Moulin Rouge and Doll House were closed a year ago as a result of a police action. I've seen some cleaning up going on in the respective buildings, so maybe someone else is going to open something up there soon. Based on the history, it's unlikely to be adult entertainment though.

Golden Time is now apparently $107. They say there is no surcharge anymore if you take a cab, but I don't know if I believe that or not.

I haven't been to Oasis in a year but, for an hour, $42 or $21 before 2:30 PM would be a lot less than it used to be. I think it used to be around $80 for an hour, or $50 if you went before 2:30, and that included everything. However, if you went before 2:30 PM, you better be prepared to tip or your date would try to get you out the door as soon as humanly possible. It sounds like they dropped their prices, but now the base price is for massage only.

Since 2004, what you paid at the front desk for half or a full hour was the price. If the providers are now charging a second price, then this is the worst case of upselling ever!

This place has more opportunity than I thought. It feels like CR in the golden days. Ok, well, almost. I felt like a kid today. I had FOUR encounters. Ok, sort of. Two were just latincupid dates that only costed me a couple of drinks. But the other two were good. Not stellar, but good. First, let me get this off my chest. What is this bs about BBBJ "causing" bacteria? That must be going around because every girl I talk to says the same thing, as if bacteria is a bad thing. By the way, though, she WAS Panamanian, a rarety around here. But who cares. There's nothing like a Paisa.

The "normal" dates were just too boring to even write about here, so I'll spare you. I'm on my way back downstairs. If I can pull another one in one day it'll be a mid-life record.

What was the quality of the talent at Goldfingers? Colombianas or local providers? What did they charge you? What was the ratio of stunners to just average?

I stayed there over a year ago and brought two different girls in late at nite. Wasn't a problem then. I would just ensure she is dressed appropriately. Just be discreet and it shouldn't be an issue.

i've read a ton of information on panama and i'm still lost as far as how to get a game plan together. can someone help me?

i am younger, and my idea of a 8, 9.10 is along the lines of the chicks in transformer movies or on the. can someone let me know if they only had 7 days in panama: 1) what is a good city, city-area and name of place to stay if you want to go to dance clubs but not get raped on price. 2) what are the places where the better looking working-girls go? and finally 3) is there a 24-hour bar place (like the del ray in costa rica or the strip clubs in colombia) where you can just head to at 3am if the night clubs don't produce free girls?

again, i've read all the posts here and i'm still feeling like i don't have a solid grasp on how things work here.

you can have a very jazzy week in panama. if i were doing it, i would.

- arrive in the middle of the week and leave in the middle of the next week. that way you can session up front, rest & recover on sunday, and finish strong.

- drop the unrealistic expectations of playboy models and transformer movies. like sir-mix-alot said,"don't talk to me about playboy, because silicon parts are made for toys!" and you will not be able to bring your airbrush with you. there is no "photoshop" feature for ticas.

- get the best rate you can for the veneto hotel. it is like the del rey, but better. in that it is ground zero, chica friendly, the lunch specials in the casino cannot be beat, and the 7's. 8's, and 9's will hang out there in search of the guy that will pay them $150 for short time.

- that said, be adventurous. take a cab less than a mile away to the love hotel across from the hospital and the mall. los arcos. it has everything you need. clean room, comfortable bed, hot water, air con, three porn channels on the cable tv, sound proofing, mood lighting, mood music. for less than $40 a night, but it does not take reservations. you go, and if they have a vacant room, you got a room. otherwise, wait until one empties out. the most i have had to wait is 40 minutes. no chica fee. it is a love hotel. but absolutely no three ways, just couples! it is after all, a "family" joint, one where respectable middle class businessmen and salarymen bring their mistresses, or a married couple can escape an apartment full of inlaws and kids for a romantic afternoon or "date night", or young people can escape their families / college dorm / prying eyes (because they don't own cars). i have stayed there, but walked to the veneto neighborhoood to hang out. save money without crimping your style.

- avoid the taxis in front of the veneto or other 4-star hotel. expensive, and unless you are one of the nerds on "big bang theory", you don't need a mongering tour guide. but do avail yourself of an experienced wingman if you meet one. no taxi ride within town should cost more than $3 during the day, but i have paid $4-5 at night for that 7 mile trek from golden time / the fantastic casino / chinatown to veneto after 10pm.

- do check out habanos at night. if you are looking for "dimes" they will be there. usually they are colombian and have worked their way from the minor leagues to majors to the international circuit. they will ask for "cien" or more if you look like an atm.

- do check out the casino at veneto often, at different times of the night. it could be barren at 9:15pm, but full of great possibilities at 10:30pm.

