I guess we are going to agree to disagree. No street girl in the world (Except in developed countries) would get that kind of cheese ($200) for TLN from anyone. In a way, you are making my point: How are you going to compare a 10 from GT, arguably, the best massage parlor in the country with a street ho? No way you can compare the two. First, the GT girl has to answer to her bosses and would get fired for trying to pull the crap that happened to BaitandSwitch (Sorry about the bad luck). Because she is walking around Veneto, Habanos or la Bodeguita, they are still on the street. My point is quite simple: Providers talk. I've been there and trust me when I say that they are laughing and calling us foolish. If she is a 10+ and you've got to have her, I wouldn't offer more than $100. Doubling the price makes us look weak and easy to manipulate. A street ho in Panama charges $20 for a short time and $50 for TLN. That's the going rate when I was there last time in November. If they are hanging out who cares where, Veneto, Habanos or la Bodeguita, that does not mean that you pay as if she works at the establishment. She is from the street, she knows it and so should we. Paying the local's rate times 4 is just plain sad. If you don't know, ask the locals what they pay. Don't be scared to ask. You will see that I am not that far off.

I stayed at the Veneto this weekend. The hookers were out in force in the casino -- the place appears to have returned to its glory days, and I thought it was a little better than Habanos or La Bodeguita. There was absolutely no problem taking a woman to your room, in fact, the security guys on the casino level would push the button for you. The level of talent was up significantly in Oasis compared to the last time I was there. And prices in Elite are getting ridiculous -- they're up about 40-50% since last time I was there, about a year ago. Lady drinks are $18.90 a piece and you have to buy 10 for takeout. That's just the barfine, not counting what you have to pay the woman. They're charging $30 for the open bar now.

Voyager, I believe you are in a time warp. $200 for TLN is not unreasonable. I don't think most of us are going to get a "9" or a "10" for much less than that, unless there's some chemistry, or unless she has a long term agenda. You bring up Golden Time -- the charge there for TLN is $350, and if the woman gets half that's getting close to $200. Or we may be talking about two different things--yeah, if you pull from the bottom half of what's available, $200 is too much to pay. But BaitandSwitch was talking about an attractive woman with magnificent cenos who speaks English, and I imagine Free was thinking along the same lines.

I don't think there's any comparison to a Nevada Brothel. I've paid up to $350 for TLN in Panama, twice, both times at GT, and from what I've read it would have run more than 10X that much in Nevada. Both of the women were 10's in my book.

As to prices, I think Golden Time is an anomaly. I don't live in Panama, but in the 5 years I've been going there the price of hotels and food has gone up a lot. And in USD terms, prices have increased even more in Colombia, where a lot of these hookers come from. The dollar is weak and the rest of the world is getting richer while we're staying the same. In any event, I don't think it's people like BaitandSwitch, me, and other posters that are running up prices. We're a pretty educated group, thanks to ISG we know the going rate. IF there is anyone to blame, it would be the foreign businessmen, the wealthy locals, and the tourists who don't have a clue.

the ban is ridiculous!!! is actually good that now they are defining that in the law, but the law itself was created taking only the non smokers opinions in consideration, because by law, there's not even a smokers designate area.

Whats even worse, apparently, the law is written in a way that if you are walking down the street and you are smoking and someone that doesnt smokes gets annoyed, they can call the police on you!!

Considering that weekly salaries in PTY remain at or around $100 per week, since when have we been paying $200 for TLN? To a street ho no less? I don't like to criticize, but are you serious? First Habanos, located DIRECTLY in front of the Hotel Marriot. The only thing there is the place is most time full of Colombians with fake tits. Sometimes you can find some with real ones and a few cuties from panama there also working. Bottom line its worth a try. BUT it is NOT open on Sundays. This is also a better option for someone that does not like the loud music, club scene. TLN probably about $200

Second La Boudaguita (I spelled it wrong im sure). Review the board for the correct location. A small club with colombians and SOME chics from pty. TLN will probably run you about $200, depends on how well you can "talk" to the girl, etc, etc. Warning, loud music, lots of people, BUT a great time to be had. Also this spot is open on sundays.

Got into town yesterday. Missed meeting with Mr. Vee due to his change of location. No problem though. Las Vegas suites is overpriced at $70 a night IMO.

Yes, I do have (and will post) reports on chicas. Today I woke up after another short night (got back to the room at 3 AM - alone) and checked out of Las Vegas and into Marriott for only 20,000 points. And being fairly empty this weekend, they upgraded me (Platinum status) to a huge suite on the 20th floor, full access to Executive lounge of course. Try the Hotel Milan straight down the block from the the Las Vegas. The bathroom and bedrooms are nicer, air conditioned and much safer than the Las Vegas.

Rooms are $57. 50 including tax, I'll be there Saturday. I ve been there 5 or 6 times in the last year. I stayed at the Vegas a couple of years ago and then discovered the Milan.

Anyway, I'm paying $70/night at Las Vegas, but for me it's only about a 1-star hotel, maybe 2-star, by U.S. standards. Don't get me wrong - I don't expect U.S. quality outside the U.S. for $70/night, but I would at least like a comfortable bed and semi-quiet room. I'm on the 8th floor but the sun pours in at 5:30 AM and the traffic (beep-beep, honk-honk) is nearly constant, so if you're a light sleeper, better hope you don't have to work the next day like I did.
I brought one girl back for an hour last night, around 2 AM, and the front desk lady only gave me a disapproving look, but that was the extent of it (like I cared).
My room has a digital safe, but no one knew how to use it until finally today the lock company fax'd them some instructions, which the hotel put underneath my door while I was at the MultiCenter Pacific mall for dinner.
The wireless (and wired) in my room works fine, except for one short outage today while I was working.
Had to go out and buy shampoo & conditioner - I quit traveling with those because (1) airline security with regard to liquids, and (2) every hotel I stay at always has small bottles of it. Not here, though.
Prices for nearly everything here are U.S. equivalents, except maybe taxi rides.

Maltrufio, I was charged several times, only during the night time. The last time I stayed there was maybe a year and a half ago. Except for one time when I walked straight to the elevator and the guy in reception made a big deal of it, it was a pretty painless process -- the woman would show her I.D. at the desk, I'd get charged, and we'd go to the room. At night there usually weren't many people in the lobby and it only cost $10 so it wasn't a big deal.

Good to hear they didn't check you -- again, I agree, it's comfortable and decent value for the money.

During the daytime there was no problem, although the woman I took to the room wasn't dressed like a prostitute. I've stayed there 2 or 3 times and like the place -- no problems with street noise because the A/C drowns it out, and it has a nice restaurant where hookers from Le Palace and Elite go in the early morning hours. Also a good business center if you need to fax or print or help from a bilingual secretary.

Try the Executive. Pool, with wireless access pool-side (although they charge you $5.95 for it), a block from Habanos, no hassles or extra charges for bringing in temporarily girlfriends, room safe, fridge, clean, etc. And what's up with the gay porn star username?
