City Garden Pattaya. Tower be. Levels 7 and 8. I do not remember the unit numbers. But the rooms on both floors were just not up to my acceptance standards.

You have to find a reliable owner.

Come to think of it I did not have much of a bone with the owner either, as she refunded me almost the entire charge after I had checked in, looked at the place and called her to say I cannot stay here.

And it's in the same building as the LK so you just enter from the street (not Beach Rd), buy a soda, exit the back with your girl (s), turn right & you'll see the elevator. P. O. C. (piece of cake.).

    At mind

Staying at at mind residence this trip. Great value for closeness to action and with good rooms and amenities. GF friendly and staff very helpful. Would recommend it and book direct with hotel as cheaper. There are a few at mind places and this one is in Soi 4 just back from 2nd Road.

    Happy Hunting.

Airbnb can be fantastic, OK, or terrible. I have had all 3 experiences.

Remember that many airbnb are simply individuals who are trying to make extra cash. If you like what you get and the price you paid, life is great. But if there is a problem, chances are it will not be taken care of in a timely manner.

There were 2 guys that I met in Pattaya who checked into Airbnb places where the A/C. Broke. They were stuck without A/C for days. Thailand is a hot country and it's hard to sleep without A/C.

Having said that, I met many others who were satisfied with their Airbnb places.

My advice is that if you are a bit picky, better to go to a well reviewed hotel. If you don't like your hotel room, or if something breaks, they will move you (unless they are sold out).

I don't think the website company checks and visits every apartment. What makes a reliable owner are the reviews from the customers, so if you want to book an apartment from Airbnb you need to read through all the reviews.

Thanks in advance for any replies.
Never stayed there myself but the beach end of Soi 10 is a good choice. Very central location and quiet because there are no bars in the vicinity. You will have some traffic noise from Beach Road though.

The hotel is brand new, like most hotels in Soi 10. Should be girl friendly, it would surprise me if it's not. Gets reasonably good reviews on Tripadvisor.
