Prices change depending on time of day

I just booked Nam's Taxi for a midnight pickup from BKK airport to Soi Diana, and Chanya informed me that they no longer offer small cars for late night pickups. So even though a small car would be large enough for me and my luggage, I really don't mind paying an extra 200 THB to ride in a larger safer car with much more room to stretch out after traveling halfway around the world on 3 grueling seemingly endless flights.

"We have only large sedan and SUV standby for late night pick up. The price is 1200 baht all tolls included for large sedan. ".

I know 'reasonably' priced is relative to the person, so just a few I can look at that are girl (s) friendly. Also, if you can just name an area, then I can just look at the hotels there. Wanting a place that's not too far and centrally located to all the action areas, within walking distance if possible with a room safe. Not sure if there's a place that's in the middle of all the spots mentioned in the Pattaya thread. Guess I'm just feeling a bit overwhelmed with so many options and areas for mongering. Thanks!
Everything Pattaya. You Tuber. Does hotel reviews. Moderately Priced.

I was to arrive later this week, but had to delay for work reasons until the last week of June. Just wanted to say thanks for all the input and I will make a report when I finally get "boots on the ground". I plan to use Nam's Taxi service for transport to / from BKK airport as they seem to get consistent good reviews.

As afar as transportation from the airport I would suggest that you at least take a look at Nam's Taxi service, easy to find on google. Again, I have not used the service, but the reviews are consistent and very good. I will be using them next month for certain. Nam's also gets high marks from a couple of other web sites that are more focused on Pattaya only. Hope your trip exceeds your expectations.

Thank you both for your advice, I got to agree with Fmojo I just want to grab a cab, relax and then arrive at the hotel, happy to pay a couple extra for that, just wanted to avoid the usual tourist trap as last couple of times I was abroad it was for work / arranged transport by someone else. Also happy to see that Sky Ryder will be going to the same place, guess we both read the recent reviews, will need to look into and compare the prices for website vs Agoda / Booking to see which is best, looking forward to reading your report later.

    Acqua Hotel

Just returned from Pattaya, stayed in Acqua Hotel while there. No real complaints about the hotel myself. Rooms are on small side, but fine for sleeping and fucking. In centre of a lot of action being on back of Tree Town and LK Metro. Walked frequently to other areas, it was about a 20 minute stroll to Walking Street and Soi 6, but on nights out got Baht bus to avoid being sweaty on arrival at venues. No problems bringing guests back, sometimes ID required, sometimes not, depended who was on guard at time of entry.

I was on level 2 so had no view outside, could only see wall of an adjacent building. There was however zero noise at night. When meeting friends in reception in morning heard plenty of people requesting room changes from noise outside (must have been facing roadside). This even happened on morning after the pre election, where no one was drinking, presumably. 😂 Breakfast was also fine when included in good room rate I got for booking. Wouldn't however pay additional for it.

You should take a bus from bkk to pattaya very convenient option for 150 baht, do take sim from airport its very useful download grab or bolt taxi service and use it at pattaya to get to your hotel from pattaya where you get down. If you take grab or bolt it will be almost 1 k baht and airport taxi is 2/2. 5 k baht.

Wanted to do a bit of exploring and general tourist stuff while obviously the main objective is to have fun with girls.

My first question is if this would be a reasonable idea, is this hotel alright with bringing in ladies, I'm not against paying a fee but would prefer it being not another 50 usd, and breakfast being included according to the menu and I guess there are decent lunch / dinner options nearby?

Second question is about location, I did my best to do some research on google maps but felt I got overwhelmed quickly, is this a good location as a "newbie"?

Lastly, order airport transfer via the hotel or are there any other good options, feels like if I take a taxi from the airport I will be scammed.

There is a Holiday Inn Express on Soi Buakhao and it is right down the street from LK Metro. Their prices are affordable and it has received a lot of positive reviews. Try it and let us know.

I just returned from an eight night stay at the LK Metropole. It a nice hotel, but does have some downsides. Even some of the nicest balcony rooms look out to an adjacent wall with no view whatsoever! Luckily, my room was on the 7th floor with a city view overlooking LK Metro in the back of the hotel. I had a massive room with a separate living area and separate bedroom; all for $52 a night. That said, they had no restaurant or room service. In addition, the pool is fairly small.

The LK Empress on beach road is nicer, but more expensive. In addition, after Covid a lot of the places around the LK Empress closed, so there is less activity around the hotel. But, it has a great restaurant with breakfast included, plus a very nice pool.

I agree with the comment about the LK President and the dangers of having to cross 3rd Road.

Still, all in all, the LK brand is very good!

I stayed at LK President for 1 night on NYE. Decided to stay there after canceling my trip to Japan and everything else was so expensive at the last minute that night. Everything about the hotel is the same quality you would expect at the other LK hotels. Actually, I believe it's newer than the others. I would pick Empress, Metropole, and Residence over it purely because of location.

I tried the cheapest LK hotel for 1 night just for the fun of it and I wanted a place near M Club. It's LK 19 Nineteen on Soi 19 between Buakhao and 3rd Road. Room was tiny. Not really LK standards but I think it was around $15 USD for the night back in 2016. The 2 maids were about the 2 cutest maids I had ever seen at a Thailand hotel. Regret not asking for some maid service.

    LK President: a warning

This one is always comparatively cheap because it lies at the wrong side of 3rd road. Unlike Beach Road and 2nd Road, 3rd Road is a high-speed thoroughfare where traffic doesn't expect many pedestrians to cross. No crosswalks of course. Could be a death trap.
