With 7 hours, I guess I could take a quick look at the Panama Canal, have a meal and then hit a place like Golden Time since I won't be checking into any hotel. I would be flying in from Medellin on my way back to North America so I'm wondering if Panama would be a big let down after Medellin.
After Medellin PC will be a let down unless you were asleep your entire time in Medellin.

I will be flying through Panama City in May 2016 and have a few flight options all with varying durations of stopovers.
1) 1 hour.
2) 4 hours.
3) 7 hours.
Of course I already know that with the 1 hour verion, I'll just be going straight to the gate for my next connecting flight. For the 4 hours version, I'm wondering if it would give me enough time to get out into the city even for a bit and return to catch my next flight?
For the third option, I definitely will have enough time out into the city. What would be suggestions for this one considering that I have never been to Panama before? Of course it would be nice to do one girl somewhere as well as see one general tourist attraction.
Immigration timing is a crap shoot as is traffic in the city. If you decide to do the stopover, give yourself as much time as possible. I'd recommend a walk around Casco Viejo, the old town, and lunch or dinner there depending on your timing. And then Golden Time or, for local flavor, Bocatorena, which is next to Casco Viejo. For the Canal with your short amount of time about all you could see would be a ship going through a lock.
I think the only possibly option is 7 hours as the airport is about a half hour from downtown PC.

Just a general comment on the taxi debate. I haven't seen this mentioned so I will. When I am in Panama City, or Bogota, I often take the white hotel taxis. These are parked in front of hotels, are nice newer cars and SUVs, and Cost more than a street taxi. I like them because the drivers are more upscale and know a lot about the city and can advise. The cars are more comfortable and cleaner and in PC, Bogota, Cartagena they are white so you know them. They are safer since they are associated with a hotel. Rather than flag down a cab I suck it up and pay the few extra bucks for a hotel taxi. It's worth it to me. I also like Uber a lot, and used them in Bogota and they were cheaper than street taxis and hotel taxis. So. Lots of options for you.
I love reading all of your posts and flame wars regarding taxi fares. Like everyone here says the taxis are horrible, they overcharge, they text and drive, or are just horrible drivers in general. I don't take them anymore except when I am wasted. Is it worth fighting over a dollar? I don't know. I live close to the fish market (la Mayor, Boca) and visit there on occasion. Everything said here is true. But it is safe. It smells. Most of the women are 5's or below, but you do find some nice talent there too. I also like to go to the Veneto but I rarely pick up women from there. I just like to play in the casino and watch all the action. I have not been to Habanos, but would love to go.
Normal pay days here in panama are the 15th and the 30th or around there. These days are packed at the fish market. Sometimes there are more choices because the putas come out when there is more money around, but often there are too many men for the women so I don't normally shop for anything around these days. That includes going to the markets or banks. Just full of people everywhere.
The map is awesome by the way. I never realized there was a MP right by my house I will have to check out Hawai some time this week. I will post my experience.

Regular yellow taxi service is crap. Is a hit or miss thing. Try to get uber, a little more expensive but a secure travel option.

The place is best described as a hooker apartment house and I'll call it Dynasty as that's the name painted on the building who knows how many years and purposes ago. It's in the Plaza Cinco de Mayo and is serviced by the Plaza Cinco de Mayo Metro stop. Taking the subway to a cheap venue is, by the way, the epitome of low rent mongering.
The place was discovered by my PC-based friend who is a Spanish-fluent blonde-haired gringo. He was taken there a couple of years ago by his married Colombiana girlfriend for a late night drinking session with her working girl friends. He said the girls were friendly enough but the place was foreboding with locked doors, stairwells for toilets and not completely friendly local guys. For me, the perfect place for an adventure.
Looking at the photo, the entrance is an unmarked stairway at the bottom of the vertical yellow stripe. Look for the faded Joyeria awning on the far left side of the photo. We first showed up at about 10:00 on Friday night and were told that it's only open from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm. So we appeared again mid-afternoon on Saturday.
As we started up the stairs to the first floor, I commented that it sounded like a lot of people up there. I was right, the place was like a block party for hookers, clients and people wandering off the street for the party. Inside it's a half oval with open air hallways or walkways overlooking an open courtyard. If you have a really vivid imagination, think of a bacchanalian HoJo with walkways filled with hookers and clients overlooking the pool. There are 10 or 12 apartments on each of three floors. Each apartment had, I would guess, 4 to 8 girls working out of it. Each apartment has a steel bar security door outside of a regular wooden door. On Saturday, all of the security doors were open whereas they were closed and locked when my friend visited two years ago.
One of my major complaints about Boca, and even the high end places, is that few of the girls bother to even fake appearing happy to be there. This place was different, it really was like a hooker block party. Music coming out of various apartments, occasionally overlaid with rhythmic moaning or outright screaming. Girls eating and drinking, dancing, hanging around their own apartments accosting potential clients and walking around. Guys wandering around eyeing the girls. A truly upbeat party atmosphere on a rainy Saturday afternoon.
Needless to say, we were the only gringos in the place, possibly the only gringos since my friend was there before. But we were welcomed by many of the girls with open arms and legs. I don't know how many times we were stopped and propositioned by the girls as we wandered down the walkways. The most negative reaction was from the girls who simply ignored us. The Panamanians clients were friendly enough too with several talking to my friend and nothing negative.
The girls, you ask? Think of the mix of girls at Bocatorena and you'll have it. Probably some of the same girls working here during the day and at Boca in the evenings. Obviously no 20 year old 9's but variety for pretty much any other taste. No one particularly tickled my fancy although several did molest various body parts. Since I decided to have the full experience, I settled on a younger petite girl but was foiled when she was snatched away in front of my eyes and I didn't want to wait for her to reappear. My second choice was Brianna, a dark-skinned, Latina bubble-butted girl from Medellin. Not my type at all, but, when in Rome. The going price seemed to be $20 for a short time. The apartments are all variously built out inside with 8 by 10 foot cubicles, each containing a bed and nearly enough room to swing a pussy. Enjoying the doggie view of her bubble butt with her bent over, I negotiated a reasonably priced upgrade to the full Greek cruise experience. Everything covered, of course. Not the best, not the worst, but fine for the price.
I'll be back on my next trip to PC. Even if I have to go alone it's safe and friendly and I can't think of a better way to spend a few afternoon hours and get a little action in PC.

I have been in Veneto about 4-5 times in the last two years. This chica fee is BS. I already reserved my room there for this weekend. I could probably cancel for free, but I'll probably suck it up this time.
When I was was there in June I brought my own girl from Colombia for a few nights. We arrived together from the airport, later we went to Mexico for 2 weeks.

The guy at the front desk understood me well and checked that I had someone else with me and he waved to the security to say I was OK.
I made sure to leave an online hotel review about them treating me and my so called girlfriend like this.
This might be related to the fact that the Venetto was intervened by the gaming authority to prevent bankruptcy, they are under government administration right now.
The Hotel Principe is chica friendly. I made reservations for two, and the girls did not need to check in at the front desk. Carted a 6-7 from Habanos last week for $200 tln. The weather in PTY is hot.

There doesn't seem to be a set hour of expiration. If you leave with the girl to go eat somewhere and come back you show the receipt to security.
You could probably bring in a different girl with the receipt, or bring a girl upstairs for your buddy using the receipt, etc. Or you and yoiu buddy fuck the same girl, whatever you want.
