Does it mean thay charge a fee for guest?

No it means that ABF (American Breakfast) is 110 baht for your guest if you choose to treat her (or him) to breakfast.

There have been a few posts on folks staying in studio condo or bedroom condo but not many. The last few years I have stayed in a studio sized condo. Usually month stays where the price break is the best. As you said no problem at all in bringing in girls and QUIET. And has a great pool.

He is right, most of the serviced Apts are occupied by expats. Also, his reference to Happy hour is probably due to the fact these guys don't look very happy. Depressed hour may be a better term.

You do bring up a good question though. From my experience they are usually quieter, cheaper, and there is never a problem with bringing in a girl.

Lack of support staff and some other facilites are the only negatives I can think of.

It doesn't seem that many guys on here talk about staying in an apt or studio while in Pattaya. Is there a certain reason for that? I am looking into staying at Selina Place. Anyone have any info about this location?

Could be because 90% of the ex-pats in Pattaya live in these rabbit hutches whilst not searching the beach for their 50 Baht fuck or looking miserable in Go-Go bars during happy hour. Someone should really come up with a new name for happy hour in Pattaya?

What are you talking about, Rabbit Huthes and Ex-Pats? What is that? Whats wrong with Happy Hours in Pattaya? So the question that I posted about where to stay was not really answered by your post.

Flipper group have promotion stay 4 night only paid for 3 from now to OCT standard room is 1200 bht per night, there are 2 hotel F lodge at soi 8 and F house at soi 7 both have nice pool by central festival mall stay there many time.

Eastiny Residence.

Diana Oasis.

Anyone have thoughts or experience with these?

I stayed in Queen Vic last time and was pretty happy. I'd like to stay somewhere between Soi 7 and Walking Street, between Beach road and 2nd road at 1000Baht or less per night with no joiner fees. Also, although less important, I'd like to have breakfast included, a pool, and transport from BKK.

Yeah, I know it seems I am asking you guys to be my travel agent. I'm researching and RTFFing as I can and as time allows. But if you come to my city (Shanghai) I'll do all I can for ya!

Holler if you will be around in August 11-18 and want to go trolling together.

First one is free, the second one is a charge. Meaning you bring two in at one time there will be a charge for the second one.

i stayed at eastiny place i believe on soi 8. the rooms are nice enough, but there were ants every where. when i went to breakfast, they were crawling all over the table every time i was there. they were all over the room too. i was on my computer and they were crawling over the screen. the speed was slow also unless you are in the right room. i moved from one room to another and got a better connection otherwise i would have left. i won't go back due to the ants.

The place is OK. But really far from walking street or action. If there's traffic, it could take you 30 mins on the baht bus to get to Pattaya.

Eastiny chain is quite good and reasonably priced. I like the one on soi 7, even though it can be quite noisy, The rooms are nice at either hotel. The residence is much less noisy. For transportation, look up Pattaya taxi for 1100 Bt. Airport to hotel in a nice car. They pay airport garage and tolls and take the fastest route to Pattaya and back. If you want, they will also stop on the motorway rest area.

Hi, I was in Pattaya in the beginning of this month and stayed at the Amari beach tower. Very good hotel and no problem to bring a lady in if after 24:00. If before that you need her to register at the reception. Payed 3 700 BHT for a double room. Breakfast was included and very good.
