Cheap hotels, well before i moved out of that dump they call panama, well, all of the hotels were cheap, but I heard things have changed. Stay away from hotels at all costs. Go get a cheap apartment, that is better, hotels will always jack you hard.

Las Vegas hotel seemed like a cheap hotel that was good idea, not sure of the price anymore. plaza paitilla and all the rest skyrocketed, too bad. hotel Montreal is a pit, not sure, i am not the best connection anymore for panama, too bad, but business is done there for me. prices too expensive, I like a bargain.

I had visited Panama City about 2 years ago.
I stayed at the Marriot. It was a nice hotel and GF for the two times I brought someone back to my room. But the hotel is expensive.
I am looking for another hotel, in the same area, but a little less expensive, but also GF.
Is there anything else in the area that fills this bill?
What about the Veneto or the Radison Deapolis?
I like the Marriot for the cigar bar across the street and a little club that was a short cab ride from the Marriot(i do not remember the name).

Let me know if you have any suggestions.

If you have to go to La Mayor (smelly fish area in casco viejo) please realize that this is a very sketchy area filled with black people who prey upon stupid americans that they can rob. Be careful of thios area.
