It might seem nice to stay at a resort but personally I would be bored as hell in such a remote location. And you have the hassle of dealing with the taxi maffia all the time when you want to go somewhere. Unless you rent a motorbike of course but that has its pros and cons also (but more cons than pros if you ask me).

I would go for Hilton. Much much better central location and close to the most important baht bus route.
Ye fuk me. Is it srsly too much to ask for a resort / hotel with a nice beach AND a central location? God dammit LOL.

200 baht for a cab ride 2-3 times a day sucks but its not too bad considering price difference between hilton & intercontinental w / hilton being slightly pricier.

Oh well. I suppose hilton it is then. The pool will have to do. **snob alert** I don't like touristy / public beaches LOL.

    Incorrect on Avani.

Let me correct you on that. You get charged 1000 baht if you are a dumb ass and take the girl or girls pass reception in the front. Take the girl or girls through the Benihanna entrance off Beach Road that walks through the pool and the garden if your room is in the Garden, poolside, or a Terrace Suite. Take the girl or girls up the elevator on the left at Dicey Reilly's entrance, if you have a sea view room. They also have two other entrances inside Royal garden Plaza during the daytime. Avani is a huge resort, not a rinky dink one way in, one way out hotel. I've stayed their countless of times and had no issues because I go exploring on my own and not just follow some of the advice on here. Consider this a free Monkeypaw Tip of the Day.

As long as you can catch a cab in Pattaya late, the 200 baht isn't a big deal (being able to expense it LOL).

I prefer Semi-Pros and free lancers to fishbowls for some reason, just me. From the below I gather that some discos, where these girls go, will still be going after 3 in Pattaya? Also like Eastern European / Russian tail, I tend to break the Asians 6'4 230 lbs. Any suggestions on hunting those?
To BananaBoi's point. Yea I don't mind paying 200 baht for a cab ride LOL. Just wanted to make sure girls wouldn't turn down a long time request because of the distance from walking street.

While I'm sure there are non-asian working girls there, perhaps just ease up on the pounding? LOL. Are you one of those guys that just try to senselessly smash these working girls as hard as possible?

    Weird setup.

I think this page needs a sticky thread stating in bold red capitals. ALL HOTELS IN PATTAYA ARE GIRL FRIENDLY, UNLESS REPORTED OTHERWISE SPECIFICALLY. STOP ASKING.

I agree with you, the location is too remote (unless you rent a motorbike) even if the distance from the Ibar is around 2 km, also I think no bahtbus there. I would not stay there without renting a motorbike.

No it's not. You can hit the disco's / clubs in Walking Street. Or the chat apps.

The resort has a shuttle service but it only operates until 9:30 pm.
