Hey OzAsianLover, where are you staying? I agree that the atmosphere in Chequers can be less than welcoming for a foreign guy. Last August I was with a girl that one guy seemed to regard as his personal property. The girl didn't want to be seen going home with me that night, but she did agree to meet me the next day. That might get around the local guy jealousy problem.

I've never found much at Why Not. When I'm there I always see skanks (Domino should like it), trannies or girls staring at themselves in the mirror on the dance floor. The waitresses are great eye candy though.

I was pleasantly surprised by what the trike drivers brought me. It's worth a try and you can always just send them home if you aren't impressed.

Im not interested in any contacts with the gurls, cause I like to try my luck alone, but Im curious bout your experiences in that. I know gurls from chatsites, but you can forget them to 99%, unless you spent some money to them in chat (sometimes up to 2 US$ a minute). I will def visit Dumagette, btw if some of the bars who caters for the local guys, then gurls must be pretty hot there and much more beautiful then in western managed bars, just my opinion, when I stayed in Qcity and visited the flipino clubs there. But I think the Qcity clubs are more visited from pinoy business men or overseaworking pinoys , cause of the pricerange there.I never got any trouble there when visiting clubs in Timog or Quezon avenue, only sometimes discussion about the bill, cause they always try to cheat you on that, specially if your a foreigner and had some beers LOL.

I would also stay away from places, specially when Im alone and with no pinoy company where the guys get jellous, that aint be funny, cause guns can be bougt anywhere and it snot wise to date gf or wives. Hahahaha.

Have been here in Dumagute for 5 days now and I have to say it's a great relief to find such a pleasant and friendly city in the Philippines.

The business class trip on Ocen Jet from Cebu is lovely way to get here for p1200.

The city is loaded with students and workers, who are mostly very approachble, albeit a bit shy if you talk to the younger ones.

I've got a number of telephone numbers, and while the girls seem happy to spend hours texting messages back and forth, they all are too busy to meet up for other activities (so far).

The text craze here is very annoying, literally a conversation would go for 24hrs if you dont switch off your phone.

I've visited all the places mentioned before.

The first girl I took back was introduced to me as a sister of one of the girls I met on the promenade. 19yo pretty cute. Back in the hotel room I find she got the monthly cycle and so I jut decided for BJ. Absolute shocker at it, so I kick her out after an hour or two. Slip her P500 for her trouble.

I later find out she actually works from Why Not bar as well.

I wasn't impressed at all with the quality at either of the dancing bars - Chequers and Lipstick. The places were packed with local Filipino guys on the Sat night - drunk Filipinos and guns just don't do it for me, so I didn't stay long.

Most of the girls I've seen outside Why Not are below average as well, except for the one met last night.

18yo cute as hell, wouldn't stay all night, but seems happy enough to come back this afternoon for another round.

Ok, hopefully some more reports on a successful score of a local student, but I think it would take much longer to pursue them than the time I have here left in Dum.

The girls in Dumaguete are as attractive as anyplace else in the PI. I didn't stay there very long, but it is possible to pick up girls from the boulevard --my friend picked up two and surprised me as I was boozing it up at the Why Not bar.

The Why Not bar has girls available, but I never asked for prices, since my buddy practically delivered mine right to me.

Dumaguete is a very pleasant place, and I plan on going back.

it seems to be a little dead this board, just read ur posts about dumagette an alternative getaway from funplaces like ac, also to get to know more normal non pro gurls, which is quite a hard time when you try this in ac.

i was in cebu in 2000 and i had been told at that time from a pinoy guy that you get 3 girls in dumagette for the same price as in cebu, also i read from your post that its possible to date non working girls.

my questions is, compare to the bargurls in ac ( which i respect but 80 % not my taste) how do they look? morena? tsinoy? mestizia? maybe you can share some fotos or pics taken there..im not interested in contacts to the girls, but just interested how they look like.

I use El Dorado Resort which is some distance to the south. It's owned by the same people who run the Why Not place, and they have a free shuttle that goes back and forth. = It's also good to bring any regular girl you have out on the diving boat.

Absolutely true! Great diving and good options to have your gal on-site. I took them through the trikeers in front of why not...but never paid more tha 1000 for overnight at the resort - and then next day come along on the dive boat. But be careful: The trikers asking all up-front. I only give them 2 - 300 upfront and the balance to the girl. Improves the performance!

Just finished 3 nights here.

Got there on the Ocean Jet from Cebu with a stop in Tagbilaran. It's costs 720 one way and goes twice a day. As has been reported here Super Cat doesn't do this route anymore, they only go to Ormoc right now. Ocean Jet has been expanding their network. They now also go to Dapitan and they say they'll start going to Maasin and Surigao soon. The boat ride was ok and on time. One down side is the terminal in Cebu isn't as good or in such a good location. I especially miss having the Tinder Box in the Super Cat terminal.

