I've been noticing a lot of Airbnb listings in Pattaya and the vast majority of them look like entire decent condos. I've stayed at quite a few Airbnbs but only in North America. The Pattaya Airbnbs seem to average $20-$30 per night, again for entire condos.

Just wondering what the experience has been like for guys who stayed in Airbnb properties in Pattaya.

I rented a house with a pool through Airbnb in Pattaya Bon Kai area last year and everything went as planned. No different from my Airbnb experiences in Europe. You might already be aware that two court rulings have found Airbnb operations being against the law in Thailand but looks like apartment owners are taking their chances and continuing to offer apartments for short time lease.

Someone recommended it to me last trip. It was a perfect location for me. Right in the middle of everything bet yet pretty quiet rooms. Your dates will determine if it's within your budget. I've seen it vary quite a bit. I stayed in the suite with the balcony facing the beach. Very clean, great service and great view. Pool is ok. I'm not big into pools. I like the pool bars more than anything and that they didn't have. I would be staying there again on my upcoming trip but prices are crazy around NYE. Most of everything is close to double or booked. I think I found a diamond in the rough with Nemo's guesthouse.

Let me correct you on that. You get charged 1000 baht if you are a dumb ass and take the girl or girls pass reception in the front. Take the girl or girls through the Benihanna entrance off Beach Road that walks through the pool and the garden if your room is in the Garden, poolside, or a Terrace Suite. Take the girl or girls up the elevator on the left at Dicey Reilly's entrance, if you have a sea view room. They also have two other entrances inside Royal garden Plaza during the daytime. Avani is a huge resort, not a rinky dink one way in, one way out hotel. I've stayed their countless of times and had no issues because I go exploring on my own and not just follow some of the advice on here. Consider this a free Monkeypaw Tip of the Day.

I stayed at Avani countless of times, too and I have never had any issue, taking one or more girls together.

From personal experience I recommend the Hilton and McGallery Baraquda as very girl friendly. No issue having a few girls in the room. Thinking if trying somewhere different on my next visit. Looking for a place that has no issue with 2-3 girls at a time.

I just emailed hilton and asked if there would be a joiner fee for a 3rd guest if I booked a king for 2. And they basically said no.

So I'm assuming you can bring 2 girls back and no problem? As long as they check in their IDs at front desk?

I was struggling to find the perfect place / location for my NYE holiday at a fair price (waited a little late). I ran across a perfect reviewed place right in the heart of everything at a fair price. Nemo's will be my first guest house. From other sites I have gathered its guest friendly with amazing owner / staff. It's above a no-play massage place on the LK metro square. Does anyone have experience at this place? What was it like? The walk of shame never bothered me at hotels except when a unexpected joiner fee came due. This in my opinion will be the walk of shame on steroids which has me rethinking my booking. Walking past 20 massage girls 2-3 times a day with a different lady for a week is going to have me the talk of the shop right? LOL. I probably shouldn't care but curious if anyone had experience here. Is it as bad as it seems? Surely, they experience this daily right? Wouldn't be much much different than me seeing the post office drop off load of mail each day right? Trying to convince myself here LOL.

Avani charge you 1000 baht for girl number one, even if you have booked for 2 and stay one person. Only when you check in together you do not have to pay.

Anyone know of hotels where you can bypass reception and get two girls into your room? I know the sunshine hotel on soi 8 has a side entrance that allows for this but you have to be staying in the one wing in order to take advantage of this entrance. P72 has a large lobby and bar area, does anyone know if you can get past reception with two girls?

No one blinks an eye in a guest friendly hotel. Girl may or may not have to drop her ID card at reception. Some guys appear to be a bit shy bringing home a girl in front of others and call it the 'walk of shame'.

One of my fondest memories of Thailand was picking up a 20-something freelancer and riding the elevator with 3 older Indian couples. My freelancer was clearly a hooker wearing tight mini-dress (or was it hot pants?), low cut top, fuck me pumps, and tons of makeup. One of the older Indian ladies in the elevator couldn't hold back the smirk on her face. The three older men were all stone faced, but I knew they would have loved to trade places with me. When they all exited the elevator, all 3 women broke out laughing.

About a year ago I took two girls (together) to my room at LK The Empress. The front desk collected the two IDs and I gave a tip. Perhaps my tip was sufficient, but a joiner fee was never mentioned. I figure collecting the IDs is for my protection. I appreciate the call to my room before the girl leave with her ID.

I live half a planet away. This stuff doesn't embarrass me.

Best to check with the hotel or on here before you book. ALWAYS BOOK YOUR ROOM FOR 2 PEOPLE to avoid any possible issues. Some hotels have restrictions that a girl must be over 20 years old as I found out the hard way on my very first night in Thailand. If you stick to the hotels mentioned in this thread you're good to go.
