Much better to make prearrangements the night before. Clubs open at 11:00, but always a risk that a bunch of chicas do not show up before noon. Do you have the patience and time to wait?

You would think that chicas are not available before 11:00 am (as you know the chicas sleep in the same rooms at night). Not always true. Unless something has changed Carolinas and Hypnotique open for business at 11 am. There are likely a small selection of chicas in the bar then but if you make an arrangement the night before you should be able to start your activities about that time. Your girl may have to do some room shuffling if her roommate isn't quite awake then.

Went to St. Marteen (last year). The report is not fresh but I think there haven't been big chances over there.

We have been in the brothels around Suckergarden. I had a look into four of them.

I am sorry can't remember all the names (it was definitely El Capitan, Carolina and two others). But they are all close together.

At least I am not fond of these addresses. All clubs are looking unclean and simply furnished.

I went twice with girls into rooms. Both girls were sympathetic and nice looking. I give them a 7 (when 10 is best).

As I am used to brothels and FKK in Germany, Austria etc. I like when the locations or rooms are splendid and nice arranged.

I didn't recognize this in St. Marteen. The rooms lookalike shacks. Not dirty at all but very simple and all the private stuff from the girls lies around.

The girls did their job not bad but not very good. The price for half an hour was a lot under 100 (can't remember exactly -sorry).

Well, if you want reasonable and price-worthy happy ends, it may be good to go there. If you look for more erotic adventure in a pleasant surrounding, all these places are not recommended.

I also visited the Platinum Club. This strip bar is splendid and much more luxurious. European style. Girls are from East-Europe and look as girls you get in Europe.

You only get there private strips for some money. We also took two girls outside of the Platinum for one night. We chose them because they spoke perfect English and looked very good (8 from 10).

Costs a lot (1000 each) but we had also a lot of fun. Definitely 1000 is too much but I am on holiday. So what.

OK gentlemen, as you can tell from my history, I'm a new member and first time poster. First trip to St. Maartens. Arrived on the island 6/28/16, did a quick check in then checked out the local scenery. Did a quick drive by and found El Capitan, Hypnotic and Chrystal's (all nicely marked in neon). As many previous posters described, Carolina's is in front of Chrystal's, but it's not marked. It's the gray stone building across the street. Have you ever considered San Andres Island? It's located off the east coast of Nicaragua but is actually owned by Colombia. It's Colombia's honeymoon tropical paradise, with packages sold at major shopping areas in Bogota, Cali, Barranquilla, etc. Copa Airlines flies to San Andres from Panama and mainland Colombia. The entire island is surrounded by warm and crystal blue waters and there are small islands like Johnny Cay and El Acquario that you can visit on easy day trips. The only downside to the island is that most of the hotels were built in the 1970's and 1980's (cocaine profits?) and haven't really been maintained, so many of them are a little run down. I stayed at a small bed and breakfast on the west side of the island called Playa Tranquilo. It isn't near a sandy beach so a rental car or golf cart would be necessary.

Oh, and there are three clubs on the island. The one I visited was a place called Sexy Bar. Damage: 100,000 COP for 30 minutes.

Hi Quag, thanks for the current info as mine is dated. I went to SanAndres in 2005 with a babe I met in the old Seamans earlier that year, we went as a couple after she got back to Colombia. The allure of SA back then was Colombianas are able to go and it's a Caribbean island. So it has that going for it, which is nice.

But now Colombianas can go to Europe / Schengen and Aruba and SXM with just a passport, probably Curacao as well.

I thought the beaches and everything in SA were mediocre, sorry, compared to a "real" Caribbean islands but better than Santa Marta Rodadero (See below) and Cartagena.

Johnny Key was a nice beach as was the snorkeling in el acuario, but you can't stay at either one as there are no hotels and el acuario is too tiny for anything but the little building that is there, same with Tayrona Park a beautiful beach in Colombia).

So that leaves the rest of the island which for me was pretty lackluster, and then the ramshackle hotels. Our hotel was nice and we had a 2nd floor balcony beach view but the all inclusive food was a little too Colombian. Smiley face goes here.

San Andres also had and abundance of pushy roving beach vendors that speak english spanish and creole french. So you can't pull the "I don't speak Spanish" thing. Even if you pull out a language they don't speak they don't give up. They were over the top (like they are in Cartagena), a real bummer. Less vendors / less pushy in Rodadero and almost non existent are the roving beach vendors in SXM.

I guess I am just spoiled with SXM since 1988 and a slew of other islands I've been to.

Truth be told I go to SXM for the beach (es), the quality and variety of food and wine, sports betting, Cuban cigars, nightlife, I can rent a car and do all sorts of things, various beach bars, duty free booze, and most importantly the "beaches I don't need to make a day trip to get to" as the beaches at most hotels are stunning. I like to be right on the beach. It's my thing.

Did I mention the beaches? My first 10 or so times on SXM I didn't even know there were brothels and then when a taxi driver took me for the first time to Seamans Club and Kappers in 1995 -"Taxi driver, where are all the single women on this island? " - then it was just the icing on the cake. Now that I can bring my own sand the brothels are just the cherry on top. This August I might slip away for a quickie as the girl I am bringing is an avid napper. Just to be a little naughty.

Truth be told again, before SXM was open to Colombians I felt the better deal for "bringing your own sand to the beach" was Santa Marta's Rodadero beach, easy / quick to get to via non stop plane (from within Colombia of course), decent restaurants, decent beach, decent places / bars to hang out in. Just more good stuff compared to San Andres. JMHO.

San Andres was always reasonably priced and gave you bragging rights as a Colombian.

Jet setters would brag about going to Cuba or Cancun / Alcapulco / Puerta Vallarta.

Now the big bragging rights since the Schengen thing are SXM, Aruba, Paris Italy etc.

Lately I am "bringing my own sand to the beach" which is BYOC (Bring your own Colombiana) as this ends up costing less and you get a break from "the hunt", which sometimes hunting can be a bummer but is usually lots of fun.
