Be careful as there increasing number of raids by immigration now in Panama city and it seems as if they always go Habanos maybe cause they know the girls are there. So be weary if you do plan to go there check the video out for the details on the raid but they basically took in some girls and took their liquor and if you were there without your passport you would have been taken also.

I am not too sure what happened but when I passed they seemed to be closing at 12 pm, maybe they have some problems with the police or something not sure if this was just that day or is going to be a permanent thing. If you guys pass let us know if you have any additional info.

I stayed at JW marriot and its the same there is a cost when you come back with the girl and you have to register them, personally I find this a bit embarrassing I really don't know why hotels do this or don't have it in a more discrete way. Got here to Panama. I booked a room at Eurostars for 2 adults. Upon check in I asked them if that is OK to avoid any chica fees and the girl working there said that used to be OK but now they are very strict.

She said I can have one guest, and as long as the same girl is with you, you can have her for all the nights you are staying but if a different girl comes they must charge the $50 fee.

I went to Alejandro's on my first night and enjoyed a couple drinks and Hookah and eventually took one of many waitresses who were working there to the VIP room. $30 room fee, $100 for the girl. Everything was covered but she was fun and overall it was a good time. I'll be checking out Habanos tonight.

On my visit to Panama last month I stayed at Sercotel Panama Princes. I met a young lady on City of Love (reviewed her here). I arranged to met her in the lobby as you need a room key to access the elivatirs. Was unaware of chica fees and nothing was said. On a side note the hotel has garage parking and the way into the hotel from parking doesn't go through the lobby so I'm sure there would be no issue getting girls in the back way.

However after checking the prices for airBnbs around el Cangrejo, area, I realized that ho-tel might not be a bad option even with the chica fee. Rented an apart-hotel with name of one of the cities in Spain on Eusebio A. Morales street. Surprisingly, not one night did they demand any chica fees, nor they asked any questions about who is it that comes to my places, besides food delivery I once ordered, got a call to the room from downstairs. The Marriott is inconsistent when charging the chica fee. In July, I was not charged at all for 5 nights. I was there last week and I was charged for one night. I wish I knew the magic words. Panama City is expensive but I found the quality is better than what I could arrange in Medellin where I had been the 12 days previous. The caveat however is that by the time the chicas reach Panama city they seem to me to be more mercenary.
