We too are looking to stay at this hotel. Is it GF friendly? If not, any idea about the daily additional charges we can expect?
Also, how did you manage to get the room price down? Did you call Expedia up direct?
Would be good to hear from you, as the place we usually stay at in PAT, the Royal Orchid in N PAT, has fallen down in our estimations recently.

I stay here frequently and there is NO joiner fee. After midnite, I think, you have to get to your room from Soi 6-1 and a guard will take the ID of your
girl(s). In the morning they or she can pick it up in the bar. If you get a room facing Soi 6 - 1 it'll be a little less noisey; if that matters. Anything goes on Soi 6

The location you are interested on above is View Talay 6- Pattaya Beach Condominium, Second Road. Pattaya, Moo 10, Nongprue, Banglamung, ChonBuri 20150 E-mail vitsixatyahoo.com Web: www.Vt6.com. Summary. Location is right next to Central Festival, between Soi 9 / 11.
When it comes to rental the women you want to speak to is Mariane, her number is 082-2562595. For the month of May and June the price is the same. Based on your 24 day stay it would cheaper if you rent for the whole month which based on the conversation there are Condos for rent. The price range quoted was 27,000 / 25,000 / 22,000 / 20,000 priice is dependent on which side of the Condo is located and size and anmenities. The cheapest which is 20, 000 rounds out to something like 666 baht per night for a Studio.
Some do not have Wi-Fi. Rooms are cleaned daily!
There is also a small Hotel, on Soi 11, Called Baan Salay, has a special for 999 right now and a monthly rate of 18, 000 per month. Across from the Nartical Inn.
Good luck,
LBM

now, back at the diana inn again. if you leave the hotel, turn left and keep walking, the first place you will see is kiss restaurant. very popular with tourists and ex pats alike. keep walking and you will pass more bars on both sides of the road. very quickly, on the left, you will spot tim's go-go. inside normally a good selection of girls. out the back a good selection of pool tables. a good place to watch english soccer if you are into that type of thing. tim's boutique hotel is located in a side street. might be another one to consider. keep walking and you will see the avenue on the left. like big c you will find many famous names here. boots, adidas, mcdonald's etc. there is also a very popular irish pub called shenanigans. inside you will find a bowling alley, movie theatre and fitness center. the fitness center has a very aggressive marketing policy with, sometimes, stunning girls, trying to drag potential customers inside. keep walking and you will see the d2 hotel on your left. a fairly new hotel. might be worth checking out. on the other side of the road you will see two sois (soi yamoto and soi post office). lots more bars in these sois and massage parlours. in soi post office, obviously where the local post office is located, many of the massage parlours specialize in two girl massages. they seem to like to massage you in pairs. they normally have some kind of specials. keep walking and you will see the royal garden plaza on your right. another shopping mall with loads of shops and loads of place to eat. the marriott is also here. another place you might want to consider. keep walking and you will pass the fraser hotel (google it) and a bit further a few more side streets with bars and hotels. this is pattaya land sois 1, 2 & 3. keep walking and you will see some traffic lights. turn right at the lights and walk for 2 minutes. on your left will be the entrance to the walking street. not worth having a look during the day but, at night, this is said to be one of the most exciting streets in thailand. once the neon lights click on the street is transformed into a big playground for adults. there are many go-go bars and clubs. it's expensive. a bit of a money pit but, you can have a great time here. go-go bars that i like are heaven above and angelwitch (good shows).
as for a 'wingman' to show you the ropes. you might find many people in the diana inn area who are willing to take on this role.
have fun.

Secondly you can do Nova Park Serviced Apartments almost across from Soi 6. There is a side soi, something like blah blah blah soi 4. That turns into Soi AR and right there is Nova Park.
16, 000 baht or so for a month in a guest place. A little more for a full one bedroom apartment. Down side is that the apartments do not have couches only four chairs (two at table and then two chairs with side table infront of TV). Bed is big, full fridge OK cooking areas etc. NO BALCONY in the apartments but balcony in the studio's. Apartments have sliding windows so can open up and not use Air Con (yeah some folks actually don't like A/C as Pattaya is not really that hot compared to one's home country.) Jamesons is right there and decent food, it's close the back way to Big see and you can go the backroads through to other places.
I'd strongly suggest Talay for location, how nice it is etc. But it ain't cheap.
If you are looking for serviced apartments Pattaya doesn't have much. Whatever you find let me know via PM or post as I'd be interested too. There are some higher end Places north and south but not really in Pattaya Central yet. Some new construction going that route but not there yet.

I am not sure about that? Being only long times. I am going to be in View Talay 6 next month for 10 days. But I noticed in the calendar Tik has for the room I saw people had booked it for much less than 10 days. And she listed a daily fee. Send her an email, she is quick to respond. I have NOT stayed here before but will report on same after the visit
