Small bar and seating area. Mediocre talent, but a mix of body types and skin color. Across from Carolinas.

PETITE CHATEAU: About 15 girls. Mostly DR women. Predominantly locals come here. Girls with lots of beef and junk in the trunk. I did meet a very tall, dark skinned Colombian there last night that was very pleasant. Bar is huge and circles the interior. Seating around the bar and along the walls. Great circulation.

CAROLINA: 25 girls, mostly Colombian of different skin tones. By far the best collection of talent, which has been consistent over the years. Not so last year, but definitely this year. But the bar is small, and seating is cramped. Many girls sit on the far side of the room which makes it very difficult to approach because of the congestion. Music is too loud here. Ranks very low on the amenities, but high on the talent. Rumor continues that they will be closed down next week for immigration investigation similar to Hypnotic.

BADA BING: Just re-opened last week after 5 month shutdown. OK bar area, long dance runway in center area, and lots of seating. Very dark inside and smoking is permitted (I hate that). 15-20 attractive girls from different countries. Girls want $150 for 1/2 hour in the room; $250 for the hour. $30 for a lap dance. One chica was a gorgeous young DR girl, with a great rack, and slender hips with a great ass. She wanted $100, so I took her for a session. I just cound not walk away from her. Club opens late and goes to 5 or 6 am.

Visited the island with a bud last week. A few comments, hopefully they help.

The selection at Carolina's and Hypnotic were hands-down the best I've seen in years. After 5 days of at least 2 sessions each per day, there were still chicas there that were coming out of the woodwork, leaving us wishing for more time on the island. On the other hand, the selections at Crystal, El Capitain, and Casablanca were dismal at best.

At both Carolina's and Hypnotic, prices are $5 for the room per half hour, and $50 for the chica per half hour. The $50 is a loose rule though. A couple of times we were only asked for $40. A couple of times we were asked for $60 (and paid the standard $50).

We did not encounter any issue with taking girls back to their rooms, nor did we encounter any chica politics. They all seemed to be in great moods and talkative and friendly, even if you just came back from a session with their roommate.

We did a couple of afternoon no-multa no-chica-fee takeouts (3:00-8:00) with some beach and pool time. Again, drama-free.

TLN was offered a few times, but we didn't partake. The highest price we were quoted was $500, the lowest $200 (which I was close to jumping on).

At least 3 Venezuelans chicas there, which was 3 more than I'd ever seen there.

All in all an incredible trip. As much as I enjoyed the atmosphere of Campo, there's just something about SXM that keeps us coming back.

Police raided FKK Colosseum in Augsburg GE a few years back looking for undocumented workers, only days after I visited.

Last week I was at Carolinas.

I promise I will forewarn the Forum before I pay a visit to the next establishment.

Must be a black cloud that follows me once in while.

There has been a coalition of forces trying to shut down the adult entertainment industry on the island for a few years now. Each time they swing their sword they get a little bit closer to doing so. Thankfully the Motherland has kept this coalition at bay. But I'm afraid there may very well come a time they succeed. Succeed from the point of eliminating the good talent from coming in and the business will then die on the vine.

We can only wait and see, I'll be there next Friday and will continue with any updates. In the interim lets hope Scubatoo gives us some good news over the next few days.

First night back in St. Maarten. First stop was to visit a chica at Carolinas that was here a couple of years ago. Arrived around 9:30 to a full stable of Colombian girls. At least 25-30 girls. The club has replaced the old dinner tables in the center of the club with numerous padded couches and chairs. Bar area the same, and about the only area where you can carry on some conversation without being drowned out by the excessively loud sound system. Probably 10 or 15 patrons mixed in, many of whom do not mingle with the girls. The girls are young, probably early to mid 20's, and classic Colombian. Attractive with a little junk in the trunk, I would gladly have had sessions with most of them. But thanks to Facebook and WhatsApp, one of my favorites let me know she was back in SM and waiting for me. Her English had improved, and my Spanish as well. So it made the session that much more fun. I will probably do a TLN with her sometime this week. Unfortunately, girls are girls no matter where in the world you find yourself. These girls have amazing abilities to know who is whose guy, and I am now marked if I return to Carolinas this week. Either stay with the same girl and have more fun in the room, or risk creating a stir by shunning "your girl" and taking another back to the room. Your favorite will then hate you, and likely the girl that stole you. This is why I play at all the clubs. I can maintain something with someone at one club, then slip away to the others.

