    Mera Mare.

    Hey guys,

Has anyone stayed in the Mera Mare and has anything to report? Is it friendly, and how is it in general (I only saw one mention by mister BB as an offhand remark)?

Planning on staying in October (only time I could take vacation) for 5 nights.

    Thanks!

This hotel is terrible. I won't come back. Never ever.

Very bad services in this hotel. The staff are so rude. I'm from Australia. 1st time I stay here & I won't come back. The room is dirty. The food is terrible. You can't MEET YOUR FRIENDS or your Family IN YOUR ROOM. You have to pay $400 bath every time your friends or.
    Thanks David.

    Thanks.

Each has their pros and cons such as location and joiner fees (or lack there of) but was hoping for recommendations. I'm leaning toward LK Empress because of the location but reports make it seem that its seen better days. Amari Nova is modern but a bit far away but nothing a baht bus can't fix. Aya is right there but conflicting reports have me wondering if its a great idea. Any advice will help. Thanks!
I don't know about the other two but I have stayed in LK Empress a couple of times most recently in Jan 2019. Got the upgraded room with balcony. It's in a lively location right across the beach (and FLs if that's your thing). Breakfast buffet not bad. Their roadside restaurant is great for people watching although you have the indoor AC option if too hot. The last time I had got a BKK chick along with me for the whole stay but the prior time to that was a solo trip. Had a great stay both times. BTW if you book for two then no guest fee for a partner but they charged me for a third. HTH.

Some friends who have visited me have stayed here and no issues with girls. Feedback was thin walls and small rooms.

The best way to search for something is to do a 1000 Page print (not to actual printer) and then use a normal text search in that.

The forum search function is not easy to use really.

    Citrus grande Pattaya.

    Hello dear friends,

    I am desi.

Friends I need some info regarding my travel to Thailand in mid June!! My company has booked my hotel citrus grande Pattaya.

Guys please tell me if this hotel is guest friendly or not? When I emailed the hotel they said they only allow extra guest only if I book this hotel from their website? I will be booking the hotel on double occupancy but now I don't know what they will do!! Any suggestions on the nearby hotels so that I can take the girl there if possible.

Many thanks to Banana Boi and Green Toad!

I decide to book the Base Central instead.

    Cheers!

VT6 is nicely located but hit or miss as the units as each are individually owned, and even though centrally located, it seems isolated (it's a big concrete building with nothing around it). Some units have amazing views. Also, you can avoid the ID card thing if you enter through the freight elevator in the garage. Honey's is reliable.

I'm joking about the Flying Club but guys have been known to take the leap from VT6 in the past. Don't let that deter your choice of VT6. It was one of my go to places to stay before I moved here. However, I used to rent the 100+ sqm 2 bedroom rooms.

    Vt6

It is a condo not a hotel. They will collect the girls ID card if you wish but no confirmation call. The girl just picks up her ID and leaves. Be wary that a small percentage of girls may not go with you to VT6 as they are concerned this is home base for the Pattaya Flying Club.
I do not know the story about the Pattaya Flying Club. That's kind of scary. Now I know why the room rate is so low.

    Thank you bro!
