Posts: 523Thanks Good Enough, but the Hotel is full at 1st, 2nd and 8th of May. So, I have to find something different. Last time when I was in Pattaya, I saw a appartment House, or Condo, next to Central Festival Center. As far I understood they also rent on a monthly basis. Since I want stay 24 night, it might be a good choice. Do one know about the name of that Condo /Hotel? It's a high rise building.

The tailor shop, which is adjacent to the outdoor eating area does nice work. I had three short sleeve silk shirts made to my specifications for B700 a shirt, and the workmanship is entirely satisfactory.
I would stay here again with no hesitation at all, assuming the same deal were available.

Posts: 4050Amari Garden Resort & Towers
I've been here for a couple of nights, and had originally booked the Nova Platinum, where I had stayed before. The cost, having booked on line was about $57 a night for a deluxe room , with free Internet in the room, but no free breakfast. The hotel was okay, with a plasma TV in the room, a small, but well-equipped bathroom and a decent king size bed. However, it's deteriorated somewhat since I stayed there about a year ago.
Last night, through expedia.com, I booked a room at the Amari Garden Resort & Towers, a five start hotel on the beach in N. Pattaya. The quoted rate from the hotel was B5,000, but I got it for $68 plus $12 in taxes. Though I booked a standard room, I was immediately upgraded to a small suite, and it's beautiful, with teakwood furnishings throughout, a small balcony overlooking the pool and a slice of ocean view. Breakfast is included, but not the Internet. The quote price of the Internet in the room is about $20 a day, which was quickly bargained down to $6. This is a true 5 star and may not be what everyone is looking for, but for those who want some luxury, it's outstanding.

Hi,
I am a frequent visitor to BKK but have not yet mongered in PTY. I would like to stay in a girl-friendly hotel that is on the nicer side and short walking distance to the main entertainment areas. I stayed once at the Marriott in PTY with my GF and it was quite nice. But no idea if it is close to the action. Expensive is okay if it fits the need.
Thank you in advance.

Better to contribute some actual information about nice hotels.
I always stay in the Sandy Spring in soi 13 Beach road and I think that is really nice.
GF, nice staff, nice rooms, balconies with seaview.
Better if the members here write about hotels they actually have stayed in, and can give others some advice if good or not.Last edited by Admin; 10-17-13 at 01:11.

You're trying too hard and you use too many unnecessary commas.

Posts: 187Hey, some mongers complain about the
Room cleanliness, girl friendliness, hot water, insect infestations, the breakfast, etc. Of Pattaya hotels! They warn fellow mongers to stay away along with a personal "will not return" statement!
BUT, this Chinese chap took "customer disatisfaction" to a new level!
http://www.Pattayadailynews.com/en/2...=Yahoo%21+Mail
Let this be a warning to other Pattaya hotels about the potential consequences of denying a "horny" monger his "foursome"!
Cheers!