After a lengthy session in the room at Carolinas, I decided to check out Hypnotic before heading back to my hotel. Last year, Hypnotic had a great collection of women. A bit older, but a mix of girls from several countries. I am color blind, and love girls from all countries. But at 11:30, there were only a handful of girls there and a few patrons. An attractive blonde Colombian latched on right away, and she was well built, petite, and really sweet. We attempted to go to the room, but told we co uld not (unbeknownst to me about the immigration raid). So she asked me to take her back to my hotel. We negotiated a fair price and spent a few hours back at my hotel before I took her back. No bar fine. This was a great deal and non-stop action in my hotel room left me totally spent on my first day back.

I will visit this chica at Hypnotic again this week and will see whether any of the girls nabbed through immigration are able to return.

I did not venture over to Crystal. The usual couple of girls standing in the doorway. And El Capitan parking lot was full. I will have a look at each during the afternoon today, along with Petite Chateau. Last year, PC had several very attractive DR girls that were part of a very nice line-up at EC. I happened to be at EC when a bunch of girls were "ordered" over to PC. They had been hired for PC, but were working EC. They were not happy about it. Apparently, the same owner.

Oh well, a nice start to my week with the caveat about the immigration investigations. Hopefully, it will not take away from the fun.

Having just arrived in St. Maarten, the last thing I thought I would be writing about would be a crackdown on the clubs by the government. Without the benefit of having read or heard of the article in the SMN referenced in a prior post, I went to Carolinas and Hypnotic last night. I first went to Carolinas. While there, I was told by a couple of the girls that the club would be closed next week for immigration investigations. Later, I went over to Hypnotic, and told that you could not take any of the girls back to their rooms. I was told that visits to the room would again be permitted tonight. In light of the SMN article, we will see.

As I understand it, this is all in follow-up to the investigation about [CodeWord908] allegations against Casablanca a couple years ago. The girls have operated under Entertainment Permits for many years, but the St. Maarten government stopped processing those permits sometime last year. Instead, the girls had to secure a Residency Permit and then could contract for work with the clubs. Apparently, even that process was slowed considerably and many of the girls ended up as "walk in" employees with neither permit. Compounding this may be the mass exodus of citizens of Venezuela who are finding their ways to other countries around South America, Latin America, and the Caribbean, especially the Dutch islands of Curacao and Aruba. I think these types of raids are specifically looking for valid Residency Permits. In the meantime, it is my understanding that the SM government has been directed to find a resolution to the lack of Entertainment Permits being issued.

I will see how this plays out this week as I visit the other clubs. It would be a real bummer to be here next week and find Carolinas closed for the week. I will report on what I find.

Looks to me like "selective prosecution. " I wonder if the owner and / or manager did "something" to "someone" and this is a payback. But, if the person described as the "manager" is the same "fat lady" that demanded additional $10 for "the 2nd hour" while I used their room for less than 1 hour (for which I paid for in advance), I'm kind of happy if she's not going to be "managing" that place for some time.

Fun (IMHO) statement from the lawyer: "adult entertainment industry on Sint Maarten, one of the core economical pillars for our touristic given economy" - I hope SXM doesn't become known as "another Thailand".

Does anyone know what the lawyer means by "the illegally, meaning without any license and without being tolerated by Government, operating adult entertainment clubs on Sint Maarten, where persons render services without any medical or other screening, blatantly. These venues are well known. " - Does anyone know what "clubs" is he talking about? I wonder if he means Platinum and other high-end establishments or really low-end, off-the-grid stuff.
