First timer here to SEA and just did a walk in to this place as it was advertised as "adult only" and around the corner to the entrance to walking street. Hmmm, first impression is this place looks like a love hotel out of Alice in Wonderland story. I just flew in from Siem Reap so really did not care where I spent the first few nights. Asked for basic room at 1450 a night, walk-up rate. 2000 deposit and got my key. The room, man I've never seen so many angles, curves and knickknacks in a hotel room before. It kinda felt like I was in a cave at first. Everything works, the food is good, service with a smile so on that front no issues. Doubtful I would stay here again but it can definitely grow on you if you view it as a "themed" room like some love motels have.
GF.

Deluxe Room with a pool view. Agoda rate of $40 USD per night plus taxes and fees. Nice king size bed. Great view of the pool from balcony. 199 breakfast buffet option. Lots of couples and kids so not exactly a hobbiest hotel, but they had no issues with girl visitors. Standard ID check and phone call system. Probably won't return since it's out of the way. Have to walk thru Avenue to get to Second Road to go North or all the way south to Beach Road to get to WS. Also getting back from either is inconvenient.
My favorite hotel is W14. Pretty much on WS and easy to get to Second Road to get to Soi 6.

Stayed at LK Residence for 8 nights in their Superior Room. I was meant to stay at City Garden Pattaya Condo, booked through AirBnB but that room was an absolute disaster, so I booked LK Residence on the same day and moved in. I got a price of USD 55 per night which is pretty good.
With LK properties you simply cannot go wrong. Everything is good. Well appointed, large, clean, elegantly decorated rooms. Good comfortable bed with choice of pillows. Spacious bathroom with a Jacuzzi tub and a WC that has a water jet (quite common in Thailand). A decent balcony, for smoking. A large fridge that is well stocked, a microwave and reasonably well stocked crockery and cutlery units. Yes, there is a safe. All the electrical work in the room can be controlled by an electronic master unit next to your bedside, so it is super convenient. Decent pool, not too big though. Very efficient and friendly staff. I had trouble with the aircon one of the days and the staff resolved things very quickly.
The biggest drawback of this place is there is no restaurant, so calling in room service is out. But with a location like Soi Diana you are never too far from some good places to eat.
Lee's Diner serves fantastic Thai and European food. Thanks to Banana Boi for the recommendation.
There is always Kiss Food and Drinks.
Bronx Pizza is great VFM.
Beefeater Steakhouse, Longhorn Steakhouse for some great steaks.
Tons of street food.
Some sports bars on LK Metro.
You can do your laundry at Kim's Laundry that is up Soi Denmark, They charge per piece but it won't set you back by much. Pharmacy, 7-11 and Family Marts are all over the place. ATMs / Money Exchange right at your doorstep. One of the best clean massage joints, Paanan, is located on the street level of the hotel. Bars are everywhere. Almost all girls know the place and have no trouble coming over on their own.
Getting around is very easy. Baht bus up North on 2nd road. Baht bus down South on Soi BuaKhaow. Moto-taxis are available at all times. Uber works just fine and is usually cheaper than the moto-taxi if there are more than 2 people travelling.
All in all, I think this is great place to stay and I would love to be back here soon.

Posts: 3474Looking for a hotel on or near Walking Street where the front desk is easily bypassed. Any suggestions? I've stayed at the green view and have routinely walked past the desk with a girl without checking her in but I was wondering if there were hotels that would allow you to go directly to your room without having to walk past the front desk? I'm basically looking for a short time room that can be used by anyone without having to rent multiple short time rooms. Also having a place to relax without hoofing it back to our nicer hotel.
