What is the best 5 star but girl friendly hotel in Pattaya preferably along Beach Road / central?

Previously stayed at Royal Cliff but it was a bit out of centre and needed long walk or scooter taxi in.

Thailand is full of bias, positive to some people and negative to others. Rich Caucasian European is good, rich Japanese or Korean is even better. Thais don't always hide those feelings. I've seen restaurants with door signs clearly stating certain nationalities were excluded from entry. I have no doubt that certain Pattaya hotels have similar policy. One of my non-P4P friends cleans hotel rooms, she has made many negative comments about certain nationalities because too many of them are difficult customers and eventually she found a job at a different hotel to get away from that nationality customer.

Today when I call up the hotel, I am told that we do not accept Indians as guests. I have never faced problems on Beach Road Hotels. Can someone share their experiences with the Hotel?

Indians are pretty much running Pattaya economy currently due to no Chinese tourists. I have never heard any decent hotel staff openly saying what you are saying and I have lived in Pattaya / Thailand for few years.

I will happily call them and complaint on your behalf. Also Indians now need to look into Chinese way of traveling. Only stay in Indian own hotels, eat at only Indian own restaurants, buy packages and pay in INR etc only.

I was thinking the same thing. 15 k-20 k in Pattaya should be able to land you a nice 1 bed 1 bath condo, not a studio. Locals get studios for about 5 k / month (short term leases).

I stayed at The BASE and Grand Avenue in Central Pattaya for a month each. Paid 19 k and 18 k respectively. But I found out afterwards that rent was actually going for about 10 k / mo for The BASE and 10-15 k for Grand Ave.

These prices are almost like travel hacks, and it will be easier to find if you can befriend a Thai local. Working girls should be able to get some good info on affordable condos.

Even with tourist prices, people should be able to get way better deals than "Super Premium Studios" for 35 k baht.

I am currently looking at Airbnb's in both the Grand Avenue and Centara Azure for a November / December trip (45 days). Pre-Covid I stayed at Centra Azure and enjoyed the condo as well as the pool and gym. Has anyone stayed at both and is there a huge difference between either. Both places are $450 a month with a 6 k deposit and charge electricity at 5 bt per unit.
