Anyone know if Habanos opened back up yet?

ALL BARS are still closed.

but there are a few ladies (3 or 4 depending) awaiting your pleasure at the small restaurant around the corner of Habanos

"Panama recently opened its airport to international tourists. Visitors can choose to either bring a negative test result, or receive a rapid test upon arrival. While convenient for tourists, it also carries some risk: Those who test positive are required to isolate at a designated hotel / medical center for at least a week. ".

Some prices have dropped but its mostly still the same. That area is still mostly the same as you prob left it last time you were there. But why go there now.

Just a few questions for the guys who live in Panama:

I usually stay in the Cangrejo area and was wondering if the many restaurants, bars, small mom&pop stores are still able to hang in or are you seeing lots of vacancies?

On Via Argentina alone there were probably 300 restaurants many of which appeared to be struggling even before the pandemic.

Are you seeing higher crime rates?

Have housing prices dropped off any?

Anything else you might have to offer?

I hope to return return someday and get to use my flight vouchers on COPA before they expire.

Some prices have dropped but its mostly still the same. That area is still mostly the same as you prob left it last time you were there. But why go there now.

Latest porting in the newspaper tonight is half the waiting list for my compadres on this site.

Prior to October 12th various economic activities are permited, but they have nothing to do with our passtime.

On the 12 of October the following will be re-opened in full:

Elimination total of the nightly curfew.

Full opening of International aviation.

Hotels, motels, hostals rural, and their complimentary services.

Toutism activities, and non essential transport.

UNFORTUNATELY.

BARS are EXPRESSLY not on this list and will remain close until further notice.

El Consejo de Gabinete de Panam aprob este martes varias fechas para la apertura de nuevas actividades econmicas a partir del proximo lunes 7 de septiembre, cumpliendo con las medidas de bioseguridad, exigidas por el Ministerio de Salud (Minsa) en la denominada nueva normalidad.

12 de octubre:

Se levanta el toque de queda, incluyendo domingo.

Aviacion internacional.

Hoteles, moteles, hostales rurales, sitios de hospedaje y servicios complementarios.

Actividades tursticas, transporte no esencial.

Thanks for the update Mellow; some of us will be waiting anxiously when good old Habano's reopens. Hope it can be this year? I am curious to see when you guys think it will open.

All restaurants bars hotels are closed. Period.

Crime rates are the same as far as I am aware.

Copa has extended the validity of the vouches for a further 12 months. So check with them.

Due to my age (72) I have been a good boy and minded my own business. And staying home.

Unfortunately I could get acquainted only with my good memories.

But, "I need skin" seems to be my new war cry.

I had the antibodies, so my ass will be first in line to walk up to Habanos to get some of that pussy with a mask off if allowed.

I don't think it's so certain those antibodies last a year or the 18 months when Habano's will reopen.

The government extended the flight ban another month.

I also try to imagine how the selection will be made by the bouncers as to whom they will let in because of the number of patrons will be limited.

As the girls will all be wearing masks.

And the Colombianas/Venezulanias are not waiting in Panama for the opening. Which nationality will be the first to show up.

There will be a very limited number of them because of space restrictions

How will we, poor punters, make our selection. .

The very first guy to climb the three stair steps into Habanos will be a very courageous lad indeed.

When do you project that fun will return to Panama? January? June?

Panama had pretty much the most drastic lockdown in the western hemisphere. Yet their death rate per million is just about the same as Mexico, who did very little, and worse than their neighbors.

I enjoyed reading occasional stories about cops busting sex parties at push buttons.
