Usually, if I'm interested in a girl, I'm looking for eye-contact, smile and just say hello. Of course gentle and light touching is generally considered o.k. too. It depends on the lady herself and the situation. I only initiate kissing girls (on the cheek) if they already know me from former visits.

Don't worry too much, it's very easy to get in contact. Much less complicated and formal than in "real" life ;–) !

If you're "just" chatting with her and introducing yourself, you're not comitted. As soon as you agree to go to a room though or agree to a BJ i.e or other sexual services, you're comitted.

You can use any topic at all to get things started: the weather, the state of the club, etc.. Nothing too complicated.

I certainly wouldn't touch her right away unless I was more or less semi-committed to taking it a few steps further. That might be misconstrued.

You sit respectfully a few feet away or across from her, start to talk and then if you like what you hear from her and she shows some sign of interest, you move in closer.

LOL I don't recall ever shaking hands. You just walk up and say hello and chances are she will push up against you if shy, or perhaps be all over groping at your dick if one of the aggressive ones. The reason I ask...I am thinking of maybe flying in and out of Berlin this time around to change things up a bit. I understand sex flows like a river in that city (correct?). Can anyone comment on the sex scene in Berlin vs. FRA in respect to FKK?
