Any idea if Pattaya Bay resort is girl friendly or is it more a family kind of hotel?
Any response would be appreciated.

Posts: 1600I prefer the Sabai Inn to the Sabai Lodge, as I feel that it is much better value. I have not stayed at Sabai Resort. Sabai Lodge has nice swimming pools, which Sabai Inn lacks, but you are totally welcome to use the pools at Sabai Lodge, and it is a walk of maybe 30-40 meters across the street from the Sabai Inn's front door to the main pool of the Sabai Lodge.
IMHO, the rooms at Sabai Inn are as good as the ones at Sabai Lodge which go for 50-75% more, and far superior to the cheapest rooms at Sabai Lodge.

Now that I've done some researching. Not sure if the Sabai Resort or the Sabai Lodge is a better spot? Any comments welcome.

Posts: 36Tim Boutique or Sabai Lodge
Need some help here. Cannot find much info on tim boutique, and its about the sane price as the Sabai Lodge. I stayed at the Areca Lodge last time thought it was great, but heavy construction there now. I'm getting there the 30th of Oct. I need some info if its out there.

Hi,
I haven't been to Pattaya for a while, so I would need some update of nice and guest friendly hotels in Pattaya. Basically I would prefer the following:
- nice 3 or better 4 star hotel
- nice and spacious rooms, AC is a must, also clean bathrooms
- close to the action (so using one of the bath buses gets you there)
- nice pool area
- no joiner fee or any other bs like this.
I don't care so much if it is 100 bath more or less expensive, but just want some nice and relaxed time there. I read something about the new Mercure hotel, but don't know if they are gf friendly or not.
Any recommendation is highly welcome.
Thanks - and I will post a nice review after my return. Also if someone else is in Pattaya around the last week in November/first week in December, maybe we can meet up.

Somebody posted that view talay villas are a long walk to the baht bus. I see there's also view talay residence. Anyone know if that's a closer walk? Anyone stayed there?

Posts: 17New Day Night Hotel- Pattaya
Hi Every One,
Again in Heaven, Last trips, I had stayed at Dynasty Inn, Soi 13. Good hotel, a little pricy. Now I mention the "NEW DAY NIGHT HOTEL", reasonable price on South Pattaya, . Has any body stayed there before? Any comments? Girl friendly?
Thanx friends

Well just got back from two weeks in Pattaya, I checked out the new Pattaya Bay. I was considering it because of their promotional rate thru the end of the month, can't beat 700 baht a night for a new hotel. But I did not like the location, there is too much construction back there and my gf was scared to walk back down the road there after dark. The rooms were very plain and they did not have a bathtub, yes we are spoiled. Hehe. It maybe nicer next year when more of the construction is completed. We decided to go back to Soi 13, we like the location and proximety to Royal Garden Mall.
Take care and be safe.