- do take advantage of the diversity of restaurants: two excellent arab ones (one across the street from habanos) , a good cuban restaurant (and the other middle east restaurant) a block or two away from the river club and relax oriental mp's (both are dumps, but they are usually the gate way for new girls and i have found diamonds in the rough there several times) , and some excellent japanese and sushi places. the food court by the entry to the veneto has a little of everything, from inexpensive local lunches to subway!

- go to golden time. whether it will have a platoon of colombian 9's and 10's on duty from 7pm to 6am has much to do with hemispheric economic conditions, it is the best run mp in the time zone, and i have gone upstairs 90% of the time i have gone, and been very, very pleased 85% of the time i have gone upstairs. a couple of gt girls have become favoritas that i have continued to see outside of gt, even outside of panama. when you go, please have the cabby take you to the casino fantastic in el dorado / chinatown, go inside, wait for him to go away with another fare, and then walk up the hill and across the street to golden time. this will save you $10-30 dollars of "gringo tax" on you $84 dollar session at gt. go from the casino, to the taco bell / kfc, to the mcdonalds, cross the street to the church's fried chicken, and into the strip mall to gt. a blind man could do it with a dog, a cane, and a sense of smell for fast food.

- somebody please go to goldfingers about five blocks away and give a review. two blocks from the fant casino is miami club, a strip club with cabins in the back.

- both gt and mc are owned by expat chinese. if you can pass for chinese to a panamanian who can't tell the difference between a korean / japanese / singaporean you will get a huge asian discount, half off. just look asian, speak accented but halting spanish, and dress like a local.

- try the oasis mp on the same street as the veneto. go to their web site and print out their coupons. try their lunch special ($50 for an hour befor 2pm). i have found diamonds in the rough, a hot milf, a hot divorcee down on her luck, and college students there.

- there is no such thing as a bad internet cafe in panama. panama has great communications link ups. they have to, the world banks there and half the world's ships are registered there. cheap phone calls and great internet connections for pocket change. on some trips, i did not bring my lap top. i didn't have to pay $10 a night for internet connection when the cafes were open 20 hours a day.

- do buy a cheap local cell phone at the chinese owned shops for less than $15, buy some time, and ask for 4-for-1 days (or better) for buying recharge cards. there a different promotions on different days, so when you get a 3/4/5-for-one day, re-up. you can use your phone to call overseas for little money.

- walk a few blocks away from ground zero to find your neighborhood pharmacy (not a tourist oriented one) to buy your pills. rx's are not needed for most stuff. just 150 meters from the restuarant across the street from the food court near the veneto down a long, unbroken street is a neighborhood laundromat. they charge you by the pound to drop of your laundry, wash, dry, and fold. overnight service, same day if you come early and pick up late. 3-4 lbs for less than $5. 00. bring your soap / dryer sheet and cut that price in half. there are little neighborhood convenience stores (usually chinese owned) where you can buy your fruits, pinapple juice, baked goods, and other sundries and snacks. but a couple of blocks away on the big main street is a huge supermarket that is good too, with a deli! and near there is where i can find not one, but two shoe-shine guys who will give you a spit shine for just $2!

- when you arrive at the airport and have cleared customs / immigration, go upstairs, find a cab that is dropping people off, wait for the cop to be distracted and offer the cabbie $20-25 to take you to the hotel, but insist he take the toll road (unless it is not morning or afternoon rush hour). if he is cool, honest, and has a nice cab, make him "your cabbie" and call him when you need a cab, especially at night.

- touristy things: take a favorita to have lunch by the canal locks and walk through the museum. you can eat and look out the window while a huge ship is going up and down the "water elevator." shop at the mall at the former allbrook air force base. walk around the national university near the veneto during the day (when they are not having a poltiical rally) and try your hand at picking up co-eds.

- if you are going to panama, then you can also do a side trip to medellin. there are direct flights, and if i did have a week, i would spend half a week in panama and half a week in medellin. if i were going for the first time, i would fly into medellin on a sunday and check into one of the casablanca bed / breakfasts (the former medellin mansion) so i wouldn't feel like a paratrooper behind enemy lines. good digs, good breakfast, the company of other guests, conveniently located, tours of the day time casas, quiet at night so you can sleep, there are the "mansion girls" you can have come over, there are day time tours of the "casas" or mps, and at night you can meet the medellin 8's. 9's, and "dimes" while they are still young and "farm fresh" in their natural habitats: parque lleras, discos, night time casas, etc.

Veneto to Habanos is less than 2 blocks. If you are taking a taxi for $2-$5 for less than 2 blocks, I don't know what to say. I am disappointed to say the least.

Maybe when you're drunk it's two blocks, LOL. More in the four block range and having to cross the main thoroughfare on foot is taking your life in your own hands. Walk down a block from the Veneto and and pay no more that $2, you'll find a cab. I would tip a dollar anyway, but that's just me.
