I will be in Panama over Easter weekend. For planning purposes, can anyone advise which (if any) nights (Thursday, Good Frirday, Sat, Easter) the scene is pretty well shut down?

Does any regular Panama visitors have any insight into whether the mongering scene has been affected by the falling dollar and euro? And have prices in Le Palace and GT'S been adjusted accordingly? I find it hard to believe that overseas mongers in Panama for a visit are paying the same as last 2 years.

I don't think that you can expect downward price adjustments at Le Palace or at GT since they are fixed establishments. I have just come back from a quick trip in Panama, and GT seemed busy enough. However, one of their top girls indicated to me that business has been "a little bit" slow in terms of foot traffic. Add the fact that they now have a full complement of girls, and incomes for the individual girls is certainly not as good as it was before. Nevertheless, I don't think that you will see a drop in their prices. I have been paying the same price at GT since 2002 when I first started going there and I hope to be paying the same price in the future.

A better place to see rising/falling prices may be in the freelancers working at the different bars and casinos, rather than the girls that work in the clubs. Unfortunately, I don't regularly frequent those spots so I can't comment on those.

Have been there recently and there is no drop in prices. The reasons might be more simple than can be imagined:

1. Recession/crisis is not felt yet. Even though it eventually will, for now the country is just growing less.

2. US dollar is the legal currency in Panama since long, long ago. If it goes down there is no effect on prices internally. Unless they start exporting those services, that is. lol

I see where the Sheraton Convention Center Hotel has a casino. From my reading Veneto Casino has local tallent.

If you're talking pros, the Veneto is the best by far.

Thanks for the help, their web site does not show a casino. I understand the Sheraton is about a 10 minute cab ride to the Marriott where tha action appears to be. Do you know if there is any action around the Sheraton?

No, there's no action in that area but it is indeed a very short ride to the Marriott area where the action is. If you take the bit of the highway in front of the Sheraton you'd be in the center in 5 minutes at night (avoid peak hours).

If I'm not mistaken there is a casino in the hotel itself. Don't know if you will find WG there, though. As for being girl-friendly my memory is the entrance is wide open and you just hit the elevators without anyone asking you where you are going. The desk is by the levetors but if you use the fron entrance it would be after the elevators, so no need to get to it. Hope this helps.

Okay, so, I'm halfway through my trip and here's what I've done so far:

- Apartment/condo: Great spot! Overlooks half of the city, a piece of ocean and a part of the mountains/hills. 3br, 2baths for $130/nt. Better rate than you can get a Veneto or Marriott unless you have reward points.

- Habanos: got 3 phone numbers of girls for future rendezvous; I could have easily took one right then and there, but that would have ruined me for the night.

- Veneto: went there as soon as I left my apartment first day, ended up being around 8-9pm; OUTSTANDING selection. Better than I remember when I stayed at Veneto 2 years ago. Although I have to say, the girls seemed to be a little particular about who they were going with; I didn't try any of them at the time, but, I definitely saw them trending toward older, white haired gentlemen versus younger or latin guys. Likely the perception of more money. I saw one chica that I actually thought was a normal girl because she was hanging with a guy and gambling at the roulette table, but then I noticed she started looking at me and smiling alot. She was built like a brick house, but its a little hard to tell if it was some kind of body shaper or her real shape. Made small talk, found out she was from Colombia, that was the giveaway. Got the number and would've called last night if it weren't for the SIM Card issue I had. Maybe will call tomorrow or later tonight.

- LePalace: went here looking for my amiga from Bogota; soon as I walked in I forgot all about her. No surprise, some real stunners here. I spoke with 3 girls, all from Cali or Medellin, none of which wanted to make plans for outside of LePalace, my guess, just not interested in me for whatever reason. No sweat off my balls. She came over today and I almost broke her back (nice thick ass made for doggystyle)! She knocked $50 off the price for a Victoria's Secret travel bag that I got for $7 off the internet! I may call her back again. We'll see.

- Non-Pro: been in touch with one girl since my last trip. We went to the movies once and went out to eat once. It is in the "Rio Abajo" area of PTY, about a $2-$3 cab ride from Venetto/Mariott area. Nice club and chicas. I would stongly recommend that you consider having the taxi driver wait for you. Although the area didn't look dangerous, taxis to go back seemed to be too few and far in between.

you should not pay more than $2 for the cab. At the capri there's a $3 cover charge, no free drinks with it, beers are $3.15, but you might want to get a pitcher for $5.
Time with the girls is $36 per 15mins(damn them!! they raised the price to locals from $15 to $21 and to foreigners the price is even higher, but dont know if higher than $36)
The quality of the girls will not dissapoint you
