I am a European guy, now living 3 years in Panama. I have been hanging out with some 30 different girls per year, some of them I have met multiple time, some other just one.

If you have any type of status with a hotel it's much easier to put pressure on them over these stupid rip off rules.

I have diamond status with Hilton.

4 years ago while booking a 10 nights stay over Christmas at Hilton Copacabana I called to check guest policy, was told it's 250 reais after the 1st guest on the reservation. I gave the hotel a choice, either change the policy to allow me 1 free guest a day or cancel my 10 night stay & book me 10 X 1 night stays. I received an email 30 minutes later saying 1 guest a day confirmed & have had it every time since. They have stopped nearly all guests now with pandemic but my arrangement still stands.

I called the JW Marriott, the former Trump hotel, and the front desk spoke English. It's the standard policy at many hotels. If you book a room for two people, the second person's information will be recorded when they arrive. The second person will be the permanent guest for the remainder of the reservation. Any additional persons will be charged $100 regardless if they stay the whole night or not.

I've read on this thread two solutions to get around this policy:

1. Take the guest through the casino entrance. If you get caught, you'll be slammed with a $100 guest fee.

2. Make 1-day reservations for 2 people. Annoying because you have to refresh your key card every day. Only 1 free guest per day.

Can people speak from experience about the following questions:

1. How easy is it to bring guests through the JW casino entrance and not be caught?

2. Any hotels that charge $0 for an additional guest.

3. Any intel on the W Panama? They are not answering their phone.

The plan is to mainly pull from Habanos. But I'm going to pull form LE Palace one night. It's on my bucket list! I have a list of restaurants and bars I want to check out as well. Should be a good trip!

2. Elite strip club is 100% closed for good.

3. Habanos has good selection and 30-40 ladies but closes at 12 am every night because of the pandemic. (best time to get there is between 9-10 pm).

4. Alejandros Bar had 10-20 ladies and most were pretty cute. Also open until 3 or 4 am according to hostess. Lady drinks were 14 $ (don't know the barfine pricing / didn't ask).

5. LE Palace if you want 10's, but you will pay. 120 $ barfine, 200-300 to girl for 2 HR then whatever the hotel charges. Also open until 4 am.

6. Golden Palace & Golden Fingers were a waste of time, don't bother. Not a good selection when I went.

Many Airbnb's have strict policies on visitors. I'm in one right now. No visitors allowed at all any time. Only fully pre-registered guests allowed.

There is a rapid test clinic on the bottom floor of the airport before security.

Its about $50 and takes about 20 minutes.

JW Marriot does not have testing.

Plaza Cinco de Mayo is the hub of transport with buses to everywhere.

From Tocumen airport, buy a $5 bus pass inside, ride the MetroBus to MetroLine's University station. Take Line 2 South to San Miguelito, switch to Line 1 for Cinco de Mayo. From here walk 2 short blocks South and 1 block East you will find Bar Bocateranos near the waterfront where tour buses park across the street where hot girls and $2 cold beers can be found from 9 AM -11 PM. Policias in 4 and 6, armed with hand guns and M4 carbines, are posted at every major intersection throughout Casco Viejo and downtown day and night I felt safe.

Walk across the street East beyond the rotary is the Mercado de Mariscos with about a dozen seafood restaurants, some very good eats with $1 beers. From here you can walk South a few block into Casco Viejo, or board bus 882 inside the 5 de 5 bus terminal and ride a few blocks South to Parque de Santa Ana then walk into historic old town. Streets are narrow and dark with lots of crumbling old buildings, boring at night, not recommended to stay.

From the same 5 de 5 bus terminal you can take #682 for the long ride to Costa de Este past fancy beach resorts and affluent neighborhoods, ends in Santa Maria in the North end and turnback, a nice, long scenic ride for 25 cents. With anonymous banking people here have lots of money to spend on nice houses and fancy cars. Completely unlike the poverty downtown.

You can stay in expensive beach resorts in Costa del Este but the water is very murky and there are salt-water crocodiles, or you can stay at 1-star hotel Republica at 5 de 5 plaza so you can walk down to bar Bocateranos quickly. Central Ave next to it is the main shopping district with lots of restaurants and street food.
