Pepe, KOS has reported hookers in the bar at your hotel, although I've stayed there 2 or 3 times and never saw them.

Forget about walking, just catch a cab and go north on Frederico Boyd. This is a major north-south road just off the west side of Fantasy's map that dead ends into Avenida Balboa very close to the Miramar. Get them to let you off at Calle 52 or Espana and explore. This will only be maybe 5 minutes from the Miramar unless traffic is bad. Oasis on Via Veneto is only daytime option. A couple of places that aren't on the map, La Bodeguita is probably closest place to Miramar, but doesn't get good until late in the evening. Also, Elite has some great shows. It would be just off the southwest side of Fantasy's map, on the first major road south of Calle 52. Another place I might recommend that's not too far from the Miramar for daytime actionj (I like it better than Oasis), Hawaii Massage. You'll need a cab.

Golden Time is maybe 15-20 minutes from Miramar if traffic is good. Get the cab driver to take you to Plaza Mirage on Tumba Muerto. Or if you want to save $10 (GT pays a commission to taxi drivers) do a search on Golden Time and you'll find out places nearby where you can ask to be dropped.

Staying at the intercontinental in Miramar, what is the mongering there like. anything walking distance. (hard to get away) I keep hearing about golden Time but I did not see any sort of address or location on the board.

La Huacas is a good economical hotel with good service, but no pool damm it, but good price. Go to Golden time, oasis sucks as is a rip off joint, miami club not bad either.

Please realize, I have no intention to return to Panama for a long time, but things really do not change in the city, except for new condo buildings.

I am in Panama for 10 days and was thinking of hitting Bocas and possibly Borquete. But would love to find other towns that might have a good nitelife.

Forget Boquette. Its full with older pensioners from the US. Not that I have anything against them. But you would find Boquette very BORING and EXPENSIVE. Besides that the climate can be a Bitc. H. As it is somewhat cooler and more rainy becoz of it's altitude. If you ever wanna buy property there be sure to take serious $$$$ with you;.)

Volcan. Is even more high and an inl; nd turist attraction for the Panamenians. Do NOT expect to see bars or hookies here!

David can be fun. If you speak spanish and like to meet non-pros.

Colon is nice for shopping (free zone) but at night the city is dangerous even for panamenians. The trainride from PC to Colon is very NICE:.)

Bocas: is expensive as it is a regular turist trap destination. Also in Bocas bring in yer own girlie;.) no hookies here!

PC: has much action, bars etc. Etc. Etc. The carnaval in February is nice:.) Well I think there is already nuff said about PC on this section;.)
