VT6 technically allows unlimited visitors. There is building security but they are easy to avoid by walking up to the 4th floor and taking the main elevators, or using the "staff" elevators located in the garage. Honey's coffee house is a reliable agent for Vt6 rentals. Note that Vt6 is a big albatross. Even though it's smack in the middle of the action, it's size makes it seem a bit dark and isolated.

Is it guest friendly or is there a joiner fee? Price and location look good and it is an apartotel.

LK Empress. City side room
Also, would anyone be able to comment on expected noise levels if I book room on the city side? I can cancel and pay a little more for pool side. I don't care about looking out the window. Just whether it will be an issue with noise.

The guest does have to leave their ID and the desk will check on your well-being when your guest picks up their card.
OK thanks! I think I read that girls do have to be 20+?

Wondering if anyone has comments about it. It will cost twice as much as Empress but does look nicer all around. Wondering what type of people stay. If mostly families / couples etc. I believe it should be guest friendly but still would like to know.

I stayed there a few months ago. Staff = 10+ , incredible friendly. It's very, very boutique tho. I stayed during high season and I hardly ever walked into other guests tho so don't worry about who stays there. I didn't ever eat breakfast or used swimming pool tho so when there you might get a better impression.
Yes it is girl friendly so doubt that changed. Reception (later in evening just a random security dude or so) just takes ID. Don't remember them calling in the morning tho but maybe you can request them doing so.
Now price / value wise it's ridiculously bad. I travel 7/8 months a year and always think of this place when thinking of one that's overpriced by 60%. They charge double as most other places and I thought the rooms were very average at best. Imagine sleeping in some ikea room. Felt all a bit cheap and trying bit hard and just can't see why they ask so much for the rooms, except location or so. Doubt they try to target monger market and more the hipster crowd or something that think they want something fancy (I fell for it so haha). I like to mostly only stay in upscale places but this one def felt out of place considering the amount I paid and what you get. Note also that rooms facing beach road have lot of noise coming in. Doesn't seem well insulted.
So stay there if you'd like it is a nice place with lovely staff but it isn't anything really fancy if that's what you hope for.
OK thank you for the feedback! I guess I'll stick with what I have.

Just a thought but if something bad were to happen to you your phone would definitely not be left behind at the scene of the crime.

Unixx Condo. No ID check and discret back door from the parking next to the lift. But you need a double key card for you and your girls.

Hi guys,
I'm planning a one week trip to Pattaya and I'm thinking to book either LK Residence or LK Metropole Hotel. As far as I understand both hotels are girl friendly which is condition #1. Also I found the Thai climate too hot and need a (clean) bathtub and both hotels have that. Also the bathtub can be interesting place when you came back with a girl for the night. The location also seems very good. I have never been in Pattaya, but it seems that around there is a lot of party streets. LK Metro, Soi Honey. Please can someone confirm me if my observation and expectations about the location are correct.
Both hotels seems perfect choice based on my criteria but what about the noise? I can not sleep when it is noisy and I'll need that to restore the lost energy So if you have been at LK Residence or LK Metropole Hotel can you comment on:
- noise.
- is it clean.
- is it a good location for the purpose of the trip that every one of us visit Pattaya. I mean libraries, theaters, galleries, etc.
Cheers,
The LK hotels are top notch. In fact, have an upcoming stay booked at LK Empress next month. The hotels you mention are in the heart of LK Metro. Another option just outside LK Metro, on Second Road & Soi 10; Intimate Boutique. Very clean hotel, very guest friendly and close to all the "major attractions".