Stayed at La Residencia Almar, a short walk from the pier. It cost 1495 for a room with a window looking out the side of the hotel with a view over the water. I've never had a problem bringing guests here in several visits over the years, day or night, pros or non-pros. There's an ok Japanese restaurant here and also a steak place.

My visit here suffered from less advance preparation than the other cities I visited. I didn't spend much time screening and getting to know the girls I chatted with, especially not getting enough of an idea what they would be willing to do. All of them turned out to be fairly conservative, one of them was actually 16 when she had said she was 18, yikes! So chalk another one up to the benefits of preparing the way well in advance.

So I was left with the pro scene for finding bedding down partners. Luckily, Dumaguete can provide. I'm always pleasantly surprised by what the trike drivers on the boulevard can find. Very nice college students, and they can call several until one turns up that meets your wants and needs. Of course you need to do some bargaining. They may start out pretty high but you should be able to get down to 1500 or so total for ST.

I also went out to the clubs near the airport, Lipstick and Chequers. The Aussie ownere of Lipstick was very welcoming and helpful. He said all his girls were available for takeout. But the girls there were just chubby and unattractive for me. I went to Chequers next door, and saw much better quality there. Got together with an absolutely gorgeous one here and it caused some animosity with local Filipinos in the club. Everyone seemed to want this girl. The bad news was she wouldn't do a barfine. She did come to the hotel the next afternoon for 1000 for a short tryst. So ask at the start if the girl can go out with you. I saw one more club across the street from these two that I didn't have a chance to visit.

There's a KTV close to La Residencia, next to and upstairs from Coco Amigos restaurant. I found some very delicious companion girls here. You can get a private room for 1000 or 1500 for the biggest room, lots of drinks included. After that you'll have to negotiate with the girl. The mama-san was adamant about not allowing barfines.

You can also try the famous, you-can't-miss-it Why Not Bar, aka Music Box. This is expat ground zero. They have internet, a travel agent, money exchange, 2 restaurants, an open air bar, a big disco and live band place that really gets going on weekends and a KTV place that I've never really liked. My visit fell on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday nights so there wasn't much to pick up. What was there was mainly looking at themselves in the mirror while dancing, always a turnoff for me. But it's always worth going in here just to see the waitresses in their black leather outfits. The ones out of the disco wear miniskirts with these German fraulein looking tops. Almost every one of them is very tasty, but of course they're hit on by foreign guys constantly. So you'll have to work on getting around their defenses. For picking up girls it's best to come here on weekends, watch out for lady boys. This place also keeps a decent stock of wines and European delicacies like sausage, cheese and chocolate.

It's also worth walking up and down the boulevard at the sea wall in the evenings. There are always lots of girls out for a stroll.

I didn't go diving this time but I always have before. I use El Dorado Resort which is some distance to the south. Dives usually go out to Apo Island, which is quite good, especially for schools of jackfish. If the seas are choppy, and they often are in August, they will stay closer into shore at some marine reserves. It's also good to bring any regular girl you have out on the diving boat.

i just want to stand up for you. i didn't read everything in here, but i think a lot of it has to do with guys making sure that if someone finds out there posting, like a spouse, they will surely think they are not having **** sex. that's a fine tactic. say what you mean more strongly so people will be sure of your opinion.

let me point out the oppisite. i went to k12 in cambodia. on another board there was nothing about under-age there. everyone was saying it was heaven. my impression when i went was that were at least some woman that were easily under 15. i could have been wrong.

that experience of going there was one of the most horrible in my life. i almost ran in discust. and my reaction was so intense that i posted to this other board and said these guys were scum of the earth even though many of them may have been there when it was a legit place.

yes there is no real "relativity", but the fact that 17 is legal in one place and not in another does make all this tricky. if you go to 16, well then you are definately crossing the line in my book. i think many guys are in a foreign country and don't know the age of consent and are maybe encouraged by a 17 year old in a night club to fool around-- not for money but for fun. do they ask for an id? what kind of one-nighter is it if someone looks 19 and you ask her for an id just because she maaaaay be 17.

i guees all of this is a bit of a gray area. yes, pay for play i guees you should always ask for an id. and you should always know the age of consent.

but what if you're on vacation in a country for 3 days while traveling, don't intend to have sex, and a woman who looks 19 comes onto you and says you're very cute (and the age she likes, say 25) and you are handsome and she wants you to take her home. what do you do?

I would suggest that you go back and re-read my PM to you because you have obviously invented a few things in there, thrown in for sensationalism, in what I have claimed to have said.

The one thing you did get right was when I said that on this board, Philippines, there are many exaggerated claims passed off as factual, Yes I still maintain this. And maybe I must be one of the guys, who you refer to as being jealous of you, hmmmm poor me.
